**Morton POV: **
Things have been going well with Sherry and me. She even moved onto the Beta floor. On some nights when she has nightmares, she sleeps with me. She says I make the nightmares go away and I feel good about that. The pup is growing well as expected sometimes I talk to him and tell him how much I love him and his mom. The pup would move a little and Sherry would laugh at us.
Sometimes I see her looking out into the forest wondering if Stephan is out there waiting to take her from me. I told her plenty of times that he would have to go through the whole pack to get to her. Like right now she is crossing off the dates on the calendar as they go back to whatever time frame, he gave her it will be here soon.
“Hey, babe are you ready to go”, I ask as I wrap my arms around her waist.
“Do we have to? I don’t feel safe outside the pack lands. What if he takes me Morton?" she said looking like she is about to cry.
“Baby, you know I won’t let that happen right? We will take some guards if that makes you feel better. Besides our son needs some stuff”, I say trying to reason with her.
“Can’t we order whatever he will need and have it delivered?”, she asked pleading with me.
“We could but it would take a while for us to receive it. And besides baby, you need more clothes please let me spoil you and our son”, I plead with her.
“We can take some guards”, she asked.
“Yes, we can baby”, I say as I kiss her forehead and rub her stomach.
It took long enough but she is finally dressed. When we get outside there are four black Jeep Wranglers, all of the vehicles have scent suppressors inside. Four guards in the first and second one, the third one has two in the front, the back is where we will sit and the last one has four guards as well.
I open the door for her, and we leave two Jeeps go west and two go east. That way if someone is attempting to follow us, they will have to choose which two cars to follow. I watch Sherry as she looks out the tented window looking to see if anyone is out in the forest.
We arrived at the mall and pull up in the VIP section. This mall is one that Seth and I own. All the security officers are armed and of the pack. They are all aware that their Beta is coming with his mate and to be on full alert. When we stepped out the other two cars arrive. Sherry is in aww she looks like she loves the mall already and we haven’t even went shopping yet. The guards split up four on each floor and two with us to each store we go to. Our first stop is a furniture store the manager comes and greets us.
“Mr. Phi it's so lovely to see you, sir. Please have a look around”, the manager said.
“Thank you, Mr. Teknion. We are here for baby furniture”, I said.
“Sure, I will show you the way”, he says with a bow.
We follow him to the baby section, once Sherry saw the furniture, she walked slowly touching every piece. I dismiss Teknion and follow Sherry she doesn’t say anything, she just looks at the item than the price. Once she sees the price, she moves on to the next item. She walked the whole baby section and didn’t pick a thing.
“Baby do you see anything you like”, I say as I hug her from behind.
“Yes, but it's all too much. The prices here are way too high”, she says as she eyes a crib.
“Money is not an issue love get what every you want”, I say as I kiss her cheek.
It took some convincing, but she chose everything she looked at. She got a Ubabub - Pod Crib, a dresser in walnut, a change tray in warm white, a walnut changing table, and a change pad cover. All of which cost $5,377, I am glad she didn’t see the receipt. The next store was a department store we needed a stroller and some other traveling stuff.
Sol gave me a list of stuff to get, she said all the other stuff she will get the baby shower. I personally like the stroller collection they are big and strong. I didn’t know there were different types of strollers we looked at full-sized strollers lightweight, umbrella strollers, and jogging strollers. The one thing I did worry about was me pushing a stroller too small for me. We decided to get the uppababy vista v2 and mesa travel system, I like the height and durability of it. I never thought in million years a stroller would cost $1,300.
“Morton”, she calls.
“Yes, baby”, I answer.
“We are hungry again”, she said whining a little.
“Okay there is a restaurant on the next floor let go there”
“Is it normal for me to be hungry like this?’, she asked.
“Yes, you are carrying a wolf pup with Alpha blood. The bigger he gets the more red meat you will want”, I explain.
The restaurant is called Blue Moon it is also owned by me and Seth. We were seated quickly I ordered a rare T-bone steak with fries; she ordered a boneless lamb leg with garlic potatoes. We sat in silence and ate. She seems to have something on her mind. I hope she is not worried about Stephan. I love what pregnancy is doing to her body, her breast is getting larger, and her ass is as well. I can’t wait until she is swollen with my pup inside her.
When I found her, she was skin and bones. Her frame looks as if she has always been petite. So, the pup is going wonders for her body. The doctor did tell her that the close she gets to being due, the hungrier she will get. I enjoy watching her stuff her face with the lamb. I mind link the waitress and had some made to go.
