"Is he following us?" I ask from the passenger side of the car.
Cam drove within the speed limit which was a first for him, I was antsy as I couldn't look see a thing since Cam's head was blocking my view.
"For the third time, yes. The van that has been parked in front of your house for the last two weeks doing nothing, is following us. Now call Jonathan, let's know how far we are allowed to go."
I oblige and find Jonathan's contact on my phone. It doesn't ring twice before he answers the call.
"Hey, how is it going over there? Is anyone watching the house?"
"Nope, seems only one van was stationed outside your house and followed you. The security guys are here, they are settling in downstairs. Whilst the guys fixing the surveillance cameras are working on it."
Jonathan's idea was working so far. He said we had to get the van away from there before we can call in the security guys and the guys who'll fix the cameras. And the only way to do that was to get me out of the house, and for security reasons I will have to go somewhere public, where I am certain they won't be able to attack. And so Cam is driving me to an undecided location. While Jonathan works with the guys at home. The van guys don't know that I'm not alone in the car, Cam had done some stealth moves and now they think I'm driving and they can't see inside since it is tinted glass, and they have been driving on Cam's side since we left the house.
"How long will it take them to finish?"
They were also fixing cameras around where the van usually parks, so we knew what they were up to. Trying to stay a step ahead of Sebastian and his cohorts was expensive.
"At least an hour. Drive to a location. Meet somebody. Don't let them get suspicious."
"Got it."
We disconnect because everyone is on edge, I am away from the safety of my home and if these guys decide to shoot at the glass, they would know I was not alone.
"Do you have anyone you can meet? Anyone who is not Lisa?"
I make a mental check of everyone I knew, but I did not want to risk their wellbeing. Like a light bulb goes off in my head. I remember Evangeline.
" What?" She answers as a means of greeting.
She grated on my nerves so much that I almost did not feel guilty about risking her life. Then I remember they could trace her back to my mom, whom I could not let get hurt. I disconnect with a huff.
"Theresa." I whisper like I had a revelation.
She seemed surprised that I called, but I asked her to meet me at a seafood restaurant at the edge of town. Cam murmured about the fact that I didn't go to his restaurant. But i could not let them link two and two together, I might be overthinking it but I knew who I was dealing with, Sebastian Hansen. I could not underestimate him.
"A plan just formulated in my head right now." I tell Cam.
He spared me a glance.
"I will need the farthest table. I can't let them see her."
"Why? Is she Lisa?"
"No. But she is well versed in the art of seduction. I bet whoever is in that van has not had any action and will not say no if someone like Theresa comes on to them."
He chews on his lips. Straining as if driving within the speed limit was too much for him.
"What if they are gay?"
I frown, "let's hope they aren't."
He parks in between a wall and another car and slips out of my car before the van could enter the driveway. I know they were not far behind so I hurry into the restaurant, taking the most corner table, which was tucked into the back of the restaurant. Reminding me of the day Lisa and i were caught in the bathroom. My cock twitched at the thought of it. I missed her so much, but now was not the time for it.
When Theresa walked into the restaurant, every male in the establishment turned to look at her. I waited for the way my cock reacted to the thought of Lisa to react to seeing Theresa who used to get me excited, to react, it does not. Again, I am floored by what Lisa had done to me.
She slides opposite me just as the familiar van man enters the establishment, I hoped they did not meet outside.
"You called. To say I was surprised is the understatement of the century."
The van guy looks around and i assume he is searching for me. I quickly look away so our eyes don't meet.
"What are you looking at?" Theresa is about to turn when I lean over and hold her face in place.
"Do not look anywhere else. Only look at me."
I know my movements have caught the eye of the van guy, from my peripheral vision, I see him get a table that he would see me clearly from.
"Okay this is creepy." Theresa chuckled.
I quirked a brow and say nothing as I seat back down.
"If you are going to pretend at least don't look so guilty. It is a dead give away."
I raise an inquisitive brow in her direction. She smiled easily.
"You did not tell me you needed a fake girlfriend, I'm not dressed for the occasion."
She gestured to her slutty outfit. It looked familiar. I have taken it off of her before. I felt my cheeks redden in embarrassment.
"You caught me." I smile easily.
"There. Better. Is he looking?"
That brought out an amused smile from me, "I think so. He has not stopped staring at me."
"Great. I'm not going to ask Why, as long as you are paying me."
"Well, for the right price, are you willing to seduce someone for me?"
She smirked, "For the right price, of course. Whatever you need me to do."
I smirk right back, Lisa and i might be seeing each other sooner than I thought, because Sebastian Hansen is going down.
