Chapter fifty four

“I am fine!. Sorry, I was lost in thought.” I apologized.

“No need to apologize, it's all good.” Xavier smiled at me.

“How was your night?.” Xiao asked the question that made me want to avoid them. I don't what to remember my display of foolishness.


“It was fine. Thanks for asking!.” I slowly uttered.


“Good! And about last night, we are sorry if we came too hard on you!”. Xiao apologized, looking sorrowfully. I don’t know why they are apologizing. I enjoy every bit of it even though the night was cut short thanks to someone.

“Yeah, we apologize. We will take things slowly from now. we won't rush you into things you are not ready for!.” Xavier murmured.


“What NO!”. I shouted. I can’t believe they are talking about going slow. To me, we are moving like a snail already so I don’t understand how slow they want to move now. I know that it is my fault we are moving this slowly because I was scared. Now I am regretting it. I would have been long enjoying my mates’ bed if not because I allowed fear to cloud my thoughts. Look at what it has brought me. I don’t even have an idea what my mates' bedroom looks like.

"you have not even seen them naked. even once!". Aliyah laminated.

"Shut up!". I fired at her.

"What? I am telling the truth. as if you don't want to see them naked too!". She fired back at me and we went on and on bicking at each other.

“What do you mean by no?.” Xavier asked, looking confused.

“I don’t want us to go slow. I am sorry that I fainted yesterday. It’s my first time experiencing such pleasure. I guess that’s why. We are already going to slow for my liking.” I whispered the last part to myself but they heard me.


“Too slow? Really? Would you like us to speed up things?.” Xiao winked at me.

“Yeah!”.

“O Little mate, don’t wish for things you can not handle.” Xavier advised.


“What makes you think I can not handle me?” I challenged Xavier. I am seriously tired of playing the waiting game.

“O!”. Xavier walks to me and wraps his hands around my waist and I wrap my around his neck. We kissed softly for a few minutes before we let go of each other.

Xiao was still standing by the counter looking at us. I walked to him and before I reached him he opened his and I jumped on him. He lifts me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. We kissed for about four minutes before he let me go.

Just then Jane entered the kitchen and immediately lowered her head to the ground when she noticed the presence of the Alphas.

“Good morning Alphas and Luna. Sorry to disturb you, but I want to announce to you that your breakfast is ready in the dining room.”

“Good Jane. Thank you. We will be there in a short while.” Xavier said with a small smile on his face. Jane went out of the kitchen after she gave me a wink. I need to avoid her for some days because she will start looking for ways to milk gossip out of me.



“We better go and have our breakfast now, after all we don't want it to get cold.” Xavier announced and all the three of us made our way to the dining room.

The breakfast consists of an apple pie, fruit frittata, omelette and bacon with egg. I wonder who is actually going to finish all this. All the time, the chef usually cooks different dishes at once and most of the time, we end up eating only a quarter portion out of all the food they have prepared.


I just had the bacon and fruit frittata for my breakfast. After which I kissed both of the twins before I left. I hurried downstairs because I wanted to avoid meeting Jane. I don’t have time for her gossip this morning.


“Going somewhere?” I turned to see Jane standing with her hand on akimbo.

“Jane!” I exclaimed.

“Yes it’s me Jane, you owe me a gist remember?”. Jane fumed at me.

“Of course I remember. And as much as I love to sit and fist you now, I can’t because.” I try to explain to the frowning Jane.

“And why is that?”. She questioned.

“Because I am already late.”. I explained to her. Jane looks as if she is not buying what I am telling her.

“Alright! Let’s say I believe your explanation. Promise me that you will host me when you are back”. Jane said as she brought out her pinky finger. Knowing Jane, she is not going to allow this to pass until I share the gist with her. Such a gossiper.

“I promise”. I said and brought out my own pinky finger and we made a pinky promise.


“Alright then, until you come back from school. Have a nice day!”. Jane wished before she hugged me. I hugged her back and left. I am already behind schedule. I am sure that Derrick must have been waiting for time for over twenty minutes now.

I went out and saw Derrick leaning against the car.

“Good morning Derrick and sorry for keeping you waiting”. I said to him out of courtesy.

“Good morning Mam, no problem I didn’t wait for long.” Derrick said as we both entered the car.

“So how was your night?”. Derrick asked, looking at me through the rare mirror.

“It was fine thank you”. I replied. I honestly don’t want to remember last night because I will recall the amazing moment I shared with my mates and not only that, but I will also recall how I foolishly fainted.

“I mean who is foolish enough to faint a lifter being fingered?.” I mentally scolded myself for such foolish behaviour.
