Chapter 102. Tape Record
**(Aunty Milla’s Perspective)**
Milla all dressed up like a special secret agent with a dark blazer and sunglasses.
On that sunny day, she was prepared to meet the Igor brothers. They were Grigori Igor and Aleksei Igor.
Ever since they were released from jail, Milla had told them to meet her on the day she would arrange. And when that day finally came, they would meet up to discuss their future plan soon.
She had been careful these days. She had asked a private investigator for a little help to release those two men. That male investigator was the same person she used to hire. And he surely had a way with the dark world. He could always help Milla to get what she wanted.
But what she truly wanted would be the end of Daniel Wilson.
And in order to fulfill her mission, she needed these Russian men to help her. They had something that might destroy the reputation of everyone in the Wilson family.
Milla was so happy on the day she heard from Grigori about what he knew. But surely, it took Milla nine years before she could release him from jail. And along with his cousin, Aleksei who had just thrown in jail as well a few weeks ago.
That day, they met on the rooftop of a mega restaurant in the city. Those two Russian men walked toward her, looking all masculine and tough.
“Hello, dear. How are you, Grigori?” She murmured as she thrusted her hand for a handshake with him.
Grigori grinned at her. He looked brighter than the first time she met him nine years ago. It was because he had been craving to breathe the fresh again. He looked so happy to be able to see the sun that day.
And then he received her handshake and nodded. “I am very fine and happy to meet you again, Milla Moss.”
Afterward, Milla glanced at the other man, who looked skinnier but muscular than Grigori. His name was Aleksei.
“And hello to you, Aleksei Igor,” Milla greeted him in a friendly manner.
“Thank you for helping us out from jail,” Aleksei said as he received her hand for a handshake as well.
“You’re very welcome. But remember, our meeting here is strictly business. I don’t want any of you to disappoint me like nine years ago,” Milla warned them.
Grigori chuckled out. “Damn those days. Daniel and his men are the worst people. If I was not too reckless, I would have been fled out with the money.”
“And you would be able to bring me back my niece in a good time,” Milla muttered.
“About your niece, how is she now? I heard she lost her memories after the incident. I feel sorry for her,” Grigori said carefully.
Milla crossed her arms and said, “Well, she’s fine now. But I don’t like that she has regained her memories of Daniel. She’s been staying at his place. I want her back.”
“Then you have to make Daniel angry for sure,” Aleksei added.
Milla smirked. “And you both will help me to face his wrath.”
Afterward, Grigori shouted, “It will be easier if you give us more time. We have a secret tape that recorded Bancroft’s dark secret in the past.”
“Bancroft? Daniel’s father?” Milla asked to make sure. She had heard about his dad once from these Russian men.
Grigori and Aleksei nodded concurrently.
And then Aleksei said, “Mister Bancroft Wilson has the worst secret of all. If you destroy him, Daniel will be destroyed too.”
“And we need to get the tape in Russia,” Grigori told her.
“How many days you need to come back here in New York?” Milla wondered.
“As soon as possible,” Aleksei said.
“Yeah, we probably only need three or four days,” Grigori murmured.
“Fine, take your time and come back here for good,” Milla said firmly. “Because you will have to do your dirty laundry.”
Grigori and Aleksei grinned at her. They looked excited to do this secret mission. It was all because they simply had the same ambition and motivation to destroy the Wilson family, and especially to bring down Daniel from his almighty throne in the business world.
Soon after, Milla waved her farewell at them. She let them find that tape, wherever it was stored in Russia.
***
After Milla and those two Russian men had talked about their wicked plan, she had to wait for further information from them. She had been waiting patiently at home.
While Estelle and Patrick were busied working on their own business, she was waiting for a phone call.
It had been three days since Grigori and Aleksei went to Russia. She had not been informed what they were up to.
She wanted to get her revenge on Daniel, while those two men preferred to get their revenge for everyone in the Wilson family. She knew this devilish plan would be very dangerous. She could get into jail like them if she was not careful enough. But she didn’t care anyway. She had to indulge her selfish ego.
And she had been wondering what kind of dark secret that Mister Bancroft Wilson had in the past that could bring him down for good. Nevertheless, Grigori and Aleksei made sure that Mister Bancroft’s dark secret was very evil.
That afternoon, Milla had just done making a warm cup of black coffee. And then she got a text message from Aleksei.
She immediately went into her bedroom before she read his text message. She had to be careful not to make her brother, Patrick got suspicious of her quietness these days.
Once she sat down at the edge of her bed, she opened the new text message that she had just received.
**Aleksei Igor:**
*We got the tape. We were on the way to the airport now. We will arrive in New York by tomorrow morning.*
Milla smirked when she read his text message. She felt the roller coaster ride inside her stomach.
And the next minute, she received another new text message. But this time, it was from Grigori. She wondered what he said.
**Grigori Igor:**
*I have sent you an email. Open the attachment file. And watch it for yourself.*
Milla narrowed her eyebrows wonderingly.
“What does he mean?” She muttered.
The image of Daniel and Sienna hugged each other suddenly came across her mind. And the image followed by the conversation she had the other day with Grigori and Aleksei on the rooftop.
She sighed heavily and wondered, “What did he send me?”
She needed to open her laptop to view the attachment. And then she downloaded the attachment file from the email that he sent to her.
For a second, she sat at her desk while watching the email he sent without any text. It was just a white blank screen with an attachment file.
She wondered if that was the tape he talked about. Her heart pounded nervously.
And then, her finger immediately clicked the file to open it.
It was a video with a duration of less than five minutes.
When she first opened it, the sound of that video was vague. The camera also looked blurry in the beginning. But after a few seconds, she started seeing something.
Some people that dressed in shabby clothes were crying out loud while the others were murmuring noisily. She wondered what was happening. Then she noticed those people were speaking in Russian.
And soon, she saw a familiar face among those people. She knew that he was Daniel’s father. He was Bancroft Wilson. He looked much younger in this video.
Bancroft was smoking his cigarette while watching those people cried and whined at him. And he was not alone. His bodyguards who were dressed in all black suits were all there to guard him.
She saw a wooden board in the area that said; *The property of Wilson Enterprises.*
At first, she didn’t understand what was happening in the video, but soon, she gasped the air. She was surprised to learn that these poor-looking people were the owner of that land.
Bancroft tried to sabotage the land from them. He forced those people to give out the land for him to sell.
Some people that tried to fight him off, were being smashed down on the ground by his bodyguards.
Bancroft wanted to empower the land. He had a very devilish method to get rid of those people who didn’t agree with him.
And when the gunshot was being triggered, Milla flinched and almost jumped out of her seat. She was terribly surprised when his mafia people shot those poor men in their heads.
And the gun sound made her startled though. Bancroft ordered his men to kill those poor.
They had been killing those poor people in Russia, so they could gain the land. And they only ended up killing the rebels.
“MILLA! WHAT WAS THAT?” Patrick shouted out behind her bedroom door.
She immediately closed her laptop. And then she saw Patrick opened the door and gazed around her bedroom to see if everything was alright.
“What was that?” He asked again. He looked bewildered. “I thought I heard a gunshot.”
“Hey, Patrick!” Milla tried to look calm. “I was just watching an action movie. But it’s boring. So, I turn off my laptop.”
“Oh, really?” He baffled. “What’s gotten into you? I don’t know you like action genre now.”
Milla shrugged her shoulders. “Well, I just want to try something new.”
Thereafter, Patrick smiled at her and left.
