Chapter 80: Claws Out

*Ouch.*

I wasn’t completely taken off guard, deep down I knew something dramatic like this was going to happen. It always does with the dramatic hoes. I could feel Grace’s hands trembling as she held my head in place and she didn’t even move her lips. For the first time, I pitied her.

*Fucking hell… Never mind. This isn’t fun. I’m fuckin’ regretting everything and hope this is all just a bad dream when I wake up. A fuckin’ nightmare. Wet nightmare. Maybe. I don’t know.*

My reaction was far from forced like hers, I had faked stuff like this before. I placed my hand beneath her chin and moved closer to her, massaging her lips with my own like you’re supposed to do when you're kissing. Grace’s hands may have stopped trembling but her lips begin to heat up rapidly fast. I peeked over at Sasha with one eye to see if she was watching. And oh boy, she was watching alright. Face flushed and pure envy in her eyes. She remembered me of a cat with her claws out, ready for a territorial attack. I’ve seen stray cats fight like that wayyy too many times on the west-side streets.

*Yup. I blame Gabriel for making me slowly turn into a softy.*

I unlocked my lips from Grace’s so that she could catch her breath. I didn’t realize how little she did of this stuff until now. Woman can’t hold her breath worth shit.

“Su–” her breathless attempt to say my name was in vain when I took the opportunity to kiss her more fiercely, my tongue diving into his mouth and she let out a startled, voiceless gasp in response when she felt my tongue roughly glide across hers.

*If Julian finds out about this, today is the day I meet my maker.*

“HEY! HEY!!!” I heard Sasha scream as she stormed towards the edge of the pool. We stopped kissing when she stopped at the edge of the concrete. “YOU FUCKING WHORE!!”

Grace stared at Sasha with wide eyes. It was obvious she had never seen Sasha in such a state.

*Ha ha haaaa, ohhhh I love bringing out the worst in people. Shame on me.*

I couldn’t help but be a smartass. “Which one?” I pointed at myself and then to Grace. “Me or your ex?”

“She is NOT my fucking EX!!” Sasha screamed at the both of us.

I could practically feel Grace’s seething heat from anger before she screamed back at her. “LIAR!! You’re only saying that so you can keep your ratchet boyfriend!!”

Sure enough, I could see the man who had been feeling up on Sasha earlier was staring at us with utter disgust.

*There’s always one judgmental fucker in the crowd. Typical.*

Sasha’s face turned redder as she looked back at her boyfriend and saw the look on his face. Grace was telling the truth, even I could see that. Sasha screamed back at her again. “SHUT UP!” unexpectedly, she took off her flip-flop and tossed it at us.

I was surprised that Sasha’s temper tantrum would make her throw a stupid floppy shoe at us but I was still prepared to catch it. Until it pathetically smacked the water halfway before reaching us.

*Wow…*

“I don’t know what I ever saw in you!” Grace screamed back at Sasha then swam to the other side of the pool and, to my humor, she hauled herself out of the water a lot more gracefully than she does going in.

*Yet again, my ass did push her in. Heh.*

Grace and Sasha stormed off in opposite directions. Grace’s feet sounded like they were painfully stomping concrete meanwhile Sasha had only one slapping flipflop against her heel.

*Welp… is my work here done? Ex is jealous. Grace pissy– that was inevitable either way. Uhh… Oh.* I witnessed Sasha try to say something to the man that was supposedly her boyfriend but he turned his head away and walked off. Sasha practically started sobbing on the spot and dramatically ran off into the dancing crowd of drunk college shitfaces inside.

If I wanted to swim in the pool by myself then I would’ve stayed at home. I lost sight of Grace and Sasha was probably crying in the bathroom so hard that I could imagine her eyeballs were dissolving from tears.

I swam over in the direction Sasha had run off to since that led to the driveway on the other side of the house. I had half the mind of leaving then and there, my fun had turned into boredom. Theatrically crying women were an earsore until I spotted the ‘boyfriend.’ I walked over to him to see what kinda reaction I could get out of him. “Hey.”

He looked up at me with surprise from where he sat on a bench and turned his head away sharply. “What do you want?”

“Fuck you too then.” I sassed while sitting on the table in front of him. The curves of my thighs and peach ass squished on the wood. He blushed when he gazed at my curvy body but it only lasted for a second before he sharply turned his head away. The look of guilt reflected in his eyes for gawking at another woman’s body.

“Goodey two shoes.” I mocked him.

When he looked back up at me he shot me a hostile glare. “You ruined EVERYTHING! We were fine until you and fucking Grace came!”

“Fuck, man. Sounds like you haven’t liked her for a while.” I leaned backward, propping myself up by an arm. “Did you have suspicions or somethin’?”

The boyfriend flinched and then looked away towards the pool where the screaming fight between the two women had just taken place. “Grace was always acting weird and clingy around Sasha. It was fucking weird.”

“Weird like what they’ve done in the past or weird as in what they’re into?” I poked at the part of him on whether or not he thought negatively of homos or anything along those lines. And as I thought, he glared up at me again.

“You’re just as weird as Grace is.”

“Nahh, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I slipped. Couldn’t you tell?”

“Slipped? It’s too deep to touch the ground. What the hell did you slip on?”

“Water. Duh.”

My sarcasm made him stare at me dumbfoundedly before snorting with a shake of his head. On the corner of his mouth was the faintest upward hook as if he were trying his best not to grin. “What’re you? Some kinda comedian?”

“What? You think I could pull it off?” not gonna lie, I did crack myself up sometimes. But my humor was cracked from the beginning. Not a lotta people would understand it.

The boyfriend hesitated before cocking his head to the side and looking me up and down curiously. “What’s your name?”

I leaned down from where I sat on the table, my big breasts hanging at eye level as I spoke in a more seductive voice. “They call me Sukia.”

“They?” he lifted one of his eyebrows curiously while trying to keep his composure and ignore what was in front of him. “And whose they? You’re demons?”

That mean smirk of mine crossed my lush lips. No mistake he saw the devil in my green eyes, just like any other target I locked on. “You wanna go upstairs and find out?”

The man whose name I still had no idea had his jaw dropped and his eyes widened as if he couldn’t believe what he had just heard. He glanced back towards the house where Sasha had just stormed off to as if he expected to get in trouble for my words even going in and out his ears. I noticed his hands fidget when he ran his fingers through his eye-catching blonde hair. “Y– you’re a bold one…”

His reaction told me that he was the type of man who didn’t get involved with bold women. I can tell just by the type of woman Sasha was. Dramatic but nothing extreme.

“You think I’m playin’?” I leaned down closer. I already knew that Grace and Sasha were off somewhere crying in corners so I didn’t bother looking both ways. I placed my hand beneath his chin the same way I had done Grace earlier, it was like a sweet spot for everyone I tried to seduce. “Think of it assss… uh. I wanna show you somethin’. Yeah. So you wanna come see it or what?”

The boyfriend hesitated. He was still technically a taken man. But he had just witnessed that his girlfriend had an intimate relationship with another woman. And by the way Sasha freaked out earlier, she still had attachments. What he and Grace don’t know is that it was because of me. And I was about to stir up more fire.

He nervously looked up at me. “Show me.”
