DNA Results
Aziel walks onto the covered terrace where he has arranged to meet Clairy.
She is already waiting for him and when she sees him coming, she gets up overjoyed to fly around his neck. But Aziel keeps her at a distance and a disappointed look falls over her face. “Aziel. After that rambunctious night we had, you can't treat me like a stranger anymore. Have you forgotten what we've all done? There is no shame between us anymore, we are soul mates”, she now declares with pleasure.
Aziel continues to look at her coldly.
“If you mean the night you raped me, I have to disappoint you. You are a criminal and you belong in prison. And I'm going to work on that, I won't rest until you're behind bars," he bites her. A painful expression flashes in Clairy's eyes for a moment, but it is soon gone. She smiles triumphantly, her eyes sparkling with pleasure. “You want your child's mother in prison, Aziel? Then what are you going to explain to it later on? Don't you think it will hate you for your coolness toward its mother? And also think about the publicity this all will get. Of course, Loraine has already dumped you a long time ago”, she responds confidently.
“Don't bet on that. Loraine is a gem, she doesn't persuade men. She is a woman on every level, she is my fiancé and soon my wife,” Aziel proudly tells her.
“And as for the child, after a positive DNA test, I am willing to accept responsibility. I did not knowingly cooperate in its conception, but it is innocent of your criminal behavior. When you're in prison, I'll apply for full custody. Then you can serve your sentence without any worries.”
Claire turns red of shame. “So, you've already figured it all out. And you don't seem surprised by the news that I'm expecting?” she asks. She looks straight at Aziel, he didn't even lash out at her as she expected. “Does Loraine know too? I actually want to make a deal with you.”
When Aziel continues to stare at her in silence, she loses her balance for a moment but immediately recovers. “No publicity, you discharge Loraine and marry me. This will save your reputation and give your child a family. If the press finds out, we'll have an answer ready," she suggests.
Aziel lets out a dry laugh. “Do I look like a dumbass to you? I'll never leave Loraine and marrying you makes me puke just thinking about it. You're a criminal and that's not the type of woman I'm starting a family with. Actually, I never want to see you again. If I had a choice, you wouldn't be the mother of my child either. You are utterly reprehensible!”. Clairy can no longer hide her anger at these insulting words. The mask on her face fades away, replaced by an evil grin that reveals her evil character.
“You rejected me for years, despite that bitch bore another man’s child. Is that the type you marry and want kids? Her bastard almost calls five men daddy. I don't think he even knows who his real father is," she screams in a high tone. “I'll make your life hell, just watch me! If you don't marry me you will feel my revenge. This child is yours and I, and yet you sit here humiliating me. What kind of father are you?” she yells now, clearly intended to get the attention of the adjacent tables.
And indeed a number of faces turn to their table.
“Listen Clairy. I have already made my position clear to you. As soon as we can do the DNA test and have the result in, my lawyer will contact you about the details. Of course, all agreements are in writing, you are too unreliable”, Aziel tells her. He pulls his chair back as if to stand up. “And now that we've met here. My lawyer will also contact you regarding our horrific incident. We will also make you an offer before we file criminal charges against you. I only hope you decide wisely, for the sake of the child.”
Aziel throws the napkin on the table, turns and walks away with great strides. Pinned to his shirt is a recorder that has escaped Clairy's eye.
When he's in his vehicle, he grips the steering wheel so hard that his knuckles turn white. Just when his life is finally on track, he has the woman of his heart and they are expecting twins, a snake crawls into paradise. Aziel knows that the longer he keeps this case a secret from Loraine, the harder it becomes to confess to her what happened that night and keep her faith in him. But he lacks the strength to hurt Loraine, to distract her from this beautiful period of her pregnancy.
He hits the steering wheel hard a few times.
‘Loraine, my heart. Hold on tight. We'll get through this also’, he whispers as he stares in front of him. Just as he starts the car to leave, he hears his phone beep. Some text messages have arrived. He takes the phone and reads from the notifications bar that the detective sent some photos. After clearing the code, he reads the messages. A broad smile of happiness comes over his lips. In addition to videos, there are also incriminating photos that serve as evidence in his case against Clairy.
Aziel screams his heart out of happiness.
The only one who will suffer in this case is the child in Clairy’s womb.
His child, though he would have wanted it otherwise. He knows he will have to make some sacrifices to find justice. But letting Clairy get out of all this with impunity and allowing her to blackmail him in the future is definitely not an option.
But at the same time, a text message with several images also arrives at another telephone. Clairy has started her war against him....
