**Seth POV: **
Bastet pregnancy is progressing well. I have grown attached to her and the baby. She is having a girl a little sister Danny can love and protect. I notice she and Sherry got closer she watches their baby. Sol is keeping her distance from Sherry when she is with Bastet. Morton said Sol therapy is helping her and she was told not to approach Bastet until she is comfortable with it. I told her about the conversation I had with Stephan and Morton, Bastet said she understood and is happy she knows what the issue is. I had to sneak out of bed for a meeting with Morton, Stephan, and Gator.
“Bro what's up?”, Stephan said walking into my office.
“We have a meeting remember”, Morton said.
“Yeah, about the hunters”, Stephan said.
“Yes, so there have been a total of five dromes captured", Morton said.
“They have been sending one a month. And none of the video shows anything important”, Gator said.
“So, we have about three or so months before they will attach”, Stephan said.
“About that Bastet doesn’t want any of the hunters killed", I said taking a deep breath.
“What! So your mate expects for us not to defend ourselves?”, Gator asked.
“No, she expects us to not kill anyone. We will defend but not kill. I need you to tell your men Stephan”, I said.
“I assume if any of us want to keep our balls we will listen”, Morton said.
“Also, Bastet suggests that we wear armor as well”, I said.
“Armor, there is no armor out there made for werewolves anymore”, Stephan said laughing.
“Well, there is now”, I said I show them the sketch of the armor Bastet designed.
“So, you want us to wear this”, Morton said with a raised eyebrow.
“It is optional for Stephan and his pack but you and I do. You can choose between human armor or wolf”, I said to Morton.
“Shit, I am for it. Bastet did a good job", Stephan said.
“Is this made of silver?”, Gator asked.
“Yup, but it has a red silk lining so the silver won't affect us”, I said.
“Smart woman, I hope she stays”, Morton said.
“Me, too”, I said shaking my head.
“Have you talked to her about staying or at least tell her how you feel”, Stephan said.
“I haven't I figure I will let the bond do its work and then talk to her", I said.
“Tonight, tell her tonight at least if you two talk it will give her some time to think about it”, Gator said. I see why Stephan chose him to be his Beta.
“By the way, I talked to Bastet about Sol's issues with her. I forgot to tell you guys”, I said looking at the armor sketch.
“How did she take it?”, Morton asked.
“She said she understood and holds no hard feelings for her”, I respond.
“Damn that big of her”, Stephan said.
“Well, she said she is used to it. Apparently, her father, husband and her lover were born without a permanent tan. So, she dealt with women like Sol in her life”, I said.
“O, so her mother is where she gets her looks from”, Gator said.
“Yup, and I am glad for it”, I said laughing.
All four of us agreed to wear the armor Bastet suggested. We ordered the blacksmith to make our amor. I thought about what Gator said tonight I have to talk to Bastet I want her to stay and be my Luna. I decided I will talk to her over a romantic dinner. I hear Bastet call me and I run to her.
**Bastet POV: **
I am five months now and this baby won't stop moving. The only time she is asleep is when Seth is around. He talks to her and she listens to him. At night she rubs my stomach and talk to her. I have noticed I don’t sleep while he is not in the bed and when he is out, I can't stay away from him for too long without longing for him, Sherry said it is the mate bond she said it will continue to grow then I will want him to mark me. She said he is already attached to me and the baby. And he wants to mark me but he won't do it without my consent. I sit up and noticed he is not in the room. Usually, he is here when I wake up from my nap.
Sherry and I talked about Sol and her issue with me. Sherry being her sweet self she apologizes on Sol's behalf. I hold her and Seth I am used to it. When I was a teenager going shopping with my dad women would look at me in disgust thinking he was my white sugar daddy. It was even worst when I went out with John or Jason. I told Sherry on time I went out to dinner with John, I went to the bathroom and on my way, I hear our waiter talking shit about me. The bitch had the nerve to tell her colleagues that I was just another gold digger whose boyfriend Tyrone was probably in jail. I punched her in the face.
“Seth”, I called him and within seconds he is in the room
“Yes, baby what is”, he said worried then sniff my stomach.
“We are fine I just woke up and you are not here”, I said with a whine, when the hell did, I start whining?
“I am sorry love I was in a meeting with Morton, Stephan, and Gator”, he said helping me out the bed.
“And was this meeting about me or my people”, I asked sitting on his lap.
“Yes, my dear it was. How about we have dinner later and talk about the meeting”, Seth asked me.
“Sure, that will be delightful”, I said smiling hard.
“Okay dear be ready at 6 pm and I will come and get you”, he said as he rubs my stomach. It's big but not as big as people expect that is because I still work out a little bit.
“It's lunchtime so let have lunch together. I know you have more work to do I will not keep you long”, I said then kissed his forehead.
