Does she think that she is invincible since she is an actress now and she is going to get married to that man? Fred was sure that if they knew what she is like they won't want to have anything to do with her! "What? What do you think that you are saying right now? Do you that that you can say whatever you want just because you are going to get married? What? We are pathetic? Whether you accept it or not we are the family that raised you. We are your family! You can't get rid of us so easily! And do you really think that that man will want to marry you once he knows the kind of woman that you are?" Fred asked.
Joanna scoffed. These people are really something. Is Fred trying to threaten her now? Is he saying that he is going to tell Raymond and his grandfather about what she really is? His threat had got to be the funniest threat in history. If someone like Lydia had made this threat then she would have been worried and she would have been thinking about how to deal with this because Lydia would definitely go all out. But Fred is just an idiot. There is no way that someone like him will be able to do anything to her. All of them were just a bunch of pathetic idiots. Who does Fred think he is to threaten her?!
Joanna let out a sinister laughter. "I really don't believe this. In just a day you became even more stupid and even more pathetic. What? You are going to tell them about what I really am like? Who do you think that is going to be worse for? Do you really think anyone would believe that crap?! Alright then. Go and tell them! They won't believe you! I'll get married and they won't be willing to help you. You are going to lose your company and I am going to live my best life! I don't have anything to lose. Show me how pathetic you are!" Joanna said. She was really enjoying this.
Vivian got up angrily. She had been trying to hold it in because of what her husband had told her. They must not make her angry because they did not want to lose the company but she really couldn't control herself anymore. Why this girl is even more worse than her mother! How can she insult and make fun of her precious son like this? She won't let it go, she won't let it go at all. Everything would have been perfect if her own daughter was willing to get married. But no one knew what she was doing right now! Joanna, does she want to be the end of thier family?!
"What? What nonsense are you talking about? Do you think that you can just trample on us and do whatever you want with us? Don't forget that you leeched off our family for eight years! We did not have to put up with it but we still put up with you! Fine let's talk about it now. You are right. We are trying to take credit for bringing you up! Don't you think that you should at least pay us back for it? Pay us back for the fact that we raised you for so long! You are getting married, how can you not tell us about it? Is it fun when you look down on people who raised you for so long?" Vivian asked.
Joanna scoffed. These people are really something. Is Fred trying to threaten her now? Is he saying that he is going to tell Raymond and his grandfather about what she really is? "What? Now you all are finally showing me how shameless you can be! Fine for eight years I lived in your house and I are your food! So I am going to pay you back for that. That is why I'm going to help your company when I get married. That should be enough. You can't be greedy and ask for more than that right? Then wait for me till I get married then! Then you will get the benefit that you want! Stop bothering me so much!. So, tell me why do you still want me to tell you? You are going to get the benefit in due time so why should I tell you?" Joanna asked. If only they know that she has no intentions to help them!
Peter looked at her. He knew that he could not stand to lose his temper now with her. The marriage is going to happen soon. Joanna is going to help the company. He can put up with her excesses for now. "Don't get angry Joanna. We were just worried. Since we are family, we should at least know what is going on" Peter said. "We really don't want anything to happen to you at all. As your only family, we are only trying to look out for you" Peter said. He was gritting his teeth as he said this. Once this is all over, he will teach this brat a lesson.
Joanna scoffed. She could see through this man. Does Peter think that she is an idioit and that she is going to fall for this? He is only trying to suck up to her so that she will help thier company. But Joanna already had her mind made up. She is definitely not going to help these people. They were the ones who tried to make life so hard for her. They did everything possible to almost ruin her life. There is nothing that will make her forgive them. Once she gets married, she will show them what it really means to be ruthless.
"Uncle, I think that you are much more smarter than your wife and son. Yesterday you were wondering if I will be able to get married to Raymond right? Well I can tell you this now I am going to get married to him and there is nothing that you can do about it! If you know what's good for you don't try to annoy me anymore!. If you guys keep trying to push me like this then don't blame me for being completely ruthless! It's not as if I won't be able to help you when I get married but if you keep pushing me then nothing will make me help you!" Joanna said.
She was barely done talking when she heard a very loud voice say from behind her. "Don't help! We definitely don't need it!"
All of them turned and standing in front of them was Lydia! They were all surprised. Vivian in particular was very nice happy! Her daughter had come back home! Well if she is going to come then she should have told them about it! It did not matter at all! Lydia is back and that's all that matters! Vivian was already thinking. If she could find a way for her daughter to meet with Raymond Walker, she is smart and she will know what to do from then to make sure that she gets married to Raymond Walker instead. Then Joanna won't be able to trample on them any longer!
Lydia glared at Joanna. After so many months, she saw this bitch cousin of hers. Immediately she heard that Joanna is going to marry Raymond Walker she left everything that she was doing and came back. She definitely can't let the both of them get married so easily! Well, it wasn't as if she was doing anything abroad anyway, but still, she was living her best life, free to do whatever she wanted. She came back here so that she could get what is actually hers. Raymond Walker, she should be the one getting married to him instead!
When she walked in just now, she had seen the way that Joanna was talking to her father. She definitely is still the same little witch that she had always been! She won't let it go this time. She had always done bad things and then act as if she was the one being picked on! Joanna is such a terrible woman! Now that she was here this time she is going to make sure that she removes the mask of this terrible woman! When she has done that, she was sure that Raymond won't want anything to do with her anymore. "what so you think that you are doing right now Joanna?"
Vivian looked at her daughter. She was telling very happy to see her again. She had seen the way that she was looking at Joanna. She knew that this time it won't be so easy to convince her to do what she wants. And besides, once Lydia finds out who Joanna is getting married to, she will want that man for herself too!. Then she won't have to deal with the excesses of this woman Joanna anymore! "Lydia. My daughter! You are back. You should have told us that you were coming back! Well it's all good now. It's fine as long as you are back!" Vivian said.
Joanna looked at Lydia. She did not think that she hated anyone the way she hated this woman standing in front of her. Even that stupid Sonia is not a match for her. But over and over again, this girl is always going against her and she is always making life difficult for her! Since she came back so suddenly this time she is sure that she came here to make things difficult for her. Fred and Vivian were always saying that Lydia should be the one getting married instead, Lydia won't try to make things difficult for her right? Well she has better not try anything with her because she will definitely make her suffer!
"What do you mean by what I was saying? You already heard me right?" Joanna asked. She did not want to deal with her right now and so she just turned to face Peter. "You've already heard it. I'm going to get married to Raymond Walker. From here on, I hope that you and your family watch your words around me. I definitely won't let it go if anyone tries to make things difficult for me!" Joanna said. By anyone, she was definitely referring to Lydia. She won't spare her at all this time.
"You people definitely need to watch the words that you say to me from now on. You think that i am getting married to Raymond Walker because of your family right? Well, let me tell you this! I am getting married because it's me. Hasn't it ever crossed your mind why they didn't ask for your daughter Lydia? It's because she's definitely not good enough! None of you have ever been a match for me and you people will never be a match for me! Once I get married you need to know that you will be at my mercy. I will decide whether to help you or not! Do you understand that fact?" Joanna asked them. She would not leave without making fun of this family first. After all, they were the ones who treated her like trash when she was first brought to live with them. She already knew that her life would be terrible if she did not learn to protect herself. And so, instead of getting hurt, she decided to hurt people.
Joanna never felt that she was doing anything wrong she was protecting herself.
