Chapter sixty one

I managed to reach the front of the nursery building before I heard someone shout my name.

“Luna!”

I turned to see if the ladies from yesterday were walking towards me with a big smile on her face.

“Good Morning Luna!.” She greeted me.


“Morning em..” I could not actually remember what her name was.


“Stacy. My name is Stacy.” She introduced.


“Morning Stacy.” I greeted her correctly.



“I must Luna, I was surprised when I heard that that you were the Alpha's mate. To think that some of us insulted you to your face yesterday. My goodness! That is very shameful.” Stacy commented.


“No, it's fine. It was just an honest guess. Don’t worry, I won’t hold it against you!.” I assured her before I excused myself.

As I passed by everyone, they greeted me with extra expectations. I sighed. Today is going to be a really busy day.


“Sophia!.” Jennifer rushed and hugged me as soon as I entered the classroom. Perplexed at her behaviour, I hugged her back.

“O my goodness Luna! I am sorry. It is literally inappropriate for me to do this. I am sorry!.” Jennifer apologized. She let go of me and moved back a little. This is the exact thing I was fearing, I didn’t want them to start treating me especially just because I am the Alpha's Mate.


“It’s fine Jennifer. Good morning”. I greeted her as I set my bag on my desk and sat down.


“Morning to you too Luna. I am happy to see you today. You don’t know how scared I was yesterday when I came back for lunch and found out that you were lost. It is good to see you.” Jennifer said.


The rest of the day went with almost everyone in the school coming in to greet me. During the lunch period, the school’s director sent it to me. Turns out he said something provoking to the Alphas yesterday. And so he is afraid they might fire him. The director wants me to beg on his behalf. I told him I would see what I could do and left.


Finally it is closing time. I came out expecting to see Derrick but to my surprise, it is Amanda that is waiting for me.


“Amanda, what a surprise to see you here!”. I chanted out as I approached her. Some of her fans surrounded her trying to get her autograph. She attended to all of them before she turned to me.

“Sorry to keep you waiting! We live to please our fans.” Amanda apologized.

“It’s fine. All good.” I commented as we entered her car.

“Did you choose this outfit yourself?.” Amanda asked me.

“Yes. Why?”. I asked. I know there is no way she is not going to talk about my outfit.

“Bravo to you. It was a great match.” She complimented me.

“Thank you!.” I smiled broadly. It’s not every day you hear a fashion icon like Amanda compliment you.


“No problem. You don’t have to worry about choosing your outfits yourself any time soon. You will be appointed a personal stylist.” Amanda commented.

“Okay. That’s nice!”. I actually hated the fact that I had to think of what to wear all the time. I noticed that Amanda was not drinking in the direction of the palace. So I decided to ask her where we were headed.

“Where are we heading to? This is not the direction to the palace.”

“Yes. I remember that I owe you a cup of coffee. So we are going to get it today.” Amanda explained. After that, we drove in silence until we reached a cafe.

We alighted from the car, and as we entered the cafe, the workers instantly recognized us and so we were led into the Alpha’s lounge. Turns out every public building in this pack owes a private lounge meant for the Alphas.


We were served our coffee with some donuts.

“Why aren’t you yet mates to the Alphas?” Amadeus asked out of nowhere, causing me to choke on my drink. I started to cough.


“Sorry I don’t mean to be blunt about it, I am just curious.” Amanda added.


“It’s fine!”. I managed to say when I stopped coughing.

“So..” Amanda said as she sipped her drink.

“Well, I don’t know!”. I truthfully answered.

“What do you mean you don’t know? Amanda asked me.


“Well we never talked about it!”. The twins have never said anything about mating to me and I on the other hand am too shy to bring up the talk.

“O I don’t have anything to say about that. Although I am quite surprised that you are yet to mate. Normally, when two mates find each other, they end up mating within the first week.” Amanda explained and that got me thinking of reasons why the twins are yet to mate me.

“Do you think there is a problem somewhere?”. I asked her.

“Well no, I just have a feeling that the twins think you are not yet ready for it seeing the situation you meet. They feel as if you are not ready for it yet.” Amanda explained and her logic is quite right. I mean the twins apologize to me after every intimate moment we share.

“But I am not complaining, I never said I am not ready for it.” I grumbled.


“Well sadly they don’t think the same.!” Amanda sighed.

“So what should I do?.” I asked her and Amanda’s eyes immediately lightened up. It was as if she was waiting for me to ask her.

“You have to seduce them into it,” Amanda stated.

“And how will I do that?.” I asked her.


“O that's easy”.

And just like that, Amanda went on explaining to me how to make the Alpha's mate me. And since their birthday is next week, we decided I should seduce them on their birthday.
