Chapter seventy three

***** Chapter twelve of Rogue to luna


Lucy's POV

Waking up, I feel a warm, hard chest underneath me. I cuddle closer to it, enjoying the warmth it provides me. After enjoying the warmth for a little bit, I look up and my eyes meet Asa's.
His green eyes are so beautiful, a forest green that goes well with his fresh woodsy scent.
I realize I'm staring, so I quickly put my head back into his chest. I feel him chuckle, the vibrating of his chest feeling amazing. I look up again and notice he is still staring. "You are so
beautiful, my love," Asa whispers into my hair. I blush a deep red and mutter a quiet thanks.

He chuckles again and lifts my face to meet his. He looks at my blushing face with a smirk, probably proud he can make me blush.

Asa leans down and gives me a quick kiss before getting up and getting ready in the bathroom.
I feel lonely with the loss of contact, but knowing he'll be out soon, my mood increases.
Once I hear the toilet flush, I go in to brush my teeth. We brush our teeth beside each other, making silly faces in the mirror. I laugh at the face he makes, and toothpaste goes flying into the mirror.
I look down embarrassed while
Asa laughs non-stop. I feel tears well up in my eyes, so mortified that I did that.

Noticing that I'm not laughing Asa quickly finishes brushing his teeth while I do the same.
When we are done, he turns and
looks me in the eye. "I wasn't laughing at you. I laughed because you were so cute when the toothpaste went in the mirror.

Don't worry, it's easy to clean up." As he says this, he easily wipes the toothpaste away with a towel.
"See, easy."
I nod my head, glad he didn't make a big deal out of it.
We walk back into the bedroom,
and Asa says, "I could feel your
emotions. Your embarrassment and sadness. It made me feel awful. I'm sorry for laughing."

I shake my head, him having no reason to apologize. "It's fine, I just overreacted."

"No, you didn't. I care about your feelings, they are important.
Never feel bad for feeling," Asa reassures.
I smile at him, and we just stare at
each other. "I'm still tired..." I mutter quietly, kind of nervous about how he's going to respond.

"Okay, how about we lay down and enjoy each other's company?"

Asa suggests, moving to lay down. I just nod and move with him, cuddling into his chest again.

As I lay there, Asa started running his hands through my hair. I moan at the feeling, his hands feeling wonderful.

"Don't give me any ideas, my love. Your moaning turns me on," Asa groans out, sounding like he is holding back.
I blush again, seemingly doing this often. I didn't mean to turn him on!
After apologizing, he continues to rub his hands through my hair, and me hold back my moans.
With his hands in my hair and my head on his chest, I fall back to sleep.


Lucy's POV

Breakfast with Asa's family feels different today. As we walk into the dining room, I don't have the urge to submit to everyone like I used to. I feel like I have almost equal power to his parents like we are close to the same rank.

I look at Asa in question, him not understand. I go up to his ear and whisper, "Why don't I feel like submitting to your parents like I usually do?"

He looks at me with realization, and a grin sits on his face.

"When I marked you, you were partially blessed by the Moon Goddess. You will be fully blessed when we finish the mating process."

Blushing, Asa and I continue on to the table to eat. I grab a plate and get myself an omelette and a biscuit, putting jelly on it.

I sit down and all the family members surround me. Nadia is the first to say something, "He marked you?!"

Ella starts jumping up and down with joy, "My babies are all grown up! I can't believe this. They grow up so fast." She wipes away a fake tear, looking to Asher to see his reaction.

Asher's face is still full of shock, not believing that his son marked me. "You did it? Wow.." That is all he can say.

I try to carry on eating, wanting to get the attention off of me.

"Yes, I marked her. But the important thing we need to talk about is how my birthday is next week," Asa points out. I gasp in shock. He never told me when his birthday was!

"We are passing down the
Alpha title to you. This is a big deal!l" Ella starts, "We are going to have a huge party, and the ceremony will be amazing and so professional! I can't wait!"

Alpha Asher laughs at his mate's excitement, and Asa starts shaking his head.

"I don't want it to be big, I just want it to be low-key."

"Can't promise anything!" Nadia chimes in.

I just keep eating my food, smiling at the family. They are so entertaining to watch!

Asa looks at me and asks, "Why are you smiling cutie?"

Nadia groans, "Keep your nicknames away from breakfast.

I'm trying to eat, you're going to make me sick."

I laugh at that and explain, "You guys are an entertaining bunch."

Asa nods his head, accepting "Can't promise anything!" Nadia chimes in.

I just keep eating my food, smiling at the family. They are so entertaining to watch!
Asa looks at me and asks, "Why are you smiling cutie?"

Nadia groans, "Keep your nicknames away from breakfast.

I'm trying to eat, you're going to make me sick."

I laugh at that and explain, "You guys are an entertaining bunch."

Asa nods his head, accepting my answer. "My family is not entertaining, it's crazy. But whatever works for you," he shrugs with a smirk as Lilly sends

Him a glare.

I smile at everyone. I'm finally a part of a family.

"Finally!"
