**Sherry POV: **
It's been two weeks since Morton marked me everything has been going great. I never knew I could feel this good being in love. Morton and Dez worship the ground I walk on and soon I will be an official member of the pack. Sol and I have gotten closer as well she introduces me as her sister.
Danny keeps asking when he will have a sister or brother which makes Sol blush every time he asks. Today Morton and I are going to finish up the nursery, he is so handy he put all the furniture together. It is getting harder and harder for me to walk I will have this baby soon which means Stephan will come sooner to try and claim me.
“Hey babe finished setting up the toys”, Morton asked.
“Yes, I am done Morton we need to talk”, I say not wanting to have this conversation.
“I know my love don’t worry”, he said as he pulls me into his chest and hugs me protectively.
“He will come for us. I…. I just don’t want anyone to get hurt protecting me”, I said as he rubs my back.
“You and OUR pup are mine. He will NEVER have the two of you”, he said holding me tighter.
“I know I just don’t want anyone to fight”, I say pulling back to look into his eyes.
“We are primal beings it's what we do”, he says as he kisses me on my forehead.
I know Morton and Seth are up to something. When Morton is not with me, he is with Seth. There is more training being done and I noticed more guards around the house and boarders. My stomach growled Morton picked me up bridal style and take me to the kitchen. When we entered Sol and Seth are talking in hushed tones Morton sniffed and growled. There was a note on the table with my name on it.
“Hey guys did this note just came for me?”, I asked
“Sherry wait”, Sole said as I open the note.
When I opened the note, it read “tick tick-S”. I sat down on the chair and started to cry. Morton takes the note, reads it and growls loudly. I can’t take this he can have babies with any of the unclaimed women they abducted why me? I don’t anyone to get hurt to die trying to save me. I will be dammed if I give my baby to him. This child might be a product of rape, but it is loved no less than a child made from love.
“Baby, it’s okay we won’t let him take you or our pup”, Morton said.
“Morton he will never stop even though I am marked and mated to you he won’t stop”, I said crying.
“He will not get to you Stephan knows the law”, Seth said.
“The law is not going to stop him from throwing a temper tantrum”, Sol said.
“Now is not the time Sol”, Morton said aggravated.
“Look, he doesn’t know she is marked yet so maybe once he does, he will just leave her alone”, Sol said.
“My brother hates when something he thinks belongs to him gets taken away. And I don’t want history repeating itself”, Seth said.
“You know what guys I'm hungry and I just want food”, I say as I go get food.
My plate is piled with maple bacon and poached eggs. My other plate has mixed fruit drizzled with orange honey with pickles on top. When I sat down everyone looked at me and laughed. Morton reached for my pickle and I growled at him. The lock on his face was priceless and everyone kept laughing.
“Sherry, Morton when you guys are done, I need to talk to you in my office please”, Seth said as he left.
**Seth POV: **
I hate to admit it, but Sol is right Stephan will throw a temper tantrum once he realized Sherry is marked already. We need to get ready for the war to come and for that will need Sherry’s help. We have no idea how many men he has or ever where his camp is located. Hopefully it doesn’t trigger her to talk about her time with them. A knock on the door I tell them to come in.
“I am just going to get straight to it. Stephan will lose his shit once he finds out he has no claim to you or the pup. So, we need to prepare which means I need some information from you”, I say.
“Okay, what do you need to know?”, she asked.
“What is the total male population? How many of them are warriors? Where is his home base? Entry and exits, how many women and children are being held?”, I asked I know it is a lot at once, but time is not on our side.
“This home base is underground not far from here, it’s near a river. I am not sure how many women and children are being held but if I had to guess I would say about 150 women and maybe a minimum of fifty kids. As for men, I lost count after 300. There are multiple entries and exits some of which lead to the woods and some to abandon houses in town”, she said.
“Baby how were you able to count 300 men”, Morton asked stupidly. I hope she doesn’t answer truthfully. Then again, she doesn’t seem like the kind of person that will lie.
“300 is the number of men that I can remember I was forced to have sex with”, she said as he looked down at her stomach. Fuck I see Morton fighting Dez for control.
“DEZ STAND DOWN YOU ARE SCARING YOUR MATE”, I commanded in my Alpha tone.
He stopped before he shifted. Morton comforted Sherry well more like Sherry comforted Morton. I know he is pissed no man wolf or not wants to hear that his woman has been passed around to different rogues for about at least two years. I show her a map and she was able to pinpoint the area she was running from.
I mind link some trackers and warriors and told them they are going on a scouting mission. They are to search for what is not supposed to be in the woods. And to document it and bring it back. If we know where he is coming from so, we can be ready for him. After getting as much information the Sherry remembers they left. I would hate to be in Morton’s shoes I know he is going to ask her questions he need not to ask.
