Chapter 110. Cold Revenge

The following day, on Sunday morning, Sienna received a phone call from Estelle. Her cousin told her that Aunty Milla just came home late yesterday. And just like what Estelle had predicted, her mom behaved strangely when she told her about Sienna’s pregnancy.
Thereafter, Sienna asked for Daniel’s permission to visit her home. She only told him that she missed her dad. And she wanted to have a simple breakfast with her dad before Monday.
However, she didn’t expect Daniel to be so caring for her. He was persistent to drive her there by himself.
But on the way to her home, Daniel suddenly received a phone call from his assistant. Hamuza told him that there was an urgent meeting among the Wilson family.
Sienna immediately thought that it must have been related to Mister Bancroft. Yesterday, Mister Bancroft looked pretty restless after he was done talking with Daniel in the study room.
Even Sienna didn’t know for sure what they were talking about, but she had a feeling it could be related to the vengeance that Grigori and Aleksei wanted to do to this mafia family.
Meanwhile, she had a pretty good time in the kitchen with Ms. Wilson. She was a very nice and humble person to be around with. Sienna learned a new cooking receipt from Ms. Wilson. She taught her well how to make an Italian delicious creamy pasta.
During the car trip, Daniel kept on stealing a glance at her. She wondered why he looked uneasy at the time. And then she asked away, “Daniel, what’s wrong?”
“I’m worried for you, Baby,” he said as he reached out her hand for a slight kiss.
Sienna then pinched her eyes bafflingly. “What are you worried about?”
“You. I’m very worried about your condition every single time,” Daniel murmured. He was still holding her hand lovingly.
“Don’t be. I will be fine. It’s just going to be a little family reunion. I miss my dad. And that’s all,” she said assuredly.
But she was not entirely honest to him. She had another plan for why she had to back home. She wanted to greet Aunty Milla by herself. She had to know that Aunty Milla wouldn’t do a stupid thing after knowing she was pregnant with Daniel’s baby.
After Daniel kissed her palm hand once again, then he said, “Okay, I promise I will drop you, and then I will quickly come back to you during lunch break.”
Sienna nodded. “Okay, good.”

After Daniel had dropped her at home, Sienna entered the terrace nervously. Her heart was racing uneasily ever since she kept imagining Aunty Milla’s face inside her head. She also imagined how Aunty Milla would react when they met each other.
Estelle greeted her at the entrance door. She was quiet at first, then she sighed heavily.
“How is it?” Sienna wondered. “How is your mom doing after she heard that I…”
“She’s in shock, of course,” Estelle shouted after.
Sienna took a deep breath as her eyes stole a glance at the gap in the door.
Estelle then invited her to come in. As they walked into the foyer, Sienna saw her dad was there in the dining room. He was reading a newspaper while enjoying a warm cup of black coffee.
“Sienna! How are you today, darling?” Mister Patrick greeted her excitedly as usual.
Sienna waved her hand at him. “Hey, dad. I come here to see you and…” she bit her lips before she said again, “and Aunty Milla.”
As he turned the newspaper page, then he spoke, “We just told Milla yesterday that you’re pregnant. We’re going to have a new family member.”
When she saw her dad was smiling widely, that was unexpected. She thought her dad was still angry at her for hiding the secret from him. But her dad looked easy-going. And he was very supportive of her condition.
She felt lucky, but at the same time, she felt weird that her dad didn’t even try to show his resentment toward her.
Soon after, she heard footsteps sound from across the room. It was Aunty Milla.
When they finally met face to face again, Sienna gulped down her saliva nervously.
After Aunty Milla stopped by at the dining table, she looked at Sienna peevishly. Somehow, Sienna could already read her aunt’s emotion. She looked angry and emotional against Sienna.
“Milla, here you are finally after night clubbing with some friends in the city yesterday,” Mister Patrick teased her.
Sienna stared back and forth between her dad and her aunt.
“Well, I couldn’t believe it that I came back home to hear very surprising news from Sienna,” Aunty Milla muttered while stealing a glance at Sienna.
Mister Patrick folded the newspaper and put it down on the table. Then he stared up at Aunty Milla and said, “I hope you don’t mind helping take care of my pregnant daughter.”
Aunty Milla crossed her arms defensively. She half smirked.
Then all of a sudden, Aunty Milla confronted Sienna, “I heard everything. You finally told your dad and Estelle that you are married to Daniel Wilson.”
Sienna flinched. She felt restless when her aunt said that boldly. Her dad was the only one that had not known about Aunty Milla’s past relationship with Daniel.
Mister Patrick glanced at them bewilderingly. “Did you already know before I told you yesterday?”
Aunty Milla smirked again. “Don’t forget, Patrick. My ex-husband was a professional investigator.”
But obviously, Aunty Milla lied about that. The investigator that she hired was not her ex-husband at all. And it was all too complicated to be told here.
She also looked angrier whenever Mister Patrick gave his support for Sienna’s marriage with Daniel, although he was still hurt that Sienna was hiding it from him before. However, he cared for Sienna’s baby.
Thereafter, before the real conversation began, Aunty Milla joined their yummy breakfast.

In the backyard, Sienna, Estelle, and Aunty Milla sat down together at the bench.
Estelle was impatient to start the discussion. She looked at her mom peevishly. “How could you lie to me after all this time, Mom?”
Aunty Milla crossed her arms ignorantly. She stared away from them to look at the green yard and lavenders in the back of the house.
“And Uncle Patrick doesn’t even know yet about your story in the past with Daniel!” Estelle shouted out again.
Aunty Milla stared back at her finally. Then she snapped back, “Shut up, Estelle! It’s entirely my business, not yours! I can handle it. I am handling it right now…”
“How? By doing the vengeance plan that you once told me?” Sienna confronted her.
“Grigori and Aleksei have sent the footage clip to Daniel,” then she smirked. “It’s just the beginning of the plan. We will see how they react once the clip is exposed…”
“Mom! You can be thrown into jail! Are you out of your mind?!” Estelle barked out.
Sienna shouted after, “I think you need to retreat yourself from this stupid vengeance plan of yours, Aunty.”
Aunty Milla chuckled out. She didn’t look scared at all.
“Daniel and his men are doing something behind the scene. You need to be prepared if he will come at you. Daniel has a very bad temper. It won’t be good if he…”
“If I have tested his patience? Is that so?” Aunty Milla snapped quickly. “Well, I intend to make him tremendously angry, Sienna. He should feel how is it to feel suffocated!”
Sienna and Estelle exchanged a glance. They were worried about Aunty Milla’s craziness.
Suddenly, they heard a footstep sound. When they glanced at the terrace door to see who was coming closer, they gawked in a huge surprise.
It was Daniel Wilson.
Sienna almost got a heart attack. Daniel and Aunty Milla met face to face like this after a very long time.
“Da… Daniel, you come early!” Sienna snarled out.
Then Daniel said, “I come to pick you up, Baby.”
When he glanced at Estelle and Aunty Milla, he was quiet for a second.
Soon, he murmured, “Milla Moss, we finally meet again. How are you holding up?”
Aunty Milla was still gawking. As if she was seeing a ghost, she was hugely surprised at the arrival of Daniel Wilson here.
And then she said, “I… I am perfectly fine.”
Daniel suddenly smirked and said, “Good, because you better stop whatever you’re planning on me.”
Aunty Milla stared cautiously at him. She slightly gulped down her saliva nervously.
“I know everything. You hired my enemies. And together, you all threaten me with the past footage of my father,” Daniel said firmly.
Sienna remembered that Daniel said he went to join the urgent meeting with his family earlier. And maybe they were discussing this matter.
“Trust me, Milla. Your revenge on me will not end well,” he threatened her in return. “I don’t care if you are a family to my wife, but if you will do harm to her and my people, I will bring justice to you.”
Sienna and Estelle held their breath when Daniel said that daringly. While Aunty Milla was speechless, she couldn’t even talk back to him.
“And I will, for sure, throw you into jail if you’re trying to separate me from Sienna again,” the tone in his voice somehow sounded scary.
At the time, Aunty Milla exchanged a glance with Sienna and Estelle. She was quiet, but the look in her eyes told Sienna that she was hugely terrified of Daniel’s serious threat.
Sienna also just realized that after all this time, her aunt only half cared for her wellbeing. It was all about her revenge toward Daniel.
Aunty Milla pretended to be tough and all because she didn’t want to get hurt anymore.
Unfortunately, Sienna didn’t have power over Daniel who possessed money and influence to get whatever he wished for.
And she knew how bad Daniel’s temper when people got in his way.
