"Do you really believe that Joanna ran away? Why would she run away marrying me?" Raymond asked. This was one thing he needed to understand today. Why did they keep saying that she ran away? Just what type of game if Joanna playing with everyone?
"Are you really asking me that question? Why would she want to get married to you when she was only an exchange for your companies? Her uncle was ready to give her to you because it meant that he would be able to save his company and you agreed to it! In fact you even forced her into it! You even had to go as far as threatening her with her career just so that she would be married to you! She really did not want to do it. What else could she do except running away? I don't even have a single idea where she might be right now!" Paul said. Just thinking about the things that Joanna had told him just before she disáppeeared, he was really angry.
Raymond was really angry when Paul started to talk but he smiled after he was done. It seemed like he had figured out what was going on here now.
"Did Joanna tell you those things about me? That I forced her to get married to me? I even threatened her with her career?" Raymond asked him.
Paul was not an idoit. He saw the smile that was on Raymond's face and he had started to suspect that something was wrong. Is he saying that he did not do any of that? Does that mean that Joanna lied to him? But that can't be. He and Joanna have known each other for a really long time now. There is no way that she would lie to him. He definitely did those things to her. Paul was confident again.
"Yes. Joanna said those things to me! You know, the day just before Joanna disáppeeared, she cried and told me that she did not want to get married! But she did not have a choice since you were using the things that mattered the most to her to threaten her! She even told me that she was thinking of running away but I did not take her serious. She really did run away after that! How can you treat a woman like that?" Paul asked him.
Raymond smirked. He had never hit women before but right now he had an urge to slap Joanna across her face. What? He did those things to her? When? She agreed to marry him on her own!

He had been putting an airs since he came in here, acting as if he is such a perfect person but it turns out that in the end, he is just another idoit. An idoit that Joanna had probably used. Before this person came here, he had already done a background check and he knew that he and Joanna have been friends for more than ten years. Looking at him now, Raymond could not help but feel that he had been used and lied to for the past ten years. What did he say? He is the one who caused all of this?
