She was looking more and more like that person. Her temperament, it was so similar to that girl. Raymond shook his head. Just because he is desperate to find her doesn't mean that he can just pick anyone on the street and say that she is April. And besides, he already asked her and she confirmed herself that she isn't that person. There is no need for him to think too much. But today, Joanna doesn't seem herself at all. She seems like a completely different person. "Let's just go. I have something to do later" Raymond said. He was much grumpier now.
Allen nodded her head. In truth, when she opened the wardrobe, she was in shock because of tht clothes. Those clothes all of them were meant to attract attention. She did not want to wear those clothes. She felt like she won't be able to pull it off and that she will make a fool out of herself and so she just decided to wear something really low key. This dress was the only thing she found that fit that description. So she wore it. "Alright. Let's go" Allen said. She already accepted her fate. She had to save her mother and she was ready to do anything for the sake of her grandmother.
Allen and Raymond walked out of the state registry. They had just registered thier marriage. Allen was still having a hard time processing this information. What the hell just happened here? What is going on in her life right now? She just got married? Like that? All of a sudden? She looked at the name in the marriage certificate and that seemed to calm her down. Joanna Anderson. That is the name there. However, she isn't Joanna. She is just someone who has to live as her for the next six months.
Once that six months is over, she is going to go back to her life. She won't need to bother with this anymore. Allen glanced over at the man that was standing by her. She had to admit that the man is handsome. No, that word was not fit to describe the human masterpiece standing in front of her. He was drop dead gorgeous. That was the only word that Allen could think of right now. And he is the CEO of Helian Entertainment. Raymond Walker and Joanna Anderson, they are such a perfect match. When the time comes, she will have to hand this life over.
Allen who was lost in her thoughts did not know that Raymond was silently watching her. It seemed like there was something wrong with this woman. From the second that he picked her up in front of her house, he kept thinking that there was something wrong with her. She was different from the Joanna that he had met at the hospital, the Joanna who had come to his office to demand that they get married. She was very different from them. This could not be one of her tricks right?
He knew that she is not a good woman. Just one look at her and he could already tell how scheming this Joanna was. He knew that for her to agree to get married to him on the terms that they will get divorced after six months, there definitely was something else to it. It could not be that she had already stated to play her tricks right? Looking at her right now, she was lost thinking about something. Well, no matter what it was, he won't fall for her tricks. "You can annouce it now. Don't think I'll help you do it this time" Raymond said. He was already pissed off already. He couldn't be bothered to play along with this woman.
Allen looked at him. She could not understand what he was talking about. What is this supposed to mean? What I'd she supposed to announce? She felt like jamming her head into a wall. Pretending to be someone and living someone else's life isn't as easy as she had thought. She wasn't even given a script! What the hell is she supposed to do? How is she supposed to act like someone else? Paul and Lena told her that they were going to make sure that she plays the part really well but now that she really needs thier help, there isn't a single sign of them anywhere!
Did the both of them bail off and leave her alone here? Allen looked at the man with confusion in her eyes. Just what is he talking about? What is she supposed to announce? Allen knew that if this continued like this, he would figure out sooner or later that there was something wrong. He would be an idoit if he did not notice anything. Allen wished that Paul or Lena would just come out of nowhere and yell her what this is about but they did not show up. She had to deal with this on her own. "Umm, what am I supposed to announce? I forgot about it" Allen said and laughed. She wanted to sound natural but her laughter just made her even more suspicious.
Raymond glared at her. Is this woman for real? Now he was sure that this one was of her tricks! She is the one who told him that she wanted everyone to know about her marriage. How can she forget about something like that? How can she forget about something that she suggested herself? Her laughter wasn't convincing at all. It only made things worse. Now he was sure that she was plotting something. Does Joanna think that such act will work with him?
He definitely won't be fooled by a woman like her! If not for his grandfather, he won't be here talking to her! This woman, she really knew how to make him angry! "What nonsense are you talking about? How can your forget about it? You are the one who wanted to do that! You are the one who said that you wanted everyone to know that we got married! You know what, you can do whatever you want. Whether you annouce the fact that we got married or not, I don't care!" Raymond yelled. It would be better for him if people don't find out anyway.
Allen was shocked by his outburst. Right now, she did not know what to think of this person that Joanna just married. Even if Joanna was forced into this marriage he should not be so mean to her right? What really is going on? Allen was tempted to think that there was more to this marriage. But she had no way of knowing. Only Raymond and Joanna knew what this marriage was all about and Raymond did not know that he was talking to another person.
Allen was still trying to think about what she should do when someone walked up to her. She turned and saw Lena. She sighed in relief. She was sure that Lena would know what to do about this situation. If she is Joanna's assistant and she has always been with her, she should know why Raymond is being so mean to her. Allen saw Raymond glancing at her, perhaps trying to ask who Lena is. "Lena, you came!" Joanna said happily. Paul must have called her. Turning to Raymond Allen said. "She is my assistant"
Lena nodded her head. She looked at Raymond. Even though she knew about him, this is the first time that she was seeing him this close. She had to admit that he was even more handsome than the pictures that she had seen. Such an amazing man, why would someone as vain as Joanna run away from marrying him? Lena knew Joanna well. She marrying Raymond is something that she will brag about to the ends of the Earth, so why would she run away?
The story of her running away just because she did not want to get married did not seem to add up at all. In fact no matter how much Lena thought about it, it did not seem right. There were so many loopholes. But it wasn't as if there was any more reason. Even though it did not seem right, it was the only plausible reason Paul had called her this morning and asked her to come meet Allen. Apparently, Joanna and Raymond were supposed to get thier marriage certificate today. "Joanna, you should have called me" Lena said. Turning to Raymond she said, "it's nice to meet you Mr Walker"
Raymond glanced at Lena. He did not want to say anything to her because he did not want to be involved in her personal life at all. Instead he turned to Joanna. He still remembered one of the conditions that she had given him. If they are going to pretend to be married for six months, she will have to live with him. "You can go back to get your things. This is my address. XXX street, number XXX" Raymond said. He got in his car and drove away leaving both women behind.
Allen watched as he drove away. From some point, she could understand why Joanna did not want to get married to this man. Why would anyone want to get married to him? How can he treat someone that he just married to like that? But what did he mean by her her things? Does this mean that she will have to live with him? Allen was getting an headache. Just how far will she go to play Joanna? "What is that? Will I have to live with him?" Allen asked Lena.
Lena watched as the car drove away. She had to admit that Raymond Walker was just as the rumors had said. The cold and aloof handsome and powerful CEO of Helian Group. No matter how much she thought of it, she just could not understand why Joanna would run away from the marriage. She had bragged about it so much, she seemed so happy about getting married, but then she just ran away? Lena decided that she will have to talk to Paul again. They need to think about other possibilities.
Joanna saw that Lena seemed distracted and so she thought that it was because of the way Raymond had treated her. How can someone just leave his wife that he just married and go away like that? Who is he even? She could see why Joanna did not want to get married. With a husband as inconsiderate as this, why will anyone want to marry him? Allen of course did not know that they were many people who would do anything to marry him, even if he treated them badly. Many people would do it, including Joanna.
"Can you see that? I can see the reason why Joanna did not want to get married to him! It's because he is such a jerk and a asshole! How can someone be so mean to a woman that he just married?" Allen asked.
Lena turned to look at her. How is she supposed to explain to this woman that she did not think that Joanna ran away at all? How is she supposed to tell her what she is suspecting? She would not understand it. So Lena decided to drop it for now. Instead she said, "I think you will have to live with him. Let's go. I'll help you pack up and then drive you there" Lena said..
Allen shook her head. "I need to go somewhere first" she said. She had to go see how grandmother. Paul said that he was going to transfer the money to the hospital but she still had to take a look for herself and see how her grandmother was doing.
Lena looked at her. "Where do you need to go? I'll take you" she said. Allen is now Joanna Anderson. She can't make a mistake that will affect her career.
"I just need to go see my grandmother" Allen said.
