Chapter 36. The Fiery Resentment
**(Daniel’s Perspective)**
*The afternoon after Sienna fled away from Daniel’s mansion in Vancouver.*
*It was such a rough day for everyone who worked there.*
Daniel was the scariest person in the mansion when he was out of control. His raging fire emotion was exploded the moment he found out that he lost his wife again.
He kept on throwing things in every room he went. All of the expensive furniture he brought, he threw them harshly and destroyed them inconsiderately. He was on fire. He wanted to express his resentment to anything he came across with.
The female maids feared him. They all stood together in the corner of the room while holding hands tightly to one another. Some of them even prayed to God, asking for the enlightenment to come into the mind of their boss.
“I WANT HER! NOW!” He screamed out angrily. The echo of his voice was heard throughout the big mansion.
But the maids could only stare down at their own shoes. They were frightened of him. Even the male bodyguards, who dressed in black didn’t dare to interrupt him at all.
“WHERE IS MY WIFE? WHY NOBODY ANSWERS MY GODDAMN QUESTION, HUH?” He yelled out to everyone in the room.
Nobody could give him the answer he wanted, because nobody had seen his wife since last night. That woman had just gone unnoticed.
Soon after, there were two bodyguards ran into him. Their faces looked anxious when they were about to tell him what they had found. Then one of them said, “Boss, we have found something on the CCTV.”
Daniel rested his hands on his waist for a moment as he stared back at those bodyguards. Then he asked, “You better tell me something good.”
The two bodyguards gulped down their saliva nervously after his boss said that. Then the other one spoke to him, “We saw your wife went away through the kitchen’s door last night.”
Daniel narrowed his eyebrows, bewildered. “What did you say?”
“The door was unlocked, Sir,” one of them told him with eyes glanced at the maid, accusing of their wrongdoing for not locking the door last night.
Daniel immediately looked away from them to see the maids in the corner of the room. He looked so angry at them all.
“Did any of you do it on purpose?” Daniel asked resentfully. His eyes kept on popping wide in front of them.
When no one dared to answer him, Daniel got so angry. Then he yelled out at them, “ANSWER ME, YOU FOOL!”
The maids were trembling when he yelled out harshly at them. Nobody even dared to stare back at his fiery eyes at the time.
“Am I paying you all for nothing, huh? How could none of you do your job properly?” Daniel questioned their quality of work.
And then the other bodyguard who stood at the entrance door came to him, bringing the information to him, “Excuse me, Sir. Your personal assistant has arrived here.”
Daniel quickly glanced at him. “Hamuza? Where?”
His eyes stared out at the entrance door as that big black man was entering the foyer.
“Sir, I have the information that you need to hear,” Hamuza spoke with his deep voice. He had just arrived here from New York.
“Good, tell me now. I know you’re the only one that never disappoints me, Hamuza” Daniel praised him ahead. He always trusted Hamuza as his professional assistant.
As Hamuza approached him closer, then he told him, “This is about your wife. As soon as I heard she fled away from your place, I have been tracking her down. And I have been successfully located her whereabout.”
“Where is she?” Daniel asked impatiently. He really needed to hear the answer.
Hamuza nodded understandingly at him. Then he informed him, “Ms. Sienna Moss has made it into the Vancouver International Airport just now. She’s already on board with Mister Jonathan Brown.”
Daniel immediately raised his eyebrows, surprised. “Jonathan? He’s here in Vancouver?”
“Yes, Sir. He arrived at the airport around three p.m. today,” Hamuza told him.
It was already four p.m. by the time Daniel glanced at his wristwatch. He felt pissed off. He had missed an hour.
“Shit! Damn it! That loser got in my way!” He cursed out on Jonathan. He really despised that nerdy man with eyeglasses.
“They are already on board now in the airplane. It’s too late if we go there now,” Hamuza told him distinctly.
Daniel stared up at that big man again. He seemed to think about something for a moment. His mind was so hectic about many things, especially after Sienna fled away from him.
“Come with me now. I have something to ask you privately,” said Daniel as he pointed out Hamuza to follow him.
Soon, he walked toward the empty dining room, leaving everyone in the foyer. And then he turned back to see Hamuza behind him, standing firmly.
“Yes, Sir? Anything that I can help you with,” Hamuza looked prepared for everything he would order him to do.
Daniel then told him, “I want my revenge.”
Hamuza looked a bit taken aback by what he said. “Pardon, Sir, I don’t understand what you mean by revenge.”
Daniel smirked devilishly. He already had a diabolical plan inside his tangible mind.
“Knowing that Sienna fled last night, I want my revenge,” Daniel spoke firmly to him. “Her hypocrite attitude resents me painfully. How could she leave me again? I will not let her wander freely this time. I will throw her into my cage! She’s mine for the taking!”
Hamuza took a deep breath as he tried to understand what Daniel deeply desired.
“Make sure you can do your job properly, Hamuza. I don’t want to miss anything. And certainly, I don’t like to lose something,” Daniel warned him firmly.
“Sure, Sir. Anything that you desire,” Hamuza murmured and nodded at him.
“Find me her most weakness that can favor my desire,” Daniel demanded him. “I really need her to be obedient to me. I need her to be with me here.”
Hamuza seemed to recall something for a second. Then he told him, “I think I know, Sir.”
Daniel narrowed his eyebrows wonderingly. “Tell me, Hamuza.”
“Do you still remember about Ms. Sienna Moss’s father?” He asked him for a second, then Daniel raised his eyebrows bafflingly. Afterward, Hamuza added, “After I have investigated her background further, I learn that Mister Patrick Moss works in London currently.”
“When she was still Carmelia, she never told me a bit about her family. Let alone about her father. So, what is his occupation?” Daniel asked curiously.
Hamuza quickly informed him, “Mister Patrick Moss works as a copywriter in a small newspaper company in London, Sir.”
“And what are you suggesting to me?” Daniel wondered.
Hamuza smiled quietly. Then he gave him an idea about it, “You have the power to influence the business world anywhere. You can give a light threat for Sienna about that.”
The corner of Daniel’s lips slowly turned up. He seemed fascinated by the smart thinking that Hamuza had. He quickly said, “That’s a good idea. I know I can always count on you.”
Hamuza nodded, being proud of himself.
“I can send a warning message to Sienna. If she doesn’t get back to me, she will see her father will lose his job in London,” Daniel murmured while smirking.
“You can make your point clear to Ms. Sienna Moss,” Hamuza said. “I’m sure it’s going to be effective if you do that.”
“And I want to give the threat to anyone in the Moss family to make my point clear,” Daniel muttered. “I don’t want it to be just her father. And send the message to her fricking boyfriend too.”
Hamuza nodded obediently to him.
“Good, now I need you to do something for me, Hamuza,” he murmured.
“Anything, Sir,” Hamuza said respectfully.
“I need you to deliver my warning message to Sienna’s house. I will see her reaction to it,” Daniel chuckled.
“Of course, Sir,” Hamuza obeyed his order. “I will send out the message soon enough.”
Daniel quickly walked closer to him. And then he tapped his firm shoulder while smiling proudly at him. Daniel felt lucky to have someone brave and smart like Hamuza as his sidekick. Hamuza could always do anything to satisfy anything that Daniel desired. He was a man that capable of everything.
Nevertheless, Daniel deeply desired to have his wife back at his side. And he was assured that he would have her in no time. He always got what he wanted. He was never back down to win the game.
And the last thing he told Hamuza was pretty devilish, “I have my game of desire. I will not lose to her. She will surrender herself to me in no time.”
And Hamuza nodded to agree with him. “Sure, you can always have what you want, Sir,” and then he smiled, “You are the man with power in this world. You are invincible, Sir.”
“Yes, I am the son of Wilson. I am a powerful man in the world,” Daniel said conceitedly.
Thereafter, Hamuza said his farewell to his boss before he would do his heavy job that day.
