Chapter 95 Justin's help

(Justin's POV)
I got a call from my father and all he did was open his mouth and ask when exactly I would be going back.
I resisted the urge to hang up and said impatiently, "I haven't had enough fun, so if you don't have anything important to do, just leave me alone, okay?"
I was not at all interested in my father's estate, but he always showed what he thought was good into my hands.
"Justin, this time you have to come back, and if you refuse, I will soon freeze your account."
Then, my father would make this move.
I had no other choice but to listen to my father's words and go back.
Before I left, I found Emily.
The reason I didn't go see Lena was that I was worried that once I saw Lena I wouldn't have the idea of leaving.
So, I still only saw Emily.
"Justin, you do this and you may never see Lena again."
"Why are you talking to me about this now?"
Emily rolled her eyes, "Because I know that you won't see Lena again, and to prevent you from feeling sorry for yourself, I feel I need to remind you of that."
However, I shook my head.
"If I go to Lena now, I most likely won't leave."
Emily wanted to say something else, but in the end, she remained silent.
"My dad will probably ask me to work inside his company."
I was silent for a long time before I said.
Emily looked up at me, "That's a good thing, you should be happy."
"Don't you tell me that you don't know how I think?" I looked at Emily and my tone became a little stiff.
But Emily shook her head, "Forget it, Justin, I know you better than you know yourself, and if you didn't want to inherit Uncle York's estate, you certainly wouldn't have given him the chance to find you."
Being told the truth by Emily, my heart suddenly felt some irritation.
I wasn't as resistant to my father as I seemed to be.
I would prefer that he sit down and listen to what I have to say, but he won't do that.
"Justin, auntie has been gone for a long time, even she would have wanted you to be able to have a better future, and also, uncle feels guilty, so when, can you forgive yourself?"
I looked over at Emily and she looked serious.
I nodded at Emily and left straight away without saying anything.
However, after I returned, my father said he would take me on a trip to New York.
I wanted to take the opportunity to have a good talk with him, but neither of us seemed to have much of a chance.
When I arrived in New York, he offered to take me to a meeting.
Even if I don't even have a proper identity.
"You're not kidding me?"
I got in the car and it still felt a little surreal.
I sat in the car and gave him a call, but, he was still very firm.
I knew that I had to tough it out.
But I didn't expect that I would think I would never see Lena again, and yet here I am, seeing her.
It was a dream, and I couldn't distinguish at all what exactly was reality.
When Lena looked over at me, she looked very shocked as well.
It was as if time had stopped, and I stood in the doorway, unable to move my feet at all.
Finally, it was the voice of my father that pulled me out.
I quickly withdrew my gaze and walked in.
Lena stood up, and she seemed a little hesitant, to tell the truth, but I had already made the choice for her.
"Hello, first time meeting, I'm Justin."
Lena gently took my hand, and soon, she let go.
"Hello, Lena Hill."
(Lena's POV)
I have not come back to my senses until now, relying entirely on my body's instincts to do things.
However, Raphael in the Bluetooth headset is no longer able to remain calm.
"I can't believe I didn't think to check out his identity."
Raphael's tone sounded very cold.
I can even imagine the look on his face, but I'm keeping my manners as they should be for now.
"Since everyone has arrived, let's start the meeting."
Once the meeting officially started, I completely ignored Justin's presence.
Because he likes air.
From the beginning to now, there are no other words except for a self-introduction.
I didn't know what I was supposed to say and was following Raphael's instructions the whole time.
At this moment, I deeply felt another side of Raphael.
Even in such a situation, Raphael still kept enough sense and decisiveness, and after the other party asked particularly difficult questions, Raphael could react in the first time and cope well.
Just when I could take this project very well, Mr. York said, "Although the conditions in all aspects are in line, there is a question about the land, I think we still need to continue to negotiate, if your company can agree to us to put forward this request of mine, I think we can cooperate very well."
Rafael on the other side was silent.
Even though I don't know much about these situations, I can sense that Rafael wants to take this project very much.
But, again, the demands made by the other side are unacceptable.
That's why Rafael is so hesitant now.
Just when I thought there was no solution to this matter, Justin broke the deadlock: "I think that the other side's request can also be accepted."
I looked up at Justin.
Mr. York, however, frowned after hearing these words, "What do you know? If you don't know anything, don't talk casually."
Justin never took his eyes off mine, even in the face of Mr. York's very oppressive gaze, and he didn't withdraw his gaze.
Then, Justin suddenly put his head to Mr. York's ear.
My brow furrowed.
Raphael's voice suddenly came out, "What are they talking about?"
I typed to Rafael: I don't know, but Justin said something to Mr. York.
I heard Raphael smack his lips with great impatience.
Before I could say anything further, they finally stopped talking.
Then Mr. York's gaze eased.
I looked over at Justin with some confusion, but the other man gave me a smile that wasn't very obvious.
"In that case, the land aspect will be arranged according to the contract for now, but there are other aspects that I want to adjust."
When Mr. York put his request forward, Raphael surprisingly agreed to it.
However, just as I was about to nod, Raphael suddenly said, "However, I no longer want to continue working with them."
My mood suddenly became complicated.
Everyone was waiting for my answer, and all eyes were on me.
I knew that my answer would be the key to determining the outcome.
I know why Raphael would suddenly say that, simply because of Justin's presence.
But I won't pay any attention to his childish thoughts.
I smiled at Mr. York, and then, I said softly, "Okay, if everything else is okay, I think we should be ready to sign the contract."
Then, the next second, I heard a busy phone tone coming from inside the headset - Raphael hung up the phone directly.
My mood suddenly sank, but the situation at hand was important and I couldn't relax yet.
When the contract was all signed, Mr. York left, and Justin went with him.
I was sitting in the empty conference room when Landon suddenly came up to me and asked about my status.
I smiled at Landon, "I'm fine, by now, things have worked out."
"Madam, in that case, let's leave too," Landon said.
I nodded, and I was just standing up when the door to the conference room was suddenly pushed open.
Justin is back.
I glanced at Landon and said to him, "Landon, go out and bring the car around, I'll be there soon."
"Yes, ma'am."
After Landon went out, I turned my attention to Justin.
"Your husband is Rafael Hill?"
"I thought you knew which Raphael was really which Raphael." I shrugged.
Justin wanted to continue to say something, but, he opened his mouth and finally, nothing came out.
"Is it possible that you don't want people to know that we two know each other?"
"I just subconsciously said that, and I feel like it should be that you don't want to."
I still couldn't hold back my laughter when I heard the words, "Justin, if we were friends, I wouldn't even care about that."
Justin still looks very stubborn: "But I don't want to be normal friends with you."
I let out a laugh, not in any way angry, I just felt like I was hearing a lame joke: "So, you think I'll leave Raphael and choose you?"
"I didn't mean it that way."
"I feel very sorry for you, Justin, because if it wasn't for that, then you wouldn't have had any chance."
Justin seemed to want to continue to say something, but, I looked down at the side of my hand on my wrist, then, I raised a finger and made a quiet gesture: "Well, Justin, this matter ends here, we will be a good partnership in the future, and we will still be good friends if you give up those impossible ideas. "
I didn't give Justin a chance to answer: "Now I'm going back, I'll stay well with my child and then wait with him everything for Rafael's return from Hawaii."
Without another glance at Justin, I simply pushed the door open and walked out.
