**Cleo POV: **
"Rogues", once West said that my heart dropped. How did those horrible things end up on pack land?
"Cleo baby I need you and Jazz to go to the saferoom and don't come out until we come to get you", Valenzano says as he and West walk out of the house.
When we looked out the door, we can hear the alarms, howls, and growls. Valenzano and West were giving orders to guard the perimeter of the house. Once Jazz and I were in the safe room we are able to watch what is going on outside via surveillance camera.
We see West rip a Rouge head off with his mouth his wolf is slightly bigger than Valenzano and darker. Valenzano hasn't shifted yet I see him rip a rouge apart. It looks like we are winning.
I see something odd, while a group of rogues are fighting another group is heading to the pack hospital. I turn the channel to get to the pack hospital it is unprotected, there is no one in there but the newly born pups.
I can't mind link anyone to tell them what is going on and that the pups are in danger. I run to the armory in the next room and grab four Taurus TX-22 pistols and a sword. My dad use to say swords are the weapons of Kings.
"Jazz takes these we have to go", I say as I hand Jazz two Taurus TX-22 pistols.
"What.... why?", she said in shock.
"Because there are a group of Rogues headed to the hospital where the pups are and they are unprotected", I pointed to the screen. She looks and grabs the guns and we had outside. Once we got the front door the Warriors left to protect us try to stop us.
"Ladies, Alpha order you can't go anywhere, go back and inside the safe room please", one of the warriors say to us.
"NO! there a group of rogues headed to the hospital the pups are in danger. Either you come with us or get out of our way", I say to the warriors. They look at each other and nod.
"Ok ladies get on", one of the warriors say as he lay down so Jazz and I get on and we head towards the hospital.
"Mind link your Alpha and Beta and tell them where we are going", I ordered the Warriors.
As an Alpha daughter, it was required for me to train. And as a human I had to train harder than any another person in my pack. I am trained in hand-to-hand combat, sword, guns, and I can even make bombs. We finally make it to the hospital lucky the rogues haven't arrived yet, but we are here waiting for them.
We will protect the pups with our lives. Jazz and I go inside while the Warriors stay outside. It's too many of them for us to carry away to safety so we will have to stand our ground until help arrives. We will be the last defense for these pups, we will give our lives to protect them.
We set a premiere around the nursey. The nursey and hospital staff are locked in the nursey with the pups while we stand guard. We hear the howls and growls of the fight outside the hospital Jazz and I wait with anticipation then we hear its pounding paw steps toward the nursery.
"Jazz headshots only. Don't waste ammo with body shots", I say as the sound becomes closer.
"How many how much ammo do we have each gun hold 16 bullets, so we have 32 bullets each so we need to make it count", I say as I focus on the doors.
"That should be enough until help arrives", she says not trying to sound worried.
"You take the door on the left and I take the door on the right. Jazz if you run out of ammo run, run back to the house if you can or to the nearest place of safety don't look back and don't worry about me", I say as I see tears coming out of her eyes.
Two rogues come through the door on the left and Jazz and shot it in the head. Three come through the door on the right and I take them down. They kept coming and we kept shooting, the bodies piled up, and the ammo ran out. Then we heard a howl a howl so magnificent it made me wet. Only one person can do that to me.
"Jazz, Valenzano is on his way we need to hold on until he and West get here", she nods and keeps focused on the doors.
"Okay, but I am out of ammo in one gun", she says then a huge rouge jumped in the window.
"Jazz, I got him to keep your position", I said to her as the wolf ran towards us.
**Valenzano POV: **
Fucking rogues how dare they come on my land. I can concentrate on fighting knowing that Cleo and Jazz are safe in the safe room and there are 20 warriors protecting the house perimeter. I killed about ten rogues while still in my human form. West on the other hand shifted and I killed every rouge he comes in contact with.
I get a mind link from the warrior I left protecting the ladies. Telling me that rogues are heading towards the hospital and Cleo and Jazz are going to protect the pups. FUUCCKK, why didn't they stay their asses in the house, I look at West and he runs towards the hospital. I shift and run with him.
"Mate is in trouble", Vintages says.
"I know we are going there now", I said to him.
We get to the hospital and we see dead rogues and warriors in front of the building. West and I run to the nursery floor. We hear the commotion, once we get to the floor, we are shocked. Jazz was holding her own shooting rogues. Cleo is cutting down rogues with a silver sword. She reminds me of an Amazonian Queen, strong, powerful, and feminine. I must admit I would have never thought they could hold their own like that. Cleo is clearly the daughter of an Alpha.
"Mate is a warrior ", Vintage says with pride.
"Yes, she is", I say with a laugh.
"So are we going to let the girls have all the fun", West asks with a smirk.
"Nope", and with that, I howl, and we charged to help the girls.
It felt so good to fight beside my mate. I am mad at her for leaving the safety of the house. But I am proud of her for wanting to protect the packs' pups. I mind link the other warriors to tell them I want at least four rogues captured alive. I want answers we haven't had rogue attacks in decades.
I also want a full report on how many are on our side and how many for the rogues. My mind link was broken by Cleo's scream, one of the rogues put his filthy hands on her scratched her, and made her bleed. I ran to him and ripped him in half. I brought my attention to Cleo hugged her tight and inhaled her scent. I looked over at West he was doing the same to Jazz.
"Don't.... ever.... do.... that.... shit.... again", I say as I kiss her in-between words. She whines and I take her are and lick it the wound heals instantly.
"Valenzano, they were heading to the hospital. The pups were in danger, I couldn't watch them get taken or worst", she says.
"Thank you for caring my love, you are an amazing Luna", I say with pride.
We go to the nursery to make sure the pups and staff are okay. Parents of the pups arrive and thank us for protecting the pups. Once we back to the house I got back to the house the report was waiting for me. It seems like it was a small rouge army.
About fifty rogues entered my pack lands, whoever is on border patrol will be punished if they are not dead already. That is the law for patrolling the borders you die before you let an enemy into the pack lands. The report indicates all rogues are dead except four that are being held in the dungeons.
Down to the dungeons to integrate the captured rogues. My mate and her friend decided they wanted to come I reluctantly said they could. I hate telling Cleo no for anything. If she was to ask me to step down as Alpha, I might give it a thought that's how much I love her. Damn the smell is bad I really need to get someone clean in here.
I guess that will be the punishment for the warriors who were on border patrol when the rogues attacked since Cleo doesn't want me to kill them. They are hanging in the cell and I hear Cleo and Jazz gasp at the sight of the rogues. Rouge number four could be no more than 15 years old.
"Why did you attack my land', I asked rogue number one. He just looks and me and grins. I punch him in the face. The younger one starts to talk.
"Our leader ordered us to", he says as he pees on himself.
"It's okay, we will not hurt you”, I hear Cleo say to the young rogue.
"Cleo, they are rogues", I said as I roll my eyes. Lunas are supposed to be nice. But I do not need her to be nice right now.
"I know they are rogues, but they are also the Moon Goddess creations like you so treat them with respect", this woman is amazing, but I can have her challenge my authority if from of these rogues.
"Cleo, we need to find out why they attacked us", I am trying not to yell at her.
"I know and I want to know why as well, but you catch more bees with honey than vinegar", she said looking me in the eyes.
"Well, my love if you can do better than by all means go ahead", I say sarcastically.
"Your Luna is a strong one our leader would love to break her in", says rogue number two. He gets knocked out just like rogue number one.
