**Bastet POV: **
That nap I took gave me life. I am so energized I feel like at seven months pregnant I can climb a mountain. Unfortunately, I had to get redressed you think werewolves will not be so iffy about nudity? I put on one of Seth's t-shirts and walked downstairs for my late afternoon snack. When I get downstairs Sherry, Stephan, and a fussy Haruo are in the living room together.
“Hey, guys what's up?”, I asked.
“Nothing Stephan came over to give me a letter Sol wrote”, Sherry said.
“Oh”, was all I can say.
“Here read it and give me your opinion”, Sherry said as she handed me a letter.
As I read the letter Sherry and Stephan watch my facial expressions. I mind like an Omega to come and bring me my usual French-dipped roast beef sandwich with extra onions. Sol is trying to make things better between her and Sherry. And if I had to be honest, if I was Sherry I would give her another chance.
Damn, I feel bad it seems like Sherry and Sol had a close friendship before I came along. The food came when I finished reading the letter. I ate my food as I thought of the right thing to say. It is clear in the letter that Sherry and Sol were friends and Sol misses her friendship. When I finished eating, I told Sherry how I felt.
“Do you miss your friendship with Sherry?”, I asked.
“Honestly I do. And Morton misses his sister as well”, Sherry said.
“Well, you should give her a chance. I am sure you can split your time between me and Sherry”, I said with a smile.
“After what all she has done to you, you want me to be friends with her?”, Sherry said shocked as Stephan just looks at me like I am crazy.
“You guys were friends before you met me and honestly would you feel the same way if I wasn’t your mate best friend mate?”, I asked already knowing the answer.
“No, but you are my mate's best friend mate. You are out Luna my loyalty will always be towards you”, Sherry said.
I told Sherry that rebuilding her relationship with Sol will be good for both of them. Stephan looked at me in astonishment. I know wolves are not as forgiven as humans are. Sherry should not be in the position where she has to choose, she is friends with. Besides we are all family. Yeah, Sol might not like me, hell she might not ever like me but she is still family and a member of this pack. As Sherry and I talked Stephan left with Haruo to go somewhere.
“Bastet, I have something to tell you”, Sherry said excitedly.
“Oh, my are you pregnant again?”, I asked
“Havens no, Morton spoke to Seth and he said I can be turned whenever I am ready”, she said smiling hard. I guess both go our mates were thinking the same thing.
“Sin asked me the same thing”, I said.
“What did you do day?”, she asked.
“I told him I would like to get turned but I want to wait until the girl is eighteen”, I said rubbing my stomach.
“Why wait so long? Having a pup while human is tough on the body. Especially if the pup is of Alpha blood”, Sherry said.
“I just do not want my daughter to be the only human in the family. Also, I want her to decide if she wants to be turned or not”, I said thinking about my baby girl.
“I am sure she will. But from the look on your face that is not your only concern”, Sherry said as she read my facial expressions.
“Also, on top of that if she is Jason's child he would not want her to be turned and I have to respect his wished as her bio dad", I said thinking about Jason.
“Have you told Seth about your worries?”, Sherry asked.
“Hell, no Seth and Sin will lose their shit if I tell him about it”, I said hoping she does not tell Morton. Because she will tell Seth.
“You have to tell him. He is your mate he will understand you two should have no secrets”, Sherry said to me with pleading eyes.
“Okay, I will tell him as soon as I get the nerve to do so”, I said.
“Just do it before the baby is born okay? It at least will give you guys something to talk about it before she gets here”, she said.
“So, are you going to write Sol back?”, I asked trying to change the subject.
“Yes, as a matter of fact, I am but I want to talk to Morton about it first. And maybe convince him to write her a letter as well”, she said with a smile.
“What are you guys smiling about", Morton said.
“A lot but I will let Sherry tell you while I go find my mate”, I said as I get up to look for Seth.
**Morton POV: **
I finished my work for the day. As I was working, I felt Sherry's emotions they went from sad and happy within minutes. We have been trying to figure out how to limit any casualties for when the hunters come back for Bastet. Seth and I agreed to be prepared for a fight. We both assume that her lover will not give her out without a fight.
“What are you guys smiling about", I said.
“A lot but I will let Sherry tell you while I go find my mate”, Bastet said as I get up to look I assume to look for Seth.
“Where is Haruo?”, I asked my smiling mate.
“He is somewhere around here with Stephan”, I said relaxing under his touch.
“Baby, what was Bastet talking about?”, I asked.
“Morton sits down”, I said then he sat down.
“Baby what is it I can feel your emotions?”, I asked.
“Sol wrote me a letter”, I said looking at him.
“And what did it say?”, he asked nervously.
“Here ready it for yourself”, she said as she handed me a letter.
I honestly do not know how to feel. By the content of this letter, I can tell Sol is hurting. She is stuck in a house with only her mate to comfort her. I do miss my sister all she had was me. But her actions chose me to choose sides. It is clear that she missed me and Sherry. Which I understand because Sol was the first friend Sherry's had when she came here. I hope that her therapy is helping because I want my little sister back; I want her to be involved in the pup's life. But if her therapist and Stephan think she is a danger to Haruo I will not allow her to be in his life.
“Are you okay babe?”, Sherry asked.
“Yeah, I am okay. Are you going to write her back?”, I asked.
“Yes, Bastet said I should”, she said I am surprised Bastet is okay with it.
“That is good”, I said as I hugged her.
“What about you babe? Are you going to write her as well?”, Sherry asked.
“Yes, actually I think we should write her for a while before we actually visit her”, I said rebuilding a foundation is important before rebuilding a house.
“Good I am going to write her back today and give it to Stephan, you should do the same thing”, she said then she kissed me.
Morton left and then came back with two pads of paper and two pens. He hands me one and started writing on the other. As we wrote we did not ask each other what we are writing we just wrote. I must say it does feel good to communicate with my sister. When I was don’t I put it and an envelope and gave it to Sherry so she can give it to Stephan to give to Sol. I took off to go for a run.
