"Does that mean my babies can die if they don't have enough energy to feed off", she asked with sorrow in her eyes.
"Yes, we could lose our pups...and you could die as well depending on how the lack of energy has affected your body", I said as I rubbed her stomach.
"I would never put my kids in danger. I love you and our babies. Yes, I am scared of what could happen, but my heart tells me you will protect us with everything you have", she says as she kisses me passionately. Well, that was easier than I thought it would be.
"Come hell or high water, I will protect you and our pups with my life and everyone else living in the pack", I said, then kissed her.
