Chapter thirty four

The Alphas came forward as two guards followed behind them. The host opens the table that is covered with a table cover. On the table is a golden knife, a basin and other stuff I don’t know.

One of the guards handed over the knife to Xavier while he kept hold of the basin.

“You are to come forward one after the other.” The host said and the first guy Joseph stepped forward.


“Repeat after me.” She said and he nodded his hand.

“I, Joseph Douglas, promise to abide by the rules and regulations of this pack. I also promise to do my best to contribute to the development of this pack. And if I am ever caught breaking any of the rules, I accept the punishment that will be given to me.” Joseph repeated after the host and she asked him to step back. Next, Lukeman went forward with his oath.


“I, Lukeman, promise to abide by the rules and regulations of this pack. I also promise to do my best to contribute to the development of this pack. And if I am ever caught breaking any of the rules, I accept the punishment that will be given to me.” Lukeman repeated after the host and she asked him to step back and next it was Tori and then it was my turn.



“I Sophia Gray promise to abide by the rules and regulations of this pack. I also promise to do my best to contribute to the development of this pack. And if I am ever caught breaking any of the rules, I accept the punishment that will be given to me.” I repeated after the host and she asked me to step back.


After that, Xavier took the knife, cut his palm a little bit and then allowed the blood to drop into the basin. Then he passed the knife to Xiao who also did the same.

All four of us were then given a needle and we were to pierce a little of our finger and allow the blood to drop into the basin. Then the basin was set blaze and the whole pack started clapping their hands.

“Well then everyone. Presenting to you all the newest members of this pack. Joseph! Lukeman! Tori! and lastly Sophia!”. The host introduced us as we turned and waved at the cheering crowd. Out of the way, a band came forward to the front of the stage and started singing a welcoming song to us.


The Pack’s officials also came forward and congratulated us. When it was Xavier's turn to congratulate him, he tickled the inside of my hand when I gave him my hand to shake. I smiled and he turned it before he quickly moved away in order not to draw the attention of people to us. And when it was Xiao’s turn, he gave me a crease in my palm before he moved away. I love how they both make me feel their presence and support.


“Well then we all know what time is right?”. The host asked and the crowd kept echoing a positive response to her question although personally, I don’t know what she meant.

“What time is it?”. She asked again.

“It’s time to party”. The crowd shouted.


“That’s right. It’s time to party, so let the party begin”. She shouted and music started blasting out of the speakers. The crowd increased their scream and some started to dance. We were asked to go back to our seats. As we went down, people were congratulating us.

“Princess Sophia!”. I heard someone call my name. I only know one person who calls me by that name. Lisa! I tried calling to look around if I could see the direction where the voice came from. But sadly I wasn’t able to.

“BOO!!” Someone shouted at my back causing me to jump and I tried to catch my breath. I turned around and saw Lisa with a big smile on her face. I guess she is the culprit. “She will surely have the death of me one day,” I said to myself as I smiled back at her. It feels so good to see her.


“Lisa!” I screamed and hugged her.

“Wow Princess, I know you miss me but I don’t know you miss me this much,” Lisa said with a proud smile on her face.


“You have no idea. Where is Rose?”. I asked looking around to see if Rose was close by.

“She is somewhere around with her mate. By the way, congratulations to you. You are now an official member of the Sky Blue Pack” Lisa said.

“Thank you”. I happily said. If I had told you before that I would one day become a member of this great pack, I would have laughed. But here I am today. An official member of the pack. I sometimes thank the moon goddess that I was banished from my former pack. It was like a blessing in disguise to me. If not, I would have still been suffering at the hands of my parents and other bullies in the pack.


“You are welcome. Moreover, I love our outfits. You dress you up.” Lisa inquired. Trust Lisa to always notice one's outfit. She is also a stylist just like Amanda.

“Amanda did. I don’t know if you know her”. I said and Lisa's eyes immediately widened as if it was going to plug out.

“Amanda? As in Amanda the pack’s number one celebrity stylist who is also married to Beta?”.

“Yes, her!.” I responded wondering why she is making it a big deal.

“Omg! I am so jealous right now. I can’t believe you have been hanging out with Amanda. She is my mentor, I wish to be like her one day.” Lisa said.

“Okay. Good luck with your dreams, I will introduce you to her one day.” I said to Lisa who immediately hugged me.


“The newest member of the Pack!” Rose who is heading our way shouted. She hugged me tight as soon as she reached my front.


“Congratulations!”.

“Thank you, Rose”

“Hello! I am invisible or what?” Lisa acts offended because Rose didn't greet her.

“Am sorry did you hear anything? It sounds as if a frog is making noise”. Rose asked me as she continued to act as if she didn’t see Lisa standing next to me.

Lisa smacked Rose on her hand; “ I hope now you see somebody. And seriously a frog? Upon all things, you chose to call me a frog? Lisa lamented as she started to fake cry while Rose stuck her tongue at her.

I stood there looking at them laughing. This is the reason why I miss them.
