Chapter 79. Being Free
“Da… Daniel!” Sienna muttered, hugely surprised.
Sienna gawked at his sudden appearance at the doorsill. Her eyes kept bulging out at him.
Daniel didn’t move at all. He froze while staring back at her. He observed her from head to toe. And his eyes popped out widely when he noticed she was about to drag her suitcase.
“You are going nowhere. Put down your suitcase now,” he demanded her.
“Daniel, please, understand me,” her voice was breaking. As if he was about to eat her alive, she was terrified with this moment when he kept giving her a raging fire vibe.
And then Daniel entered the bedroom to approach her. She instinctively walked backward when he was walking closer to her.
As he noticed her defensive behavior, he shouted out, “Don’t tempt me again, Sienna. I have a bad temper, and you know it.”
“Listen!” Sienna snarled out. “I have to go now! I can’t stay at your place! My dad is sick!”
After Daniel heard her last words, he flinched.
Sienna continued telling him, “My dad will be arriving at the airport tomorrow morning. I have to prepare myself to pick him up and I have to meet my family at home first.”
“You can just wait here and let your family pick him up at the airport,” Daniel argued.
Sienna sighed heavily. And then she shouted out, “No, Daniel. I have to see him. I have to take care of my dad.”
And then he gave her a suspicious look. “Are you saying this to run away from me? Are you reasoning with me now?”
Sienna looked at him in disbelief. She chuckled for a second before she snapped, “Gosh, you’re so full of yourself, Daniel! I am not lying to you when I said my dad will be coming home sick tomorrow morning!”
He flinched again when she barked out emotionally at his face.
“It’s been a long time I haven’t seen him. I miss him so much! He has been staying in London. We’ve been separated for so long!” Sienna snarled out peevishly. “Can’t you just let me go this once? I really need to see him. I really need to make sure that he will be okay.”
Daniel gawked while listening to her. And then he finally nodded, but something in his bitter expression told Sienna that he wouldn’t entirely agree with her plan.
And then he said firmly to her, “Sienna, you can go. But I have one condition for you.”
Sienna gulped own her saliva nervously when he started giving her that threatening tone.
“You can go to see your dad, but I will not be losing you. You have to return to my penthouse here after you’ve done your business with your dad,” his words were final.
Sienna shuddered by what he said. How could he be so selfish for not letting her go at all?
“Why should I be returning here? I have done my deal with you!” Sienna exclaimed out.
“I don’t want to be away from you. So, make sure you come back here,” Daniel muttered.
Sienna shook her head and shouted out, “But, Daniel!”
“Do you want it or not?” Daniel asked her solemnly. He didn’t blink at all.
Sienna felt hugely terrified about this conversation. It was like making a bargain with a mafia, and he was a Romanian mafia anyway.
“I’d be sending someone to watch your move. Make a mistake, and you’ll regret it,” Daniel threatened her.
She closed her lips tightly when he said that. She stared down at her suitcase and stayed silent as she listened to what he said further.
Daniel muttered, “You do remember what I told you, right? I can make your dad and your beloved boyfriend lose their jobs. And maybe, even their reputation…”
She instantly stared back at him, astonished.
“Daniel! How could you be so evil like this?” Sienna couldn’t believe that the man that she once knew had gone.
Daniel was not this egoistical and devilish when she first met him. And yet, after she regained her memories, she still pretended to forget about getting married to him. She just didn’t want to make so much drama with him anymore. Some people would get hurt if she didn’t play by the right rule.
“Go now. Do what you should do,” Daniel finally allowed her to leave his penthouse.
She flinched when he opened the bedroom door for her. She watched him carefully.
When she was about to leave the bedroom, and then he shouted out to her, “Just remember about our deal, Baby.”
She stared back at him silently. She closed her lips tightly. She didn’t want to say anything to him, but just a simple nod.
And then he quickly approached her closer and gave her a light kiss on her cheek.
“I will be waiting for you here, Baby. I will miss you,” he whispered to her ear.
Soon after, Sienna dragged her suitcase with her and walked away from him for good.

In the afternoon, when she arrived at home, she was greeted by Estelle and Aunty Milla in the living room.
Sienna saw Aunty Milla sat down with Estelle on the comfy sofa.
“Sienna, cuz! You’re finally home!” Estelle exclaimed out happily.
Estelle immediately raised from the sofa to come and hug her tightly. Sienna smiled at her and hugged her in return.
“Hey, Estelle, I am here now,” Sienna murmured.
Meanwhile, as Aunty Milla was bringing a cup of coffee, she asked curiously to her, “How were your days in Cora’s place, Sienna?”
As Sienna turned to see her, she smiled widely and said, “Yeah, everything was good. How were you at home with Estelle?”
“Oh, as usual, I’ve been accompanying Estelle worked at her photo studio,” Aunty Milla answered lightly.
“That’s awesome,” Sienna said as she turned to see Estelle.
“Yeah, I think I will get a stable position there soon,” Estelle told her.
“Of course, you should! I wish you all the best, Estelle!” Sienna said happily.
When Sienna was about to go upstairs, Aunty Milla asked her again, “Sienna! Wait a minute! There’s something I want to ask you since yesterday actually…”
Sienna turned to see her wonderingly. “Yeah, what is that, Aunt?”
“It’s about your nightmares. Estelle told me you have them again,” Aunty Milla looked worried for her wellbeing.
Sienna took a deep breath and smiled bitterly at her. “Aunt, I will be fine, thank you.”
“Oh, come on, Cuz. You need to talk about it with my mom. She knows how to handle your nightmares,” Estelle shouted out.
Sienna chuckled. “How? By visiting a therapist? I just don’t have time for that right now.”
Aunty Milla was taken aback when she said that pretty firmly. Thereafter, Aunty Milla asked her, “Why? You’re just working in your flower shop and the library. Are you that busy?”
Sienna gawked when Aunty Milla caught something strange with her. But she tried to hide her emotion in front of them. How could she tell them about her conflict with Daniel? She just couldn’t tell them. It was too complicated anyway.
And then Sienna simply said to her, “I am just too busy perfecting my life without being dependent with a therapist’s help, Aunt. Can’t you understand my decision?”
Estella and Aunty Milla exchanged a glance at each other.
“Oh, come on!” Sienna shouted out peevishly. “Don’t treat me like I’m still a little girl, because I’m not. I can take care of myself, okay?”
“Sienna, we want you to know that we are always here if you ever need our help,” Aunty Milla said caringly to her. And Estelle nodded agreeably as well.
Thereafter, Sienna smiled at them and left quietly to her bedroom upstairs.

The next day in the morning, they went to the airport to pick up Mister Patrick Moss. The airport was crowded as usual. People came and gone here.
Until then, when they went in the departure area, they saw Patrick walked out from the alleyway. Soon after, Sienna immediately ran toward him to hug him yearningly.
“Dad! Oh, Gosh! You don’t know how I’ve been yearning to reunite again with you!” Sienna muttered as she embraced him closely.
“Oh, Sienna… I’m…” his voice was kind of breaking.
Sienna realized his condition was not well at the time. She could feel his body felt hotter than a normal body temperature.
“Dad, how are you feeling now?” Sienna asked worriedly as she touched his forehead to check on his body temperature.
“I feel a little headache. And sometimes, I feel like I’m about to fall,” he said weakly. “But I have to fight those germs away. I have to come home and see you.”
“You have taken the painkillers pills like what I told you yesterday, right?” Sienna asked.
Her dad nodded. Then behind them, Estelle and Aunty Milla came to greet him.
“Milla! Estelle!” He waved at them happily.
Aunty Milla immediately came to hug him and said, “Patrick! I miss you, Brother!”
While Estelle waved her hand at him. “Hello, Uncle! How are you?”
Then he turned to see Estelle. He smiled and murmured, “I heard you’re a supermodel now! Congratulation on your new profession!”
“Oh, no, she is not yet,” Aunty Milla shouted out and giggled.
Estelle rubbed her neck shyly. “It’s just a freelance job. But I will be soon getting a stable position in the photo studio, Uncle.”
“That’s nice for you,” Patrick smiled at them. He felt happy that everyone did well while he was away in London.
“Okay, Dad, we need to bring you home now. Let us take care of your health,” Sienna demanded him. She was hugely worried about his condition.
Patrick nodded and walked with them to find a yellow cab taxi.
