Evidence

"Aziel, is this true?"
With bloodshot eyes, Loraine now looks at her fiancée, who has tears in his eyes. He grabs her and squeezes her to his body as if he never wants to let her go.
“Forgive me, Loraine. It was not my choice.”
His voice is laced with held-back tears as he hides his face in her hair. “I never wanted to cheat on you. I love you so much. This was a mistake, I swear.” Loraine shakes her head in disbelief. “Clairy? How did you get in touch with her again to the point that you are now expecting a child? And when did this happen? We are always together and in the morning you are at work”, she asks in pain.
Aziel swallows hard, he knows he has to come clean now. “I want you to believe me when I say that this was not intentional. I belong only to you, you are my life, you, the twins and Lorrich. I can't lose you, it’s too much." He is a man but now tears are rolling down his cheeks freely. Just the thought of losing Loraine forever hurts a lot. “I should have told you, but I didn't want to spoil your peace. Right now you can't have these shocks and look what happens," he sobs. "Loraine, let me fix this, I beg you, give me some time to sort this out."
“How did you manage to sleep with another woman? Did you think of me and Lorrich for a moment? We counted on you! You've let us down!” Loraine accuses him, broken. “And you didn't even have the guts to tell me yourself. Now I need to hear this all from a dead stranger. It hurts a lot, Aziel."
They cling to each other as if this is the final goodbye.
Then Aziel starts talking about the night she had dinner with Lorrich and Dordrich and he went to the club with friends. There he was drugged and taken away. Aziel explains how he was raped and when he woke up he recognized Clairy on the bed. But she denied having taken and raped him. She claimed that he was drunk and walked into the apartment on his own and had sex with her randomly.
Aziel firmly denies that, he is sure that he did not consume a drop of alcohol that evening because he did not want Lorrich to smell it on him. Since Lorrich has been with them, he chose not to drink any more alcohol. He has not yet made an official report to the police because he is still collecting evidence. A man who reports rape, and then is a public figure, may not be taken seriously and may become a victim of public ridicule.
Loraine listens in silence. She knows that Clairy has an evil personality and is capable of a lot of damage. She didn't expect to be able to go that far, though. “What exactly are you going to do then? You definitely can't let this go unpunished, Aziel," says Loraine, now fully believing in him. “It is terrible that an innocent child will suffer from this unsavory affair. What a mess!” she sighs, recovering from the shock.
“First, I want to know if you forgive me, Loraine. I can't live without you, we need you," says Aziel emotional. “Tough times await us, Clairy will not give in easily. But with you by my side, I can overcome anything. I need your love to get through this.” He squeezes her in his arms.
“You have all the support from me. I know you would never deliberately cheat on me. I was in shock earlier. But this is quite a difficult situation that we are going through as a family," she emphasizes.

Aziel breathes a sigh of relief, losing Loraine again he would not survive. “Thank you, my love”, he whispers to her. “I promise I will never put you in a situation like this again.”
Aziel then takes out his phone.
He shows Loraine the images of the club where he sits with his friends and drinks non-alcoholic. After that he went to the toilet, but there is no video footage from inside. But it is clear to see how a minute later a woman enters the men's restroom and shortly afterward leaves with a slow-moving Asiel through the rear exit. “Hmmm”, says Loraine, “You are adults, if it was consensual sex, why not leave through the front door?!”.
Then there is CCTV footage of the vehicle they leave in and eventually arrive at a rented apartment. Here too, Aziel gets out himself, but his reflexes are slow. The woman intertwines her hands with his and leads him inside. And then Aziel shows her the images of the next day, where he rushes out the door, desperately stops a taxi and gets in much more energetic.
"Isn't this enough evidence to go to the police?" Loraine asks urgently. Now that Aziel has shown her the images, the situation is crystal clear to her. But the man next to her shakes his head. “According to my lawyer, she can dispute these images and give the story her own twist. We need witnesses, we have to connect the dots”.
And then he shows her the following camera images. Clairy receives money from Elena, their conversation is loud and clear. Then Dale comes into the picture. Loraine stares at the phone in disbelief. “Dale! Of all your life!”, she screams in amazement. “What interest does he have in the case? Andre has nothing to do with you and Clairy. Oh My God! This is a whole network conspiring against you, Aziel.”
“The question is whether I should tell Andre. Some days ago, he informed me that he saw Dale and Clairy together, but at that time I didn't have the images of the payments yet to relate the two”, the man explain. “And what’s is the involvement of the Fellogans in this?!".
“Did you talk to Clairy after the incident?" Loraine wants to know. "Yes," Aziel replied uneasily. "What does she say then, what exactly does she want?"
Aziel lets out a sound of horror. "She suggested not to publicize the child and that I marry her," he spits out the words. "She wants to provide the baby with a family. I clearly told her that there is only one person I will marry and that is you. Furthermore, I will bear all responsibility for the child after a DNA test". Loraine puts her hands around Aziel's neck in comfort. They sit like this for a few more minutes, each lost in their own thoughts. What should have been a great evening has now been ruined by this one shrewd text message....
