Chapter 48. The Lying Game (+18)

The idea of his lips on hers had been making her heart quickened with the euphoric feeling. She still could feel the remnant of warmness from his sweet kiss.
The memory of when he was kissing her kept on replying inside her head. She couldn’t stop it from flashing back and disturbed her peace of mind. However, she already felt at ease each time she remembered the way he was kissing her so affectionally.
She didn’t know how many women out there had been kissed by his manly lips. And his charm was somehow had been hypnotizing her mind. She didn’t know if she was in love with the idea of love, or she was being manipulated by his invincible charm.
When she was lying on her bed that day, the memory kept on rolling all over again. It was only yesterday when he kissed her and embraced her in his manly arms. She could imagine him kissing her again so passionately. But she didn’t want to imagine it, she just wanted to recall the real kiss she had with him.
He sucked her lips pretty hard, wanting to taste the sweetness of her upper and lower lips altogether. And he embraced her closely, never let her go from his touch.
He was craving to touch every inch of her warm skin. But Sienna was too innocent and fragile about the experience. It had never crossed on her mind that he would kiss her. She was hugely surprised that day when he finally did it.
She remembered she moaned in great pleasure when he was kissing her lips. He was giving a light pressure when smooching her dewy lips. She loved the way he treated her gently.
Of course, he didn’t want to scare her. He was tried to be gentle with her. It was her first kiss. But he was probably not aware that Sienna had never been kissed by any men before. She didn’t even have a boyfriend before she met him.
Daniel was every first in her life. He was her first lover. He was her first kisser. And he was the first one that proposed her to marry him.
And she had given a thought; he was someone so special in her life.
After he had done kissing her, Daniel immediately proposed to her. And she was settled with her decision. She finally agreed to marry him.
But what about the future that they both would have? She got panicking when she remembered about her family. They had not known yet about his marriage proposal to her. And they didn’t even have any idea that Sienna had accepted to wear his diamond ring that might cost a billion fortune.
She was terrified of the idea that she had been lying to everyone in her life.
And yes, except Cora Mulligan. She was her best friend.
But she had not told Cora about the part when Daniel was proposing to her with a diamond ring. And sooner or later, she had to tell her about it.
It was like the universe always noticed what she was thinking too deeply. And then, her phone was ringing beside her on the bed. When she checked who was calling her, she immediately sat on the edge of her bed excitedly.
As she accepted the phone call, her voice exclaimed out, “CORA! GOSH! YOU WON’T EVER BELIEVE ME…”
“Shush… shush… hold on there for a second, little missy!” Cora was surprised with the sound of her tremendous excitement.
Sienna also had to remember that she needed to keep her voice down. Her family at home couldn’t find out what she wanted to tell Cora. It would be completely chaotic if they found out.
And soon after, Sienna suggested to her, “What about we meet in our favorite coffee shop near our campus now?”
“Well, I’m about to ask you out on Sunday morning, now that you have asked me first…” Cora spoke cheerfully on the phone, “Okay then, let’s meet up there.”
“Okay, good, see you there soon!” Sienna said as she quickly hanged up the phone call.

As soon as they met in the coffee shop that was just located some meters away from their campus’s gate, Cora quickly demanded what was her secret talk this time.
“Okay, please chill out a little bit and let me take my breath,” Sienna murmured while holding on to her warm cup of milky coffee.
“Gosh, I can’t wait!” And then she pinched her eyes at her suspiciously. “Just let me guess. This must be about your lovey-dovey story with the Mister Handsome Billionaire, am I right?”
Sienna chuckled and felt excited to tell her all about it. And as she nodded, she said, “Yes, that’s right, Cora. But this time, it’s more to the next level. He kissed me yesterday,” once she spilled the bean, Cora immediately bulged her eyes out surprisingly at her. And then she added, “and he was kissing me in his bedroom.”
“O.M.G! Did you guys finally did it?” Cora looked so thrilled to know it.
“Did it? Like sleeping together?” Sienna hurriedly shook her head. “NO!”
“So, how did it feel? His lips? Does he have smooth lips?” Cora was so curious.
“At first it felt weird, but then my first kiss with him felt so amazing,” Sienna admitted.
Cora gasped the air, excited to hear that. “Considering you’ve never been kissed before! Oh, gosh, and he was your first, it must be amazing!”
“You know what is more amazing and terrifying at the same time?” Sienna murmured as she glanced around. She wanted to be careful when telling her about it. And then she told her, “He proposed me to marry him afterward.”
“NO IN A FRICKING WAY!” Cora exclaimed in a huge surprise.
Sienna panicked when everyone in the room glanced at their table. She quickly admonished her, “Shush! Lower your voice down!”
Cora glanced around and quickly apologized to everyone. Once she turned to see Sienna again, she blinked fast and asked, “So, what did you say to him?”
Sienna took a deep breath and told her, “I said yes, of course.”
Cora immediately shook her head in disbelief. “Okay, first thing, I’m happy for you. But the second thing, how about your family and his family? Have you guys discussed it together?”
Sienna knew that Cora cared for her. She was worried if the thing wouldn’t turn out as Sienna expected in the future. The matter was pretty complicated.
Then Cora added, “It’s like the story of forbidden love between you two. Your dad clearly said that you shouldn’t involve with the Wilson family, and yet… Gosh, I’m confused about how it will turn out…”
“I know, it’s complicated. And yes, I have discussed it with Daniel,” Sienna told her carefully. “Instead, he asks me to have a secret marriage with him.”
“Wait… What? Did he ask you to run away with him?” Cora stared at her in disbelief.
“Please, Cora, don’t tell anybody about this,” Sienna begged her. “And yes, I want to run away with him. Maybe not forever. Just a month. And then I will return home to finish college, and then once I graduated, I will return to him.”
“No… no… no… this is too crazy! Your parents and your aunt will find out if you’re not being careful about it,” Cora reminded her worriedly. “Running away? For a month during the summer holiday? That is such a stupid idea, Sienna.”
“Please, help me find an idea to cover it up,” Sienna begged her again. “I have been thinking so much about the plan, but yeah, I’m worried if my family will know.”
And then Cora went quiet for a minute. She rubbed her chin while thinking deeply.
“And so?” Sienna wondered what she got in mind.
As Cora stared back at her, then she said, “Okay, I have an idea, but I don’t know if it will work out for you or not…”
Sienna nodded as she was ready to listen heedfully.
Cora said, “Just pretend like you will go to New Zealand with me. Tell your parents that you’d like to spend the entire summer holiday with me there.”
“That’s a good idea! They will believe me since you’re my best friend,” Sienna murmured. “OMG, you’re such a genius!”
“Yeah, but still, I’m nervous that you’re going to marry a mafia family,” Cora muttered.
“About that…” Sienna grinned, “I have to confirm it again with Daniel. He has not fully told me everything about his family yet. But he said he has told her parents about his plan for our wedding party this month.”
“Okay, that’s such a relief. But you still have no idea about his real deal. And when will it be?” Cora wondered. “Will I be invited to your wedding party with him?”
“First of all, Daniel’s parents seem easier to deal with compare to my parents,” Sienna told her while smiling happily. “And second of all, you are obviously invited, Cora!”
Cora giggled. “Well, I’m just wondering since your wedding with him will be held secretly. And about his parents, if they really do agree, that’s great for you.”
Sienna nodded. “I think I remember this morning Daniel sent me a text message. He told me that his parents will approve whoever Daniel wants to get married with. I feel relieved.”
Cora smiled, “Yeah, as long as you both be happy.”
