Chapter 89 Beach Trip

(Lina'POV)
"Going back now?"
"Or tomorrow is fine, Rafael, but we can better get back early."
I looked at Rafael and my tone was very firm.
This time, however, Rafael did not grant my request unconditionally as he did before.
"Lena, give me a reason, will you?"
It's hard for me to say why.
This matter is related to Justin, but, Rafael is obviously very dissatisfied with Justin, according to Rafael's character, once he knows what I think in my heart, he will certainly not easily agree with me.
I had to find a random excuse: "I got a phone call and they said something happened to my father and I had to go back early."
Raphael looked at me with a skeptical look, "Really?"
I sighed, "Of course! I wouldn't make such a joke!"
I didn't even dare to look Raphael in the eye, I was afraid he would see that I was lying to him.
However, he has indeed seen it.
"Lena, I know you well enough that you better not lie to me."
I knew that the truth had to be told now.
I looked to Rafael, "Because of Justin."
Sure enough, Rafael's face turned ugly for a moment after hearing Justin's name.
I had guessed that this would be the outcome.
Raphael, however, did not mean to stop, he simply walked to my side and looked at me with a serious face.
"Lena, what does this have to do with Justin?"
I couldn't tell Rafael that Justin had other ideas for me, could I?
I took a breath and said, "I'm a little scared of Justin, you know? I know Justin is a good guy, but, my gut tells me I should stay away from him, just like that."
"Really?" Raphael still looked unconvinced.
I tried to look as firm as I could, and when I looked at Raphael, even I was on the verge of believing such a statement myself.
Rafael frowned at me and he was silent for a long time before he said, "Well then, we'll go back tomorrow."
I smiled at Rafael.
The matter is settled.
However, when I think things will go the way I think they will, things always go beyond my expectations.
There are always a variety of events held on the beaches of Hawaii, and recently there was a great dinner party, which was organized by residents.
At 7 p.m., Emily knocked on my room.
"Good evening, dear." We greeted, and Emily seemed to be in good shape.
"Lena, want to go out for a drink?"
My eyebrows raised, "Now?"
Emily nodded, her face all excited and seemingly completely unaffected by this afternoon's altercation.
"Yes, now, they are just starting, there is still a purchase campfire there, I already you already know about this before."
I did know about it, but in reality, I had no intention of going out.
"Yes, I know, but Emily, it's too late,"
"Honey, it's only seven o'clock!" Emily looked surprised.
Also perhaps heard Emily's voice, Jamie surprisingly ran out of the room.
Jamie likes Emily a lot, probably because Emily looks like a little kid.
"Jamie, good evening! Want to hang out with your sister?"
Jamie gave me a look.
I knew that Jamie was asking me what I meant, and as soon as I showed the slightest hint of no, Jamie would refuse.
But actually, I don't want to go to the beach, especially in a situation like this, but I'm worried about meeting Justin now.
Emily still looked at me with expectant eyes.
While I was hesitating, Rafael also came over: "If you want to go, then go, Lena, our flight is tomorrow morning."
"You're leaving tomorrow?!" Emily said in surprise.
I nodded my head.
I wanted to tell them about it tomorrow.
"Lena, I remember you just came in today, right?"
"Yes, Emily, but I had some urgent business and had to get back early, so-" I tried to look as distressed as I could.
Emily easily believed what I said, and she showed a very sympathetic expression.
Soon, however, Emily found a breakthrough: "In that case, you must come with me tonight, Lena."
I glanced at Rafael, who said nothing to me but nodded.
I know Rafael didn't stop me.
I looked over at Emily and smiled at her, "Okay."
The temperature at night is not very low, although the tide has now risen, the seawater has not become cold and biting, there is still much swimming in the sea.
The coast is lit up everywhere, so even if you are alone, you don't have to worry about getting lost.
I wasn't planning on going to the ocean, so I didn't wear a bathing suit. Emily, however, had their bathing suits on through.
"Are you going swimming?"
"No, I just thought it would be cooler, we brought over a lot of beer, and, at this time of year, there are a lot of hot guys on the beach." Emily winked playfully.
When we walked to our destination, Justin was already there.
He glanced behind me and still couldn't help but sigh in relief after seeing no one else.
I would have liked Raphael to come with me, but, since he had originally decided to come to me on short notice, there was still a lot of unfinished business.
Right now, Rafael is taking care of his business at the hotel.
Emily gave me a beer and then handed Jamie over a bottle of orange juice.
"Thanks."
"You're welcome, Lena, didn't your husband come over?"
"He has work to take care of."
"What a shame, I thought you guys would have come out together." Emily's expression looked a little lost.
I can certainly understand her feelings.
Although Emily never showed anything, however, she did not forget what she had said to me before.
I shrugged and continued, "To be honest, Raphael wasn't supposed to be here because of his job, so only Jamie and I came to Hawaii together."
"So he came over later? Why?"
I glanced at Justin, and although Justin hadn't been looking at me, I knew his attention had been on our conversation.
"Probably worried about me not going back for too long."
"But isn't he coming over now? Then why are you leaving tomorrow?" When Emily finished, her face became a little strange.
The two of us looked aside together, and by this time, Justin had looked at us.
"You're leaving tomorrow?" Justin looked surprised.
I nodded, "There's some situation with Raphael's company, so we need to go back tomorrow, and we'll come back when we have the chance later."
Emily and Justin's focus wasn't even in one place.
"Company?"
"Let him go back alone."
Then the conversation lapsed into an eerie silence.
Emily glanced at Justin, then, she gave him a hard stare, but Justin didn't look like he cared.
I shrugged and said, "Yes, Rafael needs to take care of the company."
"No wonder it looks so rich." Emily's words didn't cause me to recoil.
But that's not the point I'm trying to make.
Just as I was about to put the matter behind me, Justin suddenly said, "Lena, I want to know which group his company is affiliated with."
I couldn't help but frown at Justin's question.
While I was hesitating to say it, Emily said, "Well, Justin, you just don't give Lena a hard time."
Justin looked at Emily and said nothing, then stood up and walked to the beach.
I looked to Emily, "What's wrong?"
Emile sighed: "Lena, I don't want this to cause you any trouble, but Justin's father is the head of a business, and his father's group is well established throughout the United States, so there's a good chance that something unnecessary will happen if your husband's reputation is out there."
At this time, some more fear arose in my heart.
It's not that I don't trust the ability of the Hill Group, but right now, the fight between William and Rafael doesn't stop, and any slightest slip-up could deal a fatal blow to Rafael.
If Justin had had to ask just now, I would have most likely told Justin directly.
To calm me down a little, I take a sip of wine.
I already regret a bit going to the appointment.
"However, Lena, you do not have to worry, Justin even if he intends to do something, his current ability is not enough, Uncle York does not have the idea of accompanying Justin to play house, so, Lena, you should not worry too much."
I nodded but didn't even take what Emily said to heart.
Now, I just want to hurry back.
"Where's Jamie?" That's when I noticed that Jamie was gone.
"Anna's over there playing with him, do you want to call them over?"
I waved my hand and stood straight up.
"No, I'll go over to them myself."
Although the place was lit, it was now night and it took me quite a while to locate Jamie.
Then, I walked over to Jamie.
However, just as I walked out not a few steps, I suddenly came up in front of some people, they do not look like friendly people, I can feel that they are not the same as Emily.
I did not hesitate to turn around, but when I did, I saw that someone was standing behind me.
"Excuse me, sir, you're in the way."
I took a step to the side, but then the man stepped in front of me again.
I knew that they were indeed coming for me.
