Chapter 934 Simply Fraud

Theodore hung up the phone, and Sandra's screams echoed through the room.

A cold, thin smile played on his lips.

She dared to plot against him, so he would make her pay double.

"Hey, Brown, let Ramirez know that his daughter, whom he couldn't bother to discipline, has been taken care of.

She needs to learn how to be a decent person."

Lawton looked at Theodore's cold, handsome face and nodded repeatedly.

He only breathed a sigh of relief after watching Theodore enter the elevator.

Sandra had a knack for repeatedly angering Theodore, thinking she could outsmart him every time. She must have thought he was a fool.

Well, she deserved it now.

Theodore took the elevator downstairs, walked through the hotel lobby, and strode out of the hotel.

Jack was waiting with the car, and he quickly opened the back door when he saw Theodore.

"Mr. Reynolds."

Theodore bent down and got into the car.

After Jack got in, Theodore sent him a location, instructing him to pick up Phoebe from Jett's place first.

The car slowly drove away, and no one noticed Bianca and her friends talking on the hotel's second-floor terrace.

Bianca glanced down and saw Theodore getting into the car. She frowned.

Wasn't Theodore supposed to be drunk and escorted out?

But he didn't look drunk at all when he got into the car.

She interrupted her friend's chatter and walked quickly into the banquet hall, just in time to see Lawton whispering something to Tate.

Tate's expression turned to shock, and he staggered, glaring at Lawton with a mix of anger and urgency.

Lawton, however, was unfazed and left gracefully.

Tate didn't care about his loss of composure and called Tatum over.

The two hurriedly left the banquet hall.

Bianca didn't know what had happened, but her instincts told her it wasn't good.

She quickly walked towards the door, only to have her wrist grabbed.

She turned to see Brian standing beside her. "Where are you rushing off to?"

Bianca glanced around. The guests seemed to have noticed Tate's unusual behavior and were now watching them.

She lowered her voice. "I think something happened to Sandra. You stay here and keep the guests calm. I'll go check it out."

Brian looked around, too. "Alright, you go. I'll handle things here. Call me if anything happens."

Bianca didn't waste any time. She lifted her dress and quickly followed.

She reached the hallway just in time to see Tatum and Tate rushing into the elevator.

She ran to the elevator doors and saw the numbers stop at the eighteenth floor.

She quickly got into another elevator.

When she arrived at the eighteenth floor, she heard crying mixed with angry shouts from the end of the hallway.

The situation was dire. She lifted her dress and ran over.

The hotel room door was wide open.

She peeked inside and saw Sandra sitting on the bed, wrapped in a blanket, looking disheveled.

Three men stood by the bed.

One look at these men, and it was clear they were the type who frequented nightclubs, wearing nothing but floral shorts—disgusting.

Tate was furious. "Sandra, look at what you've done. If this gets out, what am I supposed to do?"

Sandra's eyes were red from crying. "Dad, I was set up. I didn't call them. They ruined my reputation. I want to call the police."

"Ms. Ramirez, you called us. Don't say things like that. If you think we didn't serve you well, we won't charge you. But don't slander us," one of the men said flippantly.

Sandra glared at him with red eyes. "I don't even know you. How could I have called you?"

"We've seen all kinds of women in nightclubs. They all act innocent when caught. If you didn't call us, how would we be here? Didn't you book this hotel room?"

Sandra's face turned pale and then red, her chest heaving with anger.

The hotel room wasn't booked by her; Tatum had booked it in advance, giving one key card to Theodore and keeping one for herself.

If Theodore drank the spiked drink, he wouldn't be able to leave the hotel immediately and would need to stay overnight, giving them a chance.

But when she swiped the key card to enter, Theodore wasn't there, and instead, there were three sleazy men. She had been tricked by Theodore.

Her mind raced, and her face turned ugly.

Tate saw her expression and slapped her across the face. "Disgraceful! Get dressed and go home."

Sandra fell onto the bed from the slap. Bianca quickly stepped in to stop the enraged Tate. "Dad, the guests are downstairs. We can't make a scene, or Sandra's reputation will be ruined."

"You're still trying to cover for her? Did she think about that?" Tate was livid. "She's brought shame to the Ramirez family."

Tatum had been silent since entering the room, shocked by how things had unfolded.

She finally found her voice and said to the three men watching the drama unfold, "Get out now, or we'll call the police."

One of them smiled politely but insincerely. "Mrs. Ramirez, we've been working all night. You can't just send us away without paying. How about a million dollars?"

Bianca's eyes widened in disbelief. "A million dollars? For you guys? You're practically extorting us."

Even though the Ramirez family wasn't short on money, they couldn't be taken for fools.

Tate's brows furrowed deeply, feeling more and more disappointed in Sandra for bringing such disgrace. He said sternly, "Bianca, get rid of them."

Bianca bit her lip, feeling uneasy. "Dad, I don't have that much on my card. Mom, can you cover for Sandra?"

If it were tens of thousands, she could manage, but a million dollars was out of the question.

The three men exchanged glances and sneered. "The Ramirez family can't even come up with a million dollars? How about a promissory note, and we'll come to your office tomorrow?"

Tate was furious, feeling a sharp pain in his chest. He glanced at Bianca, who avoided his gaze.

He picked up his phone and called his secretary. "Bring a million-dollar check here, immediately!"

After hanging up, Tate glared at the three men. "The money is coming. Follow me."

The three men, having achieved their goal, looked at Sandra mockingly. "Ms. Ramirez, if you need us again, feel free to contact us. We'll give you a discount."

"Get out!" Tatum shouted, pointing at the door. The three men shrugged, picked up their clothes, and left.

With the door closed, only the mother and her daughters remained in the room.
