My finger caressed the soft silky gown Kennedy had bought for me this morning. I sighed wistfully, time ran really fast when you're having fun.
"I still have to go get my clothes." I giggle.
His hooded eyes held me down but his hands on my waist did almost all of the work. He had placed me on top of the island and the towel was just there for fancy now. It covered nothing and revealed almost everything.
"Can't you call in sick?" He was kissing my neck now. My toes were curling in response.
I almost say sure why the hell not. He was the one who detached from me.
"Nope, you work Monday and Tuesday right? You can spend the rest of your week with me."
My stomach did a flip at the thought of spending that long with him.
"I don't have anything to wear home." I cry as we walk upstairs.
"Don't worry, one of my shirt can serve as a dress you can wear that."
He slipped into the bathroom, I'm tempted to look but I remember working in the creative department was not going to fall into my hands just like that.
His closet was a dream, you could get lost looking for something in it. I almost did. My jaw slacked as I ruffled through the shirts, suits, tuxedos, pants, shoes and wrist watches that were more expensive than my net worth.
They looked like they were hand made by the tailors. Who ever made them were talented and filfthy rich. I don't know what to pick, all of them seemed very expensive and important, I wanted to pick one that wasn't so expensive. Alas, that was an impossible task. I ended up picking a dark grey button up. It stopped below my knees, and were at least two sizes too big. Anyone could take a look at me and know it didn't belong to me.
At least I would be in his car and make a dash inside my apartment to get dressed. I took a sniff of the shirt, it smelled exactly like him. Suppressing my smile I walk of the closet, he was just coming out of shower.
Just when I think he didn't get hotter. With wet hair he looked like he came out a commercial. Water droplets ran across his muscly body. I wanted to be those drops of water.
"You can close your mouth and stop staring now." He laughed.
"Allow me to enjoy work of art will you?" I don't bother hiding the fact that I was staring so blatantly.
"You look really gorgeous in my shirt." His eyes were glued on me.
"Is it bad that I only want you to keep wearing my shirt?"
I laugh but turn away, I don't want him to know how much it affected me. My clothes from yesterday were all over, and he tore my bra. Thankfully I was going home to change.
"Do you happen to have a bag where I can put these?" I hold up my clothes. I only brought a purse with me.
He was just wearing one of the shirts he got from Miami. He looked edible.
"Keep them here, I'll bring them by later."
I open my mouth to argue but he interrupts.
"We don't have much time, let's go."
I don't argue anymore. I go outside to find nothing to wear on my feet. He laughs when he notices I can't wear his shoes.
"I'll carry you in then."
I blush, but of course when he does carry me, I'll look so disheveled in a shirt twice my size and my feet bare.
The car we came was still outside. I quickly survey my environment. And I was stunned.
"You own all of these?"
He nods as he reversed out of the building.
"Wow, it's very impressive."
I was being honest. His house was large but the land which it was situated was vast.
"Thank you."
"You're not an online scammer are you?" I blurt out the first question that comes to my mind.
He laughs so hard that he clutched his stomach.
"Jesus, no Lisa I am not."
I release a breath I don't even know I'm holding. My eyes go from his beautiful face to the rings on his fingers. They were silver bands, and he had one on each finger.
I think of asking him about them when I see he is going in the opposite direction from my house.
"Uhm Kennedy? That is not the road."
"Oh yeah, I just want to get something here real quick."
"Okay then."
"I have a question for you."
"Shoot."
"Why do you always get to work late when you know you have to be there early so they can consider you for the creative department."
"It's not like I plan on getting there late, but some times it's the bus, other times it's something else. I don't know. Do you want to put in a good word to Danielle?"
I looked at him in excitement.
"I'm not saying she will agree to it, but I will speak to her about it."
I shrill.
"You're the best. If Danielle actually considers it, I will be offered a job from the office of the C.E.O. Do you have an idea what that means?"
My excitement was shooting right through the roof.
He laughs.
"One step at a time Mimosa. Wait right here." He says getting down from the car.
I didn't even know we had gotten there already. The door to my side of the car swung open. He picked me up bridal style. My stomach did the flipping thing one more time.
His beautiful face a couple of inches from mine, I lean up and steal a kiss. He chuckles.
By the time he set me down I see we are in store. One where they sold feminine things.
My mouth hung open. He just blushes.
"Pick whatever you want, including a bra and shoes."
I stare at him.
"Lisa, we don't have any more time." He warned playfully.
That got me to start browsing. I ended up picking this super comfortable nude bra, and a pale pink silky gown that matched the black heels. He also got me a bag. All these while I thanked my mom for sending such a wonderful guy for me all the way from heaven, she still had my best interest at heart.
"Seeing you sigh happily, you must already know the news." Zach interrupted my train of thoughts.
"What news?"
"The creative department just opened up a spot for hiring."
