Stephan and I have been getting close lately. It feels good to be courted by a man. He makes me a priority when Seth made me an option. That’s why I hate the fact that he gives Bastet so much attention. The day he told me that he is releasing me from our courtship my heart shattered and it was all because of her. How could he even think he should be with her, she is a human, married, huntress. She could never understand his struggle as an Alpha. Her people have killed our kind for centuries.
I am going to have fun and relax on my date. I picked out a floor-length black halter top dress and paired it with red shoes. My hair was the hardest to do since it's short I always leave it down but I want something different. I googled hairstyles and found one I like; the style is a French braided up to a top bun. Youtube is a girl's best friend I have no idea how to braid, but I managed it tonight. When I was done with my hair, I gave myself a smokey eye, eye shadow with a hit of red that matched my shoes. I walked down the stairs and Stephan is waiting for me wearing a charcoal suit.

We drove away and I noticed that we are going towards the human town. I guess he wants to get away from everyone. We pulled up to the restaurant it is called Premium Aliments I know the food is going to be good. The inside is nice there are women in cages dancing sexually. I ordered baked apple brie as an appetizer and beef Burgandy for my entrée. Stephan ordered coquilles saint-jacques for an appetizer and French onion pork chops as his entrée. We both ordered olive oil cake for dessert.
“Sol, there is something I need to talk to you about”, he said hesitantly.
“Sure, baby what's up”, I said excitedly.
“Seth, Morton, Gator, and I notice the way you look at Bastet”, he said and my heart stops.
“So, you want to talk about her”, I said with an eye roll.
“Yes, and no I just want to know what the problem is that you have with her. You have to understand my position she is my brother's mate and if she decides to stay, she will be his Luna. And you will be mine we don’t want any problems”, he said and it pisses me off.
“Just like the last bl....bitch she came in and took what is mine. If you were in my shoes, you would feel like I do too”, I said.
“You are right I would I would also let that person go if I found my second chance mate”, he said calmly,
“You don’t get it these women come in and take our men and they treat them like queens. While women like me are left only the aint shit men out here in the world”, I said pissed off.
“These women? Are you talking about black women, human women, or black human women?”, he asked pissed off.
“If you have to ask you already know the answer”, I said trying not to snap at him. I thought this night was going to be about us.
“I was hoping Morton was wrong”, he whispered but loud enough for me to hear it.
“Can we talk about this another time and just enjoy our time together please”, I said with pleading eyes.
“Sure, care to dance while we wait for our dessert”, he asked me with a smile
