**Bastet POV: **
“Ego Bastet Helsingam illam praefectum Ioannem Burdigalensem laesae maiestatis auctorem!”, I yelled towards the charging men. (I Bastet Helsing her by charge John Bordeaux with high treason!). The field was full of gasps no one could believe they were seeing me right now. I looked at John he had a look of fear on his face. Then he looks at my stomach and frowns.
“Everyone stand down. My baby, I knew you were not dead”, my dad said as we ran towards each other.
“Baby, I missed you so much”, Jason said as he hugged me. Then Seth growled.
Jason looked down at me and noticed my stomach and frowned, "What did he do to you”, he said.
“Jason it is not what you think
“NOT WHAT HE THINKS. YOUR BELLY IS SWOLLEN WE CAN ALL SEE IT THROUGH THE ARMOR. THE, BY THE WAY, IS NOT YOURS!”, Dad yelled.
“THE BABY IS NOT MINE!”Seth yelled a sigh of relief came from both Dad and Jason.
“Then the baby is mine”, Jason said with a smile.
“I KNEW YOU WERE A WHORE!”, we hear John yell from across the field. Struggling to get out of the hold of Pell and San.
“AND YOU ARE A TRADER!”, Jason yelled then punched John in the face.
“Can someone tell me what is going on?!”, my dad said confused and pissed off.
I told them all about the day of the mission and how John shot when he saw Seth kiss me. I told all of them how Seth took care of me and how I was his mate. Shamefully I told them all that I do not know who the father of my child is. The father could be Jason or John, my father looked a John with murder in his eyes. I looked at all of the men all of them looking at John with disgust. All but his uncle, he looks sad for John and I do not blame them
“You fucking coward you shot your pregnant wife, in an effort to kill her”, my dad said then kicked John in the face.
“I have always loved Bastet. But my wife is a whore. Her not knowing who the father of the child she is carrying is proof of it. I saw her kissing him, men risked their lives and lost them while she was kissing that animal. I had to deal with the embarrassment of her affair with McKee. She has been fucking him since he came back in town. She is a whore and you can try to sugarcoat her actions. I have never cheated on her nor looked at another woman. Can you honestly say Bastet that you did not fuck him while pregnant with another man's child”, he said with blood coming out of his mouth.
"So you and Terry started fucking after you thought you had killed your wife?", Jason said.
"You are fucking my best friend!", I yelled.
“Damn I thought my family was fucked up”, Stephan said with a laugh. I looked at him and she shut his mouth.
“Did you Bas? Did you give yourself to him", Jason asked with sad eyes.
“I did Jason he is my mate and the bond was calling me”, I said with shame.
“You have nothing to be ashamed about”, Seth said as he hugged me.
“It doesn't matter who my daughter had sex with. John, you still committed treason and will be punished for such", Dad said looking at everyone present daring one of the men to say something out of pocket.
“Morton take him to the dungeons please”, I asked. “Yes Luna”, he said then took John to the dungeons.
“WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO WITH MY NEPHEW?!”, John's uncle Tom yelled.
“Tell me as my best friend you did not know anything about his treason?”, Dad asked John's uncle Tom with pleading eyes.
“I can't lie to my best friend. I did, not when he did it. I found out a couple of weeks ago”, John's uncle Tom said with shame.
“You are my best friend and third in command. You knew how much I mourned my daughter and you said nothing”, my dad said with disappointment.
“I did, to protect him my nephew”, Tom said hanging his head in shame.
“Because you are my best friend and saved me more times than I can count you will not die. I Abrams Helsing hereby banish you for the Hunters association”, my dad said with pain him his voice.
“As you will but I would like to be here for my nephew's execution”, John's uncle Tom said with tears in his eyes.
I told Dad and Jason that I wanted to have a DNA test done. Knowing the father of my baby is important, to me and her in the future. Seth allowed the men to stay on our land as long as they handed over their ammo. In which Dad agreed, I invited John's uncle as well. He did not do anything wrong he was trying to protect his nephew. Seth, Dad, Morton, Stephan, Gator, John's uncle Tom, Jason, and his father sat in the living room while I went to change out of this armor. I am dreading telling them that I will be not coming back. That I am choosing to stay with Seth and the pack.
Once I was in the shower I cried my heart out. I know Seth can feel my emotions so I mind-linked him to stay where he is. It all hit me so fast my dad and Jason are here. I have to execute my husband after the DNA test results. I got out of the shower and calmed down a lot. It wasn't till all the adrenaline was out of me that I felt my labor pains again and I yelled for Seth. Fuck how did I forget I was in labor before all this happened. I guess the pain meds wore off.
