**Valenzano POV: **
Waking up next to Cleo always brings a smile to my face, I can't imagine not waking up to her every morning. She is sound asleep I don't blame her after her stressful day yesterday. I have a business to attend to I mind link West and tell him to bring Don and Nutri need to be in my office waiting for me. I sneak out of bed and do my morning routine trying my best not to wake Cleo.
Knowing if she wakes up, she will try to convince me of mine and Vintage decision. I saw everything yesterday; I am proud of Vintage and the way he handled the situation. And today is the day Cleo will get her apology. I walk to my office and is greeted by the warriors, I walk in is see West, Alpha Don, and Nutri in my office.
"Good morning, Alpha Don, Luna Nutri", I say with a smile.
"Good morning, Alpha", they said.
"The reason we are here today is because of the disrespect that was done to my guest yesterday", I said in my Alpha tone.
"With all due respect Alpha, the issue between that girl and us have nothing to do with you", Don says as his mate looks at us.
"That may be true, but you made the issue my issue when you disrespected my guest who is under my protection on my land, which is disrespectful to me", I say trying not to get angry.
"You don't know our history Valenzano", Nutri speaks.
"I do and it's Alpha to you.... I was made aware weeks before you guys came here", I said ignoring her plea.
"So, you should understand?", Don questions.
"What I understand is that you blame a 16-year-old girl for the death of your daughter, slaughtered her pack, and killed her chosen mate in front of her", I didn't want to say chosen mate but that was what he was.
"From my understanding, your daughter killed herself because her mate rejected her, you took your revenge on him and his family. Leave the past in the past", West says.
"That being said you two will apologize to Cleo for everything, the slaughter of her pack, family, mate, and the disrespect you Luna Nutri caused yesterday, and you will do it publicly", I say as I point to both of them.
"That's not going to happen", Don said as he crosses his arms over his chest.
"Is that so", I say as Vintage tries to take control.
"Alpha Don you would really put your pack at risk over something as simple as an apology," West asks.
"Beta West is it not the simple", Nutri says.
"It is Cleo is the only innocent one in this situation, you got your revenge now move on", West says if he wasn't my brother, I would be upset how protective he is of her.
"Bottom line is this you have one hour to decide if you are going to apologize or not, it's up to you. After an hour if I don't have a response, I will wipe out your pack and save both of you for last", I said.
"YOU CAN'T DO THAT", Don yells.
"WATCH YOUR FUCKING TONE DON! And yes I can, your Luna attacked someone on my lands which is an act of war, I am willing to forgive and forget if you both apologize it's that simple", I say trying not to rip his throat out.
"Don you may leave, West please have the warriors take the Luna back to the dungeons while we await their decision", I say as I dismiss them.
For their sake, I hope they do the right thing. If I have to wipe out his pack I will, Cleo will be mad at me, but she will get over it, I hope. Even if she wasn't my mate, I could not let the disrespect slide. I mind link, my warrior, to tell them to prepare for war is necessary but do it discreetly. In my own thought, my door opens and Cleo walks in, she is wearing short shorts and a swimsuit underneath. She looks mad for some reason.
"Why did I see Alpha Don and Luna Nutri leaving your office and Luna Nutri is still not free", she says with an attitude.
"Baby, good morning", I say with a smile.
"Valenzano don't play with me. Please answer my question", She says walking over sitting on my desk facing me.
"Okay...okay I told them to apologize to you and do it publicly", I said smiling at her she looks so sexy.
"I told Vintage that is not necessary, and why is the Luna going back to the dungeons", she asked still mad.
"This isn't about you and Luna Nutri is going to the dungeons because they have an hour to decide if they will apologize or not", I say kissing her thigh.
"Not about me right...so why do they have to apologize", she says lifting her eyebrow.
"Because what Luna Nutri did is an act of war and she knows it, you can't attack anyone on my lands and not suffer the consequence", I say as I play with her wet folds.
"And if they don't apologize what are the consequences", she says as she pushes my hand from her. I take a deep breath I really don't want to tell her, but she will find out anyway.
"I will destroy their pack", I say knowing she is going to be mad.
"NO! you can't do that. You can't kill innocent people because their Alpha and Luna are assholes.", she says as she gets off my desk.
"I have to their disrespect will cause a domino effect, if I let it slide", I say trying to hold her, but she keeps backing up.
"They won't apologize please don't do this Valenzano, I do anything you want.... just please don't do this", she says with pleading eyes. She said anything I might have to make an exception.
"Anything.... fine I won't make them apologize...and won't destroy their pack if you stay here with me as my mate and Luna", I say as I nibble her ear.
"Valenzano this is not the way to get me to stay here", she says as she looks me in my eyes fighting back tears.
"I know baby I just thought I would try you did say you would do anything...but I will think about not killing anyone okay", I say kissing her cheek.
"Okay, I will be at the pool if you needed me", she says as she kissed me and left.
This girl is going to be the death of me. I am stuck between rock and a hard place. I understand Cleo doesn't want anyone to die and I don't want her to feel guilty if I have to kill someone. I can always ask women, children, and the elderly to surrender to me safely.
I hope Don won't let his pride ruin his pack safety. I mind link West and tell him to let Don and Nutri have a sometime to together to decide and then when their hour is up, bringing them to my office.
Half an hour later West brought Don and Nutri to my office and I waited for them speak; they agreed to apologize to Cleo publicly. I mind link the warriors to have everyone gather at the town square and connect the mics. I go get Cleo and West get Jazz, we didn't tell them where we were going and why.
I watch with pride as Don and Nutri confessed what they did to Cleo pack and apologize to her. Everyone gasps at their confession, some had family in that pack and now they know the true story behind their deaths. I watch as Don and Nutri lost the respect of their allied pack and my pack members. Cleo being the woman she is, she accepts their apology and left.
"Are you okay babe", I say to Cleo.
"Yes, I am going sleep in my room tonight...can you have someone bring my dinner up and send my apologies to our guest", she says, I know she is emotionally tired.
