**Stephan POV: **
“Hey guy I need to talk to you over lunch", I said.
“Sure, please keep it PG”, Seth said
“No problem”, I said laughing
We walked to a dinner nearby. We all order T-bone steak and eggs. Danny was happy eating and coloring on the menu. Now is the perfect time to talk to Morton about Haruo
“So, last night Sol and I have a conversation about heirs”, I said drawing everyone's attention but Dannys.
“You trying to put a pup in her already”, Gator said.
“For the love of Goddess please keep it PG. I already have to explain balls to him”, I said covering Danny's ears.
“Okay, a no she wants pups. I want to wait for obvious reasons. Then she goes on to say as an Alpha I need an heir. I told her I have Haruo”, I said and Morton stopped eating.
“What about Haruo”, Morton said.
“I told her I wasn’t sure if Haruo will be the next Beta of Seth's pack or be the next Alpha of mine. He does have Alpha blood”, I said.
“I never thought about it honesty”, Morton said.
“How do you feel about it Seth”, Gator said.
“He is my nephew I would be okay with him being Danny Beta or the next Alpha of Stephans pack. How about you Morton”, Seth said.
“I know biologically not mine and of course, you would want him to be Alpha”, Morton said.
“Morton you are just as much his father as I am. Under wolf law, I have to calm him. Hell, I am lucky you and Sherry allow me in his life at all”, I said.
“How about he train as both and let him decide what he wants to do? I am sure by that time you both will have more pups”, Gator said.
“Damn Gator if I had any doubt about making you my Beta that is out the door now”, I said laughing.
“I agree with Gator”, Morton said.
“Well let's get back to our crazy mates”, I said.
“You are the only one who has a crazy mate waiting for him”, Seth said.
“If you say so”, I said with an eye roll.
“I don’t envy the three of you. I like to have sex with whoever I want no mate to nag me”, Gator said.
“You say that now until you meet your mate trust me you will not want anyone else”, Seth said.
“If that is the case, I can wait to find mine. I am having too much fun "Gator said.
The ride back to the pack was full of laughter. I can't wait to get back to see Haruo. Plus is still have to talk to Sol to let her know what Morton and I decided. I hope she does not flip out. If she does, I will just give her some dick. We said our goodbyes I told Morton that I will back later to see Haruo. I nod to the guard outside the house he nods back. I open the door and there she is in the same spot painting.
“Sol”, I said and she looked at me and smiled.
“Hey, Stephan how was the suit fitting”, she asked.
“It was great actually. The guys and I had a nice time out today. I had a talk with Morton about Haruo's future.
“Okay, great so when can we start having pups?', she asked.
“Not anytime soon. Morton and I agreed to let Haruo decide if he wants to be Beta of Seth's pack or my heir”, I said waiting for her to go off.
“So, what that mean is our pup is overlooked because you have a pup outside the mate bond?!”, Sol said yelling.
“No matter how many pups I have Haruo is my firstborn”, I said.
“So, our pups suffer because you have a bastard that you legally have no right to!”, she yelled.
“Watch your tone no matter if I legally have rights to him or not, he is still my son. And you will respect him as such”, I said not wanting to yell at her.
“Great not only am I your second chance mate, but our pups will be second to you as well”, she said starting to cry.
“We both have a past. We did things that affect what we have going on now”, I said wiping her tear.
After she calm down, she went to sleep. As soon as she was asleep, I put her in the bed and then went to go see Harou. I smelled him before I was in when I walked into the door. Sherry pointed down I looked and Harou is crawling towards me. I pick him up and hug him, I am so lucky that Sherry and Morton allowed me to be in his life.
“Hey buddy you came to meet me at the door”, I said as he grabbed my ear.
“I think he sensed you. He crawls to me and Morton whenever we are near. He was just playing on the floor and started crawling to the door”, Sherry said.
“Yeah, it’s a wolf thing. Pups can sense who is in the inter-family of the pack. They are especially drawn to their parents”, I said.
“Great now I have to worry about him crawling around to find us”, she said.
“Do me a favor keep him away from Sherry for a while”, I said. I don't want to worry them. But if Sol doesn't get her shit together I will have to send her away. My pup's safety is my first priority.
“Why, she would not hurt him would she?”, Sherry asked worried.
“Who would not hurt whom”, Morton said walking towards me and kissing Haruo on the cheek.
I explained to them about the conversation with Sol. And how she did not take the news well. Morton has a look of disappointment on his face I know it is hard to hear this about his sister. No one wants to admit that their sibling will harm an innocent pup.
“I know my sister she will not hurt a child”, Morton said trying to convince himself more than us.
“We are talking about the same person who killed her mate because he chose a woman who was carrying his pup over her”, Sherry said.
“I can talk to her”, Morton said.
“Right now, she is sleeping”, I said stopping Morton from going to the house.
“Stephan she is your mate you have to do something with her”, Sherry said.
“I will never let her hurt Haoru. I will put her down before I let that happen”, I said then Morton growled.
“I know you don’t want to hear it Morton but I will not allow her to hurt our son", I said to him.
“This is just a lot to deal with. We have to watch her around Bastet now Haruo”, Sherry said worriedly.
“Morton when she wakes up go talk to her maybe me being me, I might have read her wrong”. I said hoping I have no reason to be worried.
“I am sure you did not read it wrong", Morton said with a grim expression.
“Sol and I have always gotten along. Why would she want to hurt my baby”, Sherry said.
“Because he is a will be first if he chooses to be Alpha while her pup will be second. And Sol hates to be anybody's second choice”, Morton said.
“Where did this come from?”, I asked.
“Our father, he never wanted a daughter only a son and he did not hide how he felt her whole life”, Morton said
“But why”, I asked.
“Our dad was a strong Beta he wanted to leave the world knowing he left strong sons. But a daughter he said weakened his bloodline. He always thought Sol would be mated with a low-rank wolf”, Morton said.
“I never knew your dad to be such a dick”, I said.
“Do you feel the same way?”, Sherry asked whit her hands on her hips.
“No actually I want a daughter, another woman I will pamper and love”, Morton said with a smile then Sherry kissed him.
“Well, I for damn sure is not having more pups any time soon", I said as I cradled Haruo.
“We need to figure something out. If she has a problem with Haruo she damn sure might have a problem with Bastet baby”, Sherry said. Shit, I did not even think about that.
I stayed a couple of hours playing with Haruo and Danny. Danny is excited about Bastet's baby. Sol's mind links me, I tell Morton she is awake he goes to see her. I really hope their conversation does well.
