Chapter 81: Fire Starter

It’s just me and Noname now. And I had no idea what the hell I was doing but nothing jiggled my giddies like causing mayhem for other people. Especially the ones I didn’t like.

*Who knows, maybe that’ll work out in Grace’s favor. Maybe.*

Me and Sasha’s boyfriend went upstairs unnoticed. The only people we passed were couples drunk as fuck making out on the staircase or down the hallway. Did I have any idea where I was going? Nope. I did grab the shy dude by the collar of his shirt and dragged him down the hallway to the nearest bedroom door.

I should’ve stopped and paid attention to my surroundings because when I swung the door open we saw the bed was already occupied by a couple already doing the do under the sheets. The girl screamed and I quickly slammed the door closed.

“Oops. Wrong room.” I reacted as if it were just another day for me. Sasha’s boyfriend on the other hand looked pretty startled. I dragged him over to the next bedroom door and listened inside before swinging it open. “Ah. That’s better.”

I kicked the door close behind me before pushing the cheater down onto the bed. He was beginning to sweat with a panicked look on his face as if he were having second thoughts but not a word came out when I crawled on top of him. He stared up at my hourglass figure and breasts that hung down in front of him. “It’s a little late to be thinking about backing out now.” as soon as I sat on his crotch he winced but grabbed my thighs eagerly, I could feel the bulge that was separated from my skin by clothing. But before I could make another move, the man beneath me, for a brief second, looked like Julian and I froze in place.

The trembling breath and intense blush on Sasha’s boyfriend’s face turned into confusion when I froze up. “Is everything alright?”

I struggled to get a word out. *What am I doing? Who cares about Julian! I was planning on telling him it's over anyway, right?? So why can’t I…!?* I was unable to finish my mental conversation with myself as my hands balled up into fists. This was the first time I’ve ever felt this way. It was like a wall that I couldn’t break through.

*Fucking hell...*

I got off of the nameless guy and turned my head away. “Ah… my bad. I’m just not feeling it right now.”

It took the boyfriend a minute to catch his breath as he sat up. There was a hint of guilt on his face but hungry desperation in his eyes as he stared down my body. My bikini was held together by knots that could’ve easily been undone by a rough enough tug on one of the strings. My caramel-toned skin had a faint sheen from the pool water earlier.

With a finger to his cheek, I slowly pushed his head the other way so that he could stop gawking at me. “Not today, homie. Maybe some other time.”

“Uh, r– right…” his stutter ended with us jumping when the door slammed open by a flabbergasted Sasha who froze in horror and screamed at the top of her lungs when she saw her boyfriend in bed with another woman.

*I think it’s time for me to go…*

“You BASTARD!!” Sasha screamed and started landing pathetic punches on him. I gawked in disbelief.

*What kinda punches are those? Your hands aren’t fucking hammers!*

“Wait, baby, I can explain!” he did the old routine that I’ve heard a thousand times.

While Sasha was occupied with her dazed boyfriend I decided to stroll on out of there. Most of the people downstairs were still partying but a handful were looking at the staircase when they heard Sasha’s furious screams. I grabbed my clothes and slipped them on before heading outside to Grace’s car.

*Actually. Should I drive home with Grace? Something tells me she’s gonna raise hell as me for raising hell in the party.*

I was starting to regret not taking my car instead but that didn’t mean I was stranded there. Whipping out my phone and giving the screen a few taps I glanced both ways to make sure nobody was targeting me before giving Jack a text.

“Heyyy Jackieeee.. I need a ride. Get me?” I tried to make my text sound a little easygoing.

“What’d you do” Jack’s response was swift as usual and, like always, he knew me far too well and knew when I needed to bail.

“Just come get my ass man” I didn’t know the address but I at least knew the direction here thanks to Grace’s shitty guidance.

“Omw” he abbreviated the text ‘on my way’ and I left it at that. He didn’t ask any more questions and I knew it was because he had a barrage waiting for me. Face-to-face I couldn’t ignore all of them.

As soon as I stuck my hands in my pockets I felt familiar cold metal in both of them. One of them I recognized as my handy dandy best friend- Mr. Knife. The other one was Grace’s car keys.

*Fuuuuck I really wanna yeet these down a sewer or something but… she’ll go cry to her daddy for sure.*

Even if it was Grace’s car, I didn’t want to be Gabriel in a difficult situation so I just opened up her car door and tossed them in the passenger seat.

*She better hurry before somebody snatches this thing.*

By the time I slammed her door shut I saw Jack’s car coming. Unlike Grace’s fancy, glossy car–Jack’s looked rusty, old, and smoke kept puffing out of the back as if the ancient vehicle had been smoking too many cigars.

When he pulled over I got in with a loud sigh. “Alright. Take me back to the mansion.”

Jack just completely ignored me, unintentionally though since he was staring at the house hosting a noisy party. “Where the hell were you!?”

“Grace invited me to a shitty party, aight? I’m not having fun anymore. Just take me home.” I leaned back in my seat and crossed my arms. The thought of Julian crossing my mind right before I was about to have sex with another man still rubbed me the wrong way. It infuriated me but also unsettled me.

“Oookay then. Off we go!” Jack got the hint that any more questions weren’t worth the trouble and we drove off. “Your hair is wet. Did you go swimming?”

I shrugged my shoulders with a mumble. “Yeah… pool is ok. I guess.”

“I heard some of the music you like too.” he peeked at me in the corner of his eye as he tried to focus on driving. “Why did you decide to leave? Get bored?” his casual questions ended with his eyes flying wide. “Wait. You said GRACE invited you to that party?? Are you ok!?”

“Fuck, Jackie, I’m fine! It was fun at first, yeah. It’s not fun anymore.” I didn’t want to explain why. I still felt bad about what happened between him and Julian.

“But… why?? Last you said, you and Grace hate each other’s guts!” Jack’s mind was practically whirling as if he had made a world-ending discovery.

“I was bored and had nothing to do. She asked me to be her fake girlfriend and it sounded like fun.” I gave another shrug of my shoulders. “Turns out she had a girl she was intimate with but now the chick is dating some dude.”

Jack made a hissing sound as if he had just stubbed his toe. “Wow. Stepsister being your fake girlfriend is kinda weird…” Jack looked grossed out. I could only imagine what he’d think if he learned that Julian was my stepbrother. “Well, that does sound like an offer you’d take, knowing you.” he grinned as he reminisced all of my stupid troublemaking in the past. “So what’d you do? I know damn well you didn’t go with the plan.”

“Welllll,” I casted him a dirty smirk. “I like to think I pulled off the fake girlfriend part pretty well. Then I flirted with the chick she had a crush on while she wasn’t looking, you know, to sprinkle the oil. Was just about to light the match butttt… I couldn’t go through with it.”

“Seriously? You love lighting the match! What happened?”

The thought alone felt embarrassing but, it's Jackie, it's fine telling him, right?

“I was gonna fuck the other chick’s boyfriend but… yeah,” I mumbled my words. I stiffened in my seat and gripped the door when the car screeched its skid to a sharp stop. “Holy shit, Jack, what the fuck?! Tryin’ to give me a heart attack!?”

When I looked at him, he was staring at me with wide eyes full of horror. “You were going to cheat on Julian?”
