Chapter twenty five

“Damn! Everything about this pack is so luxurious.”

That’s the first thought that came into my mind when I saw the salon building. If not for the fact that it’s written on the signboard that this is a salon, I would never have believed that this beautiful building is one. We alighted from the car, entered the salon, and went directly into the entrance lounge.


“Welcome to the elite salon.” The receptionist greeted us.


“Thank you”. We all answered, and Rose handed her a card she brought out of her bag. The receptionist's eyes widened as soon as she saw the card. She quickly left her stand and came to meet us.

“You are highly welcome. Please follow this way.”. The receptionist begged us to follow her as she led us into the elevator and pressed a button. As soon as the elevator stopped, we came out of it and followed her past a glass double door that says “VIP section.”.


“Hey, Jane. Please come and attend to these ladies with special care. They are the Alpha guests.” The receptionist said this to one of the VIP workers before she gave us a big smile and went out.


"Hello, mama, welcome to the elite salon. My name is Jane, and I will be at your service today.”. Jane was greeted with extra care, which I guess she was because she was told that we were the Alpha guests.

“Thank you so much, Jane. We would like to have a massage and then have a full body treatment before styling our hair.” Lisa explained.

“Okay, mams. Please have a seat. Let me get the place ready for you.” Jane said and left; only God knows where.

“Is everything okay with you, or is there anything more you need?”. Rose asked me.


“It’s fine”. I replied to her in a silent voice. I have never actually been to a salon or spa, so I have no experience with all this stuff.

“Peck of knowing the Alpha’s mate. Free VIP spa treatment.” Lisa said as she hummed to a tone.

“Sorry for the delay; it’s time for your messages. Please follow me.”. Jane, who came back, said as she led us into a room. She hands us towels and asks us to take off our clothes and wrap our bodies with the towel. After which, we were asked to each lie backwards on a slim bed, and an eye patch was given to us to put over our eyes.


After some minutes, two ladies came and started massaging my whole body. From my shoulders to my legs. It felt so good that I couldn’t stop myself from moaning. I could feel stress leaving my entire body. Now this is what it feels like to have a massage. After about forty-five minutes, to my dismay, they stopped the massage and asked us to enter the sunnah so that we could steam our bodies.

Since the sunnah is large enough to contain about seven to eight people, Rose, Lisa, and I entered inside together. We kept on gisting as we sat in the sunnah. At first, I was feeling very uncomfortable because of the heat, but within a few minutes, I felt very okay, and I was enjoying every moment of it. After about thirty minutes, it was time for body waxing and polishing.

Not to lie, I actually shed a tear or two when they were doing the body waxing for me. It was very, very painful. But it was worth it in the end because I now like how smooth and glowing my skin is.

For the next round, we hid pedicures before we decided to style our hair. After much thought, I decided to cut the wild tips of my hair and style it into a wavy form. When we were finally done with everything, I honestly could not recognize myself anymore. I just looked like a more beautiful version of myself.


“Well well. Look at you, Sophia. You are glowing. The Alphas are going to have a hard time resisting looking at you.”. Lisa screamed, causing a lot of people to stop and stare at us. Rose and I glare hard at her. Apart from people in the palace and a few other people, nobody yet knows that I am the alpha's mate.

“Oppoos!”. Lisa said as she put both of her palms over her mouth. We looked around and noticed that nobody was paying attention to us. I just hope that those who heated her did not take what she said to heart.

“One day, your mouth will put you in big trouble.” Rose queried Lisa as we made our way out of the salon. Since Rose and Lisa left their car parked in the palace, Derrick drove all of us back there so that they could get their car.


“Goodbye; see you when next we see you.”. Rose, Lisa, and I bid each other farewell once we reached the palace. I stood outside and waved at them until they drove off before I entered the house. I was actually very tired and hungry, although I enjoyed myself. We have actually been gone for about six hours. It was stressful, but worth it at the end of the day.

As I entered Alpha’s penthouse, I noticed everywhere it was quiet, so I guess the twins were in their office downstairs. I made my way straight to my room. I took off my shoes, and without taking off my dress, I lay down and immediately fell asleep.

It was not until two hours later that Jane came and woke me up and said it was time for dinner. I took a shower and then changed into a simple straight gown before I made my way downstairs. The twins were already seated at the dining table and were discussing among themselves. I cleared my throat in order to get their attention.


“O Sophia! Good evening”. They both greeted me at the same time saying the same thing. I seriously need to get used to them doing this.
