**Seth POV: **
After my nap with Bastet, I got up and went back to my office. I need to figure out how to prevent a massacre when her people come. As well as find out who is the biological father of our daughter. I want to turn Bastet really bad; I fear that one day Sin will forcefully gain control and bite her against her will. I mind link Morton; Stephan and I know Gator will come. Just as I was looking over the patrol schedule and pack map, they walked in.
“Someone is in a mood”, Stephan said.
“You can say that”, I said back to him.
“What's wrong?”, Morton asked.
“Bastet told me the real reason why she does not want me to turn her yet”, I said.
“This can't be good. What is the reason”, Stephan said.
“Well, she said if her ex-lover is the baby's father. He would not want the child to be turned. And if that happens, she would not want to be turned as well”, I said sadly.
“That does not make sense”, Stephan said.
“It does, she doesn’t want the child to be the only human in the family”, Morton said.
“I am sure Sin is pissed off”, Stephan said.
“Yes, he is. So much so he might forcefully turn her”, I said trying not to get mad.
“Let him, it's not like she is going to leave”, Stephan said with a shrug.
“Are you crazy Bastet is dangerous as an angry human? Can you imagine her as an angry she wolf”, Morton said.
“Give her some time. Even if her ex-lover is the father there is a chance the child will want to be turned regardless of who her bio dad is. She will be raised with the pack, cousins, sisters, and brothers and will have wolves she might want one or two. Just give it some time”, Gator said I never thought him to be a wise one.
“Bastet does not want to have any pup unless she is a wolf”, I said getting sadder.
“You are the Alpha put your foot down. Tell her to pick her poison she can't have it both ways", Stephan says.
“Don not listens to him Seth you act aggressively Bastet will have your balls literally”, Morton said.
“Shit, it already looks like she has them already. Hey, Seth, is she using them as paperweights”, Stephan said laughing causing me to growl at him.
“Changing the subject now. I finished the patrol schedule I was thinking instead of increasing control we increase the range of control?", I asked.
“That's a good idea, I will have my men do that”, Stephan said.
We came up with a schedule that fits both of our packs. Our Betas will make sure the shifts and shift changes run smoothly. Some will be in the trees and some on the ground. Stephan men will be paroled in a circle surrounding the pack about 2-3 meters out. After we finished Stephan hands me and Morton a letter, he said it is from Sol. I opened it and read it out loud.
*Dear Seth,
Please accept my apology for my actions. I never meant to disrespect you and cause a rift between you, my brother, and my mate. You have been like a brother to me. You and Morton were all I had when my parents died. Attacking Bastet was disrespectful to you as my former Alpha and as my friend. Please know I still care about you and Danny and will never hurt either one of you.
It is going to take some time for me to get over the issues I have. But know that I am very sorry for my ill-mannered behavior.

“She sounds like she is getting better. I do not suppose there is a letter for Bastet”, I said.
“Rome was not built in a day. She wrote Sherry and Morton the day before yesterday”, Stephan said and Morton nods.
“I can guess this is part of her recovery”, I said.
“Yes, it is. She is on medication to help her. I get weekly updates from her therapist; she is doing better. Her breakthrough will come once she can admit her feelings for Bastet is wrong”, Stephan said.
“I do have a fondness for Sol she was going to be my Luna after all and before that, we were close friends”, I said.
“Then you should write her back”, Morton said.
“I just might do that, but I should talk to my Luna first”, I said.
“Sherry and I decided to write her for a while before going to see her. If our visit goes well, we might bring Haruo with us”, he said.
“She is going that good huh?”, I asked.
“I hope so honestly I miss her”, Morton said with a sad expression. I know he kind of blames himself for her behavior. But he is not to blame.
“She misses you and Sherry as well”, Stephan said.
They left and I went to go and see if Bastet is up yet. When I get to our room Danny is sitting on the bed talking to the baby. He looks so cute telling the baby about how his day is going. His face is priceless feeling the baby move in Bastet's stomach. He is going to be a great big brother. I can see him protecting her from the hormonal males of the pack.
"You are going to be such a good brother", Bastet said.
"And you a good mommy", Danny said smiling at her.
"I surely hope so", Bastet said laughing.
"You will. I can tell", Danny said rubbing her belly.
"And how do you know that?", Bastet asked.
"Because you are a good mommy to me", Danny said.
"Well, since you put it that way it makes sense. Because I do love you, Danny. And am happy to be your mommy", Bastet said causing me to smile.
"And I am happy you are my new mommy", Danny said.
