“Oohhh My Lord! This turned out to be a good day after all. We now have a stronger lead, maybe we don't even have to go to that Clif who could get us in trouble anyway," says Andre. “We can easily find out the details of this boat online now that we have the name. Michel, the captain must know how to proceed”.
Aziel immediately wants to go back to the boat.
“No, we really need to rest. We didn't sleep all night," Kenjal complains. "I am so exhausted. The massage also tired me out.” Andre gives him a friendly pat on the back. “We can do that in the boat. Let's get our stuff from the hotel and then cancel the booking.” Half an hour later, the men leave for the yacht with their luggage. Michel is surprised to see them. “Wouldn't you rest first?” he asks.
They give him an update on what they found out in the massage parlor. While they are storing their belongings in a cabin, Michel examines the details of the Midnight Star, Danner’s yacht. When the men arrive in his room, he has already sorted it all out. “Yes, they are now in Costa Rica. But you need to have a plan on how to approach them," he suggests. “I don't think you can walk up to a woman with amnesia and launch the news that you're her husband. You can run into opposition and the authorities in Costa Rica are not easy to deal with,” he warns them.
Andre and Kenjal look at Aziel with raised eyebrows.
“Do you have a plan ready, Aziel? Michel is right”, Andre asks. Michel prepares to leave the harbor. “You all go get some rest, we're going to the open sea. If we're close to Costa Rica, I'll set off the alarms in your rooms," he promises. “And before we disembark, we need to fine-tune how we approach the whole thing.”
Aziel heads to his room while Andre and Kenjal also retreat. Once in bed, he dreams of the moment when he has Loraine in his arms again. He knows she won't fall asleep easily if he's not holding her close. Has Danner taken his place now, he wonders wildly? Loraine has never really been in love with Danner, she was just attached to him at the time because he also helped her a lot with her business. But she no longer needs him, Asher performs exceptionally, Windrug&So has never been more profitable than now.
But now that Danner is drugging her, he can trick her into anything. Aziel plans to first see if Loraine recognizes him. If that's the case, their journey will be over in no time, because she’ll know that he’s here to get her back. He’ll take her to the boat and sail away to another island to have a good time before returning to New York. Then Danner will have to see how he lives his life further.
But if she doesn't recognize him, that's a painful possibility to consider.
It will hurt deeply to be rejected by her, even if only unconsciously. But he intends to do everything to regain her, without coercion.
Aziel sighs deeply. He's sure she's forgotten her past life and most likely him too. So, he will court her when Danner is not around, out of his sight. And if Loraine chooses him, which he’s so sure she will do, he will tell her everything.
Loraine won't recognize Andre either and never met Kenjal before. Danner never met both men, he was in prison when Loraine met Andre in Barbados. Looks good. He will introduce Andre as his brother with his boyfriend Kenjal. This couple will be the go-betweens he and Loraine, there's no danger since Danner won’t suspect anything with them.
Aziel has his plan ready. Next is to get the others with him. Now that he has thought everything through, calmness comes over him. Within minutes his eyes close and he tumbles into a deep dreamless sleep. About seven hours later, he is awakened by a buzzing sound. He lays down for a while to orientate himself to his surroundings. Then he gets up, takes a quick bath and puts on clean clothes. He meets the others on the deck where they have a drink.
It is now dusk, evening is already falling. The moon shines over the sea bed, the whole is so picturesque. “Hey guys, I have an idea how to approach this whole thing without shocking Loraine mentally. In addition, I can also have a good time with her”, he tells the men. “Wouldn't you and Kenjal be on vacation too? Well, what do you think of Costa Rica and if my plan is successful we will take Loraine to one of the other islands. She loves the warm beach so much.”
He explains his plan to them and how he wants to win Loraine back to himself. She must willingly come back to him. Kenjal and Andre will have to distract Danner, meaning Michel has to find himself a young girlfriend who befriends Loraine to distract Danner. “Hey, Aziel, you'd do well as a scriptwriter if you once decide to pause that transport company for a while”, laughs Andre. Now that the tension is gone, the men can laugh with relief. “Cheers to a happy ending and a wonderful new beginning. For me and Loraine, Andre for you and Kenjal too. And we still have to hook up Michel to a beautiful lady in Costa Rica”, says Aziel teasingly.
The yacht is now anchored some yards off the coast of Costa Rica. Michel already has the approval to enter the island but wants to boost the mood among the men with the beautiful view. Tourists are now partying along the banks, the music can be heard all the way to the bay. “I suggest we stay in a hotel anyway. Let's find out if Danner also has a room somewhere and check-in there too," Aziel suggests. Michel looks at him mysteriously. “Aziel. The Midnight Star is close by. Look!”.
Michel points in the direction of a not too big yacht. The lights are off, which means the residents are out. “Hmm. Perhaps the right time to make our appearance? Michel, you will have to stay on the ship with Aziel, we can't bear Danner recognizing him now. Kenjal and I are going out," laughs Andre. “Babysitter Michel”, he teases his captain. They all laugh as Aziel holds up his glass. “If you run into her, don't forget to call me. If possible, also a video call so I can see her too”...
