Chapter 22: One-Night Stand Stalker
I straddled Scarlett as our kisses became more fevered. Her arms wrapped around the back of my neck. My hands trailed down her small waist, feeling her smooth skin that I could never get tired of touching. My hands swiftly flew back up to her breasts, eagerly massaging the both of them. One of my hands moved to hungrily clasp the squishy skin with my mouth. Her back instantly arched as she let out a louder moan. I had forgotten how much I loved the sounds I’d make her give, they were so high-pitched, and goddamn do I love feeling like I’m in control. Scarlett knew the routine and she tilted her head back, allowing my hand to grasp her neck and she shivered again as she prepared for my addicting squeeze.
As soon as my instincts began to scream for more, she suddenly let out a sharp scream and jumped into my arms. It startled me so much that I leaped an inch into the air like a spooked cat. She tried to cover her breasts in one of her arms while pointing at the window. “Somebody’s watching us!”
“The hell?” I looked out the window that I never bothered covering up. But this time, sure enough, I see the flash of a shadow.
Oh hell nah.
“Stay here,” I tell Scarlett while covering her with a blanket and then sprinting out of the room, almost running into the wall in the process. I kicked the door open when coming outside and looked both ways. One of the things that pissed me off the most was people getting in my business and fuck was this the rotten cake.
I marched towards our window with my hands balled into tight fists, prepared to knock out the teeth of the peeping pervert. But, as expected despite my speed, they were already gone. I was able to look in our window and I saw Scarlett still sitting on the bed, the blanket wrapped tightly around her body with a fearful look on her face.
“Damn…” I muttered to myself while looking around again. It was frustrating as hell not being able to at least see the culprit. Whoever it was, they weren’t just a peeping tom looking for action. They were being extra careful.
I let out an annoyed huff while heading back inside. I had forgotten I was shirtless in my laced, black bra until a wolf whistle caught my attention. From the parking lot, I see a few men eyeballing me. I flip them off my middle finger before walking back into the brothel and into our room.
As soon as I did, Scarlet immediately jumped into my arms again. I could tell she was really shaken up by this so I held her tightly while rubbing her head. “Whoever it was, they’re gone now and I highly doubt they’ll be coming back. Look.” I proceed to lock the door and cover the window with their dark curtains. “See? All better. Now, come here.”
I spoke as I sat down on her bed. She gave a small smile in reassurance as she came over and sat on my lap like she normally does when she’s about to give me a lap dance. But this time she just kissed my forehead and then placed her cheek upon it.
Don’t say I love you. Don’t say I love you. Don’t say I love you.
I’m not ready to hear those words from anyone.
“Sukia…” She whispered my name again. I could hear her gulp as she hesitantly spoke up again with a shaky voice. “I…”
Before another word could slip past her ruby-red lips, I gripped her jawbone tightly and pulled her down into another passionate kiss. She melted under my touch as usual. I made sure to keep her lips and tongue busy from then on until she forgot what she was going to say. Though, deep down I knew she’d never forget. She’d only lose her nerve, and try again next time. It made me hesitant to see her again.
I spent the rest of the day with her. After we were done with the sex, we ordered some pizza with soda and then would have casual chitchats. She’d tell me every single thing that was going on in her life, both the good and the bad, and it felt like she was giving me her life story. I give a snarky opinion every now and again. Scarlett eventually wanted to take selfies with me and I declined, I hated having my picture taken even though Scarlett insisted that I was beautiful. When her begging fell on deaf ears, she decided to sneak one in while pressing her face against mine. No surprise, at first I’m pissed off but as soon as I saw how dorky we looked with her hair a mess and pizza sauce on my stuffed cheek, I snorted and decided to let her post it on social media anyway. And then we had some more hot sex. It was oddly relaxing for me.
Once it was midnight and I was preparing to leave, I was about to pay her for her services but she stubbornly declined, saying that spending time with me was all she needed. However, I’m more stubborn and paid her several hundred dollars, shocking her to the bone. I come from a filthy stinkin’ rich family now, of course, I can do that. I gave her a regrettable kiss goodbye and then had Jack pick me up and take me back to the August Mansion. Hell, my mood was so good that I gave him a lump of cash too, making him give the same reaction that Scarlett made.
All the lights were off in the mansion so I assumed everyone was already asleep. As soon as I walked in, I saw there was still a lamp in the living room left on and I about leaped out of my skin when I saw a tall silhouette of a man that I quickly recognized as Julian.
“What the FUCK, dude?! You scared the shit outta me! Again!” I snapped at him while trying to keep my voice low, I didn’t want my mom to know I had come home this late.
“Where were you?” He asked in a demanding, deep tone that threw me off guard. “Well??” He growled when I didn't answer him right away.
It took me a couple of seconds to process that this was really Julian to the point I just squinted at him confusedly. “Huh…? I… I was out?”
“Out where? Why’re you home so late? Anything could’ve happened to you!” His voice was still deep and cold as he stared me down with more intensity than usual. He began to pace back and forth too.
And Scarlett called me crazy!
“Julian. I used to sleep during the day and fuck around all night! Nothin’ ever happened to me then, and nothin’ will ever happen to me now. Fuck, I feel safer there than I do here!” I snarled back at him, I was beginning to lose my patience.
“The hell is that supposed to mean?” He eventually stopped pacing and stood in front of me. Being so close to him now, looming over me, I could feel his aggression. And it’s very rare that I ever feel intimidated. “Who were you with? And what were you doing?”
Is this really Julian??
Shook with surprise, my gaped mouth eventually closed with bared teeth as I spoke through with my next words. “You better back the fuck up right now, Julian! What I do is none of your fuckin’ business, you got that?” I then walked past the man, giving his shoulder a rough bump in the process and I muttered over my shoulder. “Just because you’re my brother doesn’t mean you control my life. Go do something that doesn’t involve helicoptering me.”
He didn’t say anything else as I walked away. I could feel his furious stare the entire time, giving me goosebumps. His blue eyes held so much ire-fueled fire that it almost looked like they were glowing in the dark. As soon as I was in my bedroom, I quickly locked the door and hoped he didn’t have a key.
“Holy shit…” I whispered to myself, actually feeling a rare nervousness in my veins. My instincts were screaming ‘danger’ at me. But what am I supposed to do? Runoff? I’d be ditching my mom!
I quickly shook my head in an attempt to get a hold of myself.
Julian was just freaking out because I’d been gone all day and he didn’t know where. That’s all.
Despite the thoughts I used to comfort myself, I highly doubt I could sleep tonight. I didn’t know if there was a spare key to my room, and something told me that Julian was strong enough to bust through that door if he wanted to.
