**Vintage POV ( Valenzano Wolf): **
While Valenzano was pleasuring himself, I had an urge to touch Cleopatra. She left us hanging since this morning. I was resting in the back of Valenzano's mind, keeping our energy up. We were going to need it for the ceremony. The moment I smelled her enter the room, I took over. She walked with bare legs, she didn't say a word. I allowed her to do the one thing I never allowed a woman to do, and that is taking control.
The Alpha in me regained control, but she took it back. I was so lost in the pleasure that I didn't realize what was happening. Cleopatra growled and bit me. The pleasure took over the confusion and shock I had. I saw a white light flash before my eyes and then I lost it. I left up and bit her on her marking spot. I saw flashes of gold stars. What the hell is going on? I have had her before as well as other woman. But nothing like this
The bed broke as we came at the same time, then she went limp. In shock, I panicked and ran to the pack hospital. I mind linking Jazz and West that I was on my way there with Cleopatra. Valenzano is fighting for control, and I don't allow him.
"Vintage what the fuck did you do to her", Valenzano spat.
"I didn't do anything. She will be okay Valenzano, stop trying to take control. I will manage this", said to Valenzano.
I burst through the door, and everyone stopped and stared at me. One of the doctors came with a stretcher and I placed her on it. They ran her to a room where the pack doctor was waiting for us.
"Alpha, what happened to Luna?", the doctor asked.
"I don't know. Will she and the pups be, okay?", I asked franticly.
"We will find out what is wrong with Luna. But you have to calm down and tell me what exactly happened.
I told her everything that has happened since we started having sex. I showed her the mark Cleopatra gave me. She seemed shocked and called an elder doctor for help. She looked at me as if I grew an extra head. When I told her Cleopatra marked me.
"What happened?", I heard Jazz and West ask in unison.
"I have no idea she passed out after I marked her.", I explained.
"Why did you remark her?", West asked.
"I have no idea I had the urge to do so after she marked me", I said as Jazz and West looked at each other.
"I bit West too. It was during sex something made me want to claim his as mine", Jazz said. What the hell is going on here?
"Humans marking their mates. We need to get to the bottom of this. But it will have to wait until we find out what is wrong with Cleopatra", I said, taking them to the room Cleopatra is in.
Hearing the pup's strong heartbeat gave me some relief. I know she ate today, and she is not dehydrated. What the hell is wrong with my mate? Valenzano and I need answers. And he is fighting me for control to get them.
"Vintage", I hear her whisper.
"I'm here, my love", I replied, kissing her forehead, then her stomach.
"Where am I", she whispers.
"You are at the pack hospital. You passed out after we had sex", I explained.
"Are the pups, okay?", she asked, worried.
"Yes, they are ", I say as I rub her stomach.
"I feel it was more than sex. I feel more connected to you now", she says as he sits up and kisses me.
"Alpha.... Luna", we heard the doctor say.
"Doc", we both nodded and said.
"This is Elder Marnier, and she is here to help explain what happened.", the doctor said.
"Luna, after looking at your medical file. I saw that while your mother was pregnant, she was marked by her Alpha mate. I assume you have never been sick, no broken bones, you are stronger than the average human, you can be fast when you try, and you can mind link with your former pack", she said, more of a statement than a question.
Elder Marnier explained that Cleopatra has the genetic traits of an Alpha. Because her mother was marked at the beginning of her pregnancy, his venom traveled to Cleopatra. Her Alpha traits laid dormant, but when she became pregnant, they slowly started to push forward.
And grew stronger once she was marked by me as an Alpha. That explains what happened at the dinner. The Elder then goes on to explain that her Alpha traits grow stronger as she gets further in her pregnancy. And since she is closer to her due date, the Alpha in her wanted to claim me as hers, thus the mark she gave me.
"Elder, that doesn't explain why she passed out when I re-marked her", I asked.
"Because she is human, and her human body is not equipped to take on such power. The mixture of the pleasure, pain, and the pregnancy exhausted her", she said.
"Okay, so in lame terms, doctor, what does this mean?", West asked.
"It means Luna here carries the Alpha traits. If she is turned, she will be an Alpha", the elder said.
"So, she is an Alpha without a wolf", Jazz asked.
"Technically, yes, she will become more aggressive over her pups or anyone she loves. Especially over her Alpha. At some point, she will have the power to use an Alpha tone", the doctor said, and all of us are surprised.
"That explains the heat she had", West said.
"She had a heat?", the doctor and elder said in unison.
"Yes", Cleopatra whispers.
"That is fascinating", the Doctor said.
"This information does not leave this room", she said in a low Alpha tone. I am not sure she realized what she just did.
We all sat there surprised. Cleopatra didn't say a word. Valenzano was just as shocked as everyone could feel our panic starting to slow. The Elder explained that Cleopatra's Alpha trait will help her deliver the pups safely. And that we shouldn't worry about her anymore. We left; I carried Cleopatra all the way home even though she insisted she could walk. I decided we would have dinner in her room. Wanting more time with her to bond more, now that she marked us.
"Vintage, when did you take control", I asked.
"The moment you walked into our room", he said.
"Why are we in my old room?", Cleopatra asked.
"Because, my love, we broke my bed. Also, my wall has a hole in it", I said with a smirk proud that we have a strong Luna.
"The Elder said I was going to be more sexually aggressive. How do you feel about that?", she asked.
"Cleopatra, my love, I have no problem with it at all. Valenzano and I will take care of all your needs. But for the pup's sake, try not to lose control. We don't want to hurt them", I said, pleading with her. I am worried about her and the pups.
I washed her and tucked her in. We have an exciting day tomorrow and I want her to be well-rested. I couldn’t even sleep if I wanted to. My mind is in overdrive. I never knew that a wolf bite would affect a fetus. Then again, I never heard of an Alpha or a regular wolf marking a pregnant woman that is not pregnant by him.
Our children are going to be very strong. That is what I am afraid off. Not that they would overpower me. But because their power might put a target on their back. I don’t know of any Alpha who Luna is an Alpha. Some can be of Alpha blood but are not Alphas if that makes sense.
For example, my mother's father is an Alpha. But she didn’t inherit the Alpha trait. Usually, the Alpha trait is passed down from father to son. Not father to daughter. And with Cleo not being her father’s biological daughter, means her case is really special
I am going to have to keep an eye on my little girls. I will be dammed if some assholes try to use them as a way to gain power. And as for my son, I will teach him how to be careful with his seed.
