Chapter 20. Shopping Spree (+18)
“Good morning, sleepyhead,” a masculine voice greeted her.
She ignored the voice and yawned lazily. She didn’t want to open her eyes yet. But when the rough sliding sound of a curtain was being opened, her heart skipped a beat. She instantly woke up, surprised.
Daniel was standing right in front of the bed. The hot sunlight came striking into the bedroom after he opened the curtain.
She moaned as she stole a glance at him. “Ugh, what time is it?”
When she just realized where she was, her mind was picking up alertly where her memories left off. She quickly sat down on the bed, trying to regain her consciousness.
“Wait… this is… I’m in…” she was struggled to arrange the words out of her mind.
He was a psycho kidnaper. And he had kidnaped her yesterday.
She messed up her hair and muttered, “Gosh, I’m being kidnapped.”
Daniel sighed for a second. Then he said to her, “Get up now, Sienna. You didn’t have dinner last night. I don’t want you to get sick, so…” he approached her on the bed and dragged her wrist forcefully, “Come on.”
“No, let me go!” She was fighting him back. She didn’t want him to touch her so freely. “Don’t touch me, you lunatic psycho!”
He let go of her wrist and watched her sharply. He was mad that she didn’t want to be obedient to him.
“First thing in the morning, after we have breakfast, we will go shopping for your clothes downtown,” he informed her firmly.
She shook her head and snapped out cynically, “For how long you will keep me as your puppet in this damn house, huh?”
“As long as I desire you,” he simply answered her.
“Gosh, you’re such a terrible person. Do you think I’m your toy?” Sienna barked at him peevishly. “I told you, I want to go home!”
“Stop whining like a little child,” he snapped back. “You will do as I say. I’m your husband.”
She chuckled in disbelief when he said that. “No, you are not my husband!”
“Don’t tempt me,” he grimaced.
Whenever he clenched his teeth and his jaw harden, her heart skipped a beat. She was scared of his cold temperament. But eventually, she always fought him back.
She tried to argue again, “Please, I just want…”
Daniel suddenly crawled into the bed. Then he grabbed her legs forcefully to drag her down on the carpet floor.
“Get dress. And you can throw it away once I buy you the new one,” he demanded her.
She flinched. “What did you say? How could you ever think like that? My dress is…”
She was about to say how valuable her black dress was. It was one of a few rare dresses she collected in her wardrobe. How could he think so low of her belonging?
“Damn it! Ugh…” she moaned painfully when he finally put her down on the floor. She finally got out of the bed.
He quickly threw the black dress into her face and demanded her to wear it. She was pouting. But eventually, she went to the bathroom to change her clothes.

She needed about five minutes before she walked out of the bathroom. Daniel was waiting for her impatiently. He kept being bossy to her.
Soon, she followed him walked downstairs. Once she saw the view around the mansion, she almost fainted. She was surprised to see how big this place was. The golden interior also looked extravagantly glamorous. She was gawking the whole time.
Until Daniel woke her from her reverie, she finally followed him to walk to the dining room. There were a few servants, welcoming them. They all wore a black and white uniform, just like the people who worked for the noble aristocrats in Europe.
She wondered how rich Daniel was to have everything in his grasp. But then she remembered what Maddie once told her about the big rumor; his family was a Romanian mafia. That would explain everything if that was the truth. But everything was still a huge mystery for her to understand.
“Sit down and eat your food,” he demanded her again.
She sighed, annoyed. Then she quickly sat down in front of him.
The breakfast menu made her stomach growled pathetically. The tuna salad surely looked delicious for her hunger problem. Since she had not eaten anything last night, her stomach kept on growling. She hoped Daniel wouldn’t notice the quiet sound that her stomach made.
While eating the food, she could feel his eyes lingered on her face. She felt uncomfortable actually when he did that. But she had to save her energy to fight him later. She was still planning on running away from this place. Maybe she could do it once Daniel brought her to downtown.
Once she had done with the breakfast, she drank the warm sweet tea in one gulp.
Afterward, some men who dressed in a formal black suit came to escort them outside. She walked with them to the terrace.
Finally, she could see the bright sky again. She felt the sun kissed her pale skin so warmly. She could take a deep breath comfortably in the outdoor.
Daniel noticed the slight happiness that crossed her face. He immediately shouted out, “Feel the sun, Baby? You should see the local island here. I’m sure you’ll be happier.”
She was surprised when he disturbed her peaceful moment. She began to notice that Daniel was pretty conscientious of his surroundings, especially when dealing with people. He was basically a business person, so he must be good at building a relationship with people. But that also made her felt worried that he might read her mind easily.
She pretended to clear her throat and said, “Whatever. I don’t care.”
Daniel chuckled for a second. Then he quickly dragged her arm and demanded her to get into his navy-blue sedan car. While the four bodyguards went separately from them. They got into a black sedan car.
While sitting down next to the driver’s seat, Sienna was contemplating about one thing. She had not seen Hamuza anywhere. She wondered where that big Nigerian man went away.
When Daniel just got into the car, Sienna asked away, “Where is your bodyguard? I haven’t seen Hamuza in the mansion.”
As he turned out the car’s engine, Daniel answered her curiosity, “He’s in New York right now. Didn’t I tell you last night?”
“What…” and in a flip of a switch, she suddenly recalled what he said to her. “He is with Jonathan? You said…”
“Yes, I make your beloved boyfriend go to work even during the weekend,” he smirked as if winning a great victory. “He really wants to get a position in my company. I give him what he wants, and now I have what I want. That seems fair.”
Sienna chuckled sarcastically. She couldn’t believe Daniel was this selfish person.
“He doesn’t even have a clue that you are kidnapping me! Is this what you want? Torturing me as your play toy?” She snapped infuriatedly.
Daniel silently smirked as he said, “I told Hamuza to be my representative to meet some clients in New York. And I have Jonathan come with him if he wants to get a plus point from me.”
“So deceitful,” Sienna muttered.
He stole a glance at her while still smirking, “Deceitful? Look who’s talking here.”
She narrowed her eyebrows, bewildered.
Before she would bark annoyingly at his face, Daniel suddenly pulled down the brake and pressed down the gas pedal. She almost got a heart attack when he drove out so fast from the mansion’s driveway.
***
It was around eight in the morning when the car arrived in downtown. There were only a few fashion stores that had opened early.
He opened the car’s door for her. She carefully got out of the car. Her eyes stared out at the boutique’s window display across from where she was standing still. She knew all the clothes that were put on sale in there would be extravagantly expensive.
She had never stepped a foot in this district before. She felt so awkward when Daniel dragged her arms to walk with him.
She quickly held him from approaching the boutique. “Wa… wait. Are we… are we going to enter that store?”
“What? You don’t like the dresses there?” He stole a glance at the mannequins inside the window display. Those mannequins were wearing summer dresses.
She was gawking awkwardly. “No, I think this place doesn’t suit me.”
He chuckled in disbelief at her. “Doesn’t suit you? Baby, you once spent three of my credit cards to buy almost all the clothes sold in the boutiques of this district.”
“What? Three credit cards? That’s crazy! I had never done such a thing!” She exclaimed, hugely surprised.
Daniel didn’t want to waste the time by arguing with her at the edge of the pavement. “Come on…”
She held back his grasp and shouted out, “You said your wife was shopping spree with your money, right? So, why don’t you just lend me your wife’s dress?”
He paused to look sharply at her eyes. “Since you disappeared during those years, I sent out all of your clothes to my personal storage room in the island. It would take some days to have your belongings delivered to the mansion.”
She blinked anxiously. “Oh, God… this is so terrible.”
“Just pick some clothes and let’s get it done with,” he demanded firmly.
This time, she couldn’t walk away. He forced her to enter the boutique with him.
The two bodyguards followed them inside, while the other two would be waiting outside.
Daniel talked to a female clerk in the boutique. On the other side, Sienna was exploring some clothes in the clothing display racks. She stole a glance at some price tag that almost gave her a terrible heart attack.
She was grasping for the fresh air once she noticed it. The price of a blouse in this store was the same amount as her double payment as a local librarian. That was just insane. She got a panic attack just by seeing this boutique.
Afterward, the female clerk gave her some options. She showed her some fashion style she could choose. She would want to go for the casual ones. She didn’t want to look extravagant with the sparkling dress.
When she went into the changing room, she saw her reflection in the mirror.
“God, what is wrong with my life?” She muttered sadly.
Her eyes observed some clothes that the female clerk gave to her. These shirts and pants might look ordinary, but the price was just beyond her imagination.
She tried one set of the clothes; a long sleeve blue shirt and a black skirt. The style made her looked kind of like an employee of the month. She thought it was not so bad.
She unbuttoned the shirt to change into another style, but then she got panicking when the door was opened. She totally forgot to lock it.
She was tremendously surprised when Daniel entered the room. She quickly covered her chest that half-exposed after she unbuttoned the shirt.
“What the fricking hell you think you’re doing?” She whispered low since she didn’t want the female clerk to find out that he was sneaking in. She didn’t want to make a scene.
Nevertheless, she felt embarrassed when his eyes kept lingering quietly on her chest.
“Mind where you’re staring at, you psycho pervert,” she snapped sarcastically.
Then he walked closer to her, making her anxious.
“Don’t…” she walked backward until her back hit the mirror.
She closed her eyes tightly when he stood right in front of her. She could feel his fresh lemonade breath swooshing on her cheek.
She heard him whispering, “I just want to see what does it take you so long.”
She carefully opened her eyes to see him again. His eyes were staring sharply at her.
“I can do my own damn thing. So, get out now,” she warned him.
“You don’t threaten me, Sienna,” his eyes looked solemn. Then his hand rested up on the surface of the mirror behind her.
“Alright…” her eyes challenged him in return. “So, stop being such a pervert.”
He grimaced infuriatedly. And in no second, he grabbed her jaw with his strong hand. His lips landed hard on hers, electrifying her womanhood almost instantly. He pushed her body on the cold surface of the mirror. She could feel his manhood harden against her warm body.
She moaned pathetically when he kept pressing his lips harder on hers. She tried to push his shoulders to back away, but she struggled.
When he finally released her, then he whispered, “I told you didn’t I?”
She looked back at him, shuddering and out of breath.
He tickled her skin with his words, “Don’t tempt me.”
