"Are you sure about that? I'm telling you this Allen! I'm never going to give up on you! Don't even try to run away from me because you will never be able to do it! I'm never going to let you go!" Ryan said. He meant it. He came all the way here for her, how can he let go of her after coming here? It won't be possible at all!
Allen rolled her eyes. "if you don't stop pestering and harrasing me like this, I'm going to report you to the police. Don't forget, right now I'm a public figure and I'm married! You ..." Allen did not get to finish!
"Stop! Stop it! I don't want to hear that. You? A public figure? Married? Can you please stop decieving yourself? You are not Joanna Anderson! You are Allen! How are you married? Do you think that I'm going to let you marry someone else?!" Ryan said. He was definitely going to crash the wedding if she dared to marry someone else. He wasn't joking about it!
Allen had always known that the live that she was living right now wasn't hers. She had always been clear on that. And she had never tried to take the place of someone else. Actually, she mentioned marriage just now so that Ryan would leave her alone. She wasn't supposed to be hurt by his words. Since she already knew that it wasn't hers.
But still....why does it hurt so much? Why is she in so much pain after hearing his words? What is wrong with her?
"I don't see how it's any of your business! Ir doesn't have anything to do with you what I choose to do with myself! I'm telling you this Ryan, leave me alone now when I'm being nice!" Allen said.
Ryan stepped closer to Allen. Hw really did not like the fact that Allen was connected to Raymond. He knew that it wasn't real... but still ..it gave him an uneasy feeling.
"Allen....you said that Raymond already knows that you are not Joanna right? Then why do you have to continue to live with him? You don't have to do that. If you want...I can get you somewhere to stay. The both of you are not really married anyway....no matter what....a man and a woman who don't have anything to do with each other living together...it isn't safe" Ryan said in a persuasive voice.
Allen burst out laughing. Not safe? Like she is ever going to listen to his nonsense! "What? I'm not safe? But you know what? I think that I'm going to be in even more danger if I stay in some place that you own!" Allen said.
"Do you really think of me as such a têrrible person? Allen what happened that day was a mistake. I did not mean for things to happen like that. Can you please not be so angry with me anymore?" Ryan asked her.
"Don't mention that! Don't ever mention that incident to me again! I don't want anything to do with you anymore. And I'm definitely not going to take anything from you. Since I'm playing the role of Raymond's wife I'm going to do it well!. At least I think that I'm going to be safer with him than I'll ever be with you!" Allen said. She was right about that. No matter how intolerable Raymond was, he had never tried to do anything to her. Expect for yesterday when he kissed her ...
Gosh! Why is she thinking about it again?!
"What? You will be safer with him? Do you think that he is such a good person? Don't be so naive Allen!" Ryan said.
"Naive? It doesn't have anything to do with you anyway!" Allen said. She paused for a second. That was when she realized that there was something wrong with Ryan's words.
Does he know Raymond?!
"You ...do you know Raymond?" Allen asked him.
Ryan snorted. Know him? Of course he knew that weirdo Raymond. In fact, because of some annoying family relations, the both of them were related.
"That is not important! We are talking about us right now! Allen....come to me Allen. You should accept me" Ryan said.
"I should? Is it some kind of obligation? I don't want to! Leave me alone!" Allen said.
Ryan wasn't prepared to get a rejection straight up like this. He grabbed her hand.
"What are you doing right now? Do you realize that this is a public place? Let go of me right now!" Allen said. Ever since she started playing Joanna, Lena had bagged her so many times that she had to pay attention to her image at all times.
If someone took a picture right now, it would make the way to the headlines immediately. She could not afford to leave a stain on someone's career.
It seemed that Ryan had finally caught on what she was afraid of, but he refused to let go. He wasn't going to let go of her so easily.
"No! I'm not going to let go of you!" Ryan said.
"I said let go!" Allen tried to struggle but he was just too strong for her.
"She said to let go of her! Are you deaf?!"
