Vivian was still very angry over what Peter has said. He is reducing her to a woman who is jealous of someone who already died! She was talking about the fact that her daughter should be the one getting married to Raymond Walker and this man is defending Margaret in front of her! She was sure now that after all these years she is not the only one who did not forget about what happened! It's a good thing that she died then! Otherwise, she won't even be sure of this marriage that she left everything that she had to get into! What she she say? She is doing this because of her petty jealousy? No she is only trying to fight for her daughter because her daughter cannot lose to Joanna Anderson!.
But since Fred had already told her that there is nothing that she can do, she is going to play along with it now. Even if the both of them get married, there isn't a guarantee that they will stay together forever. She should just let them get married and save the company. Then later she will find a way to get her daughter to break them up! For now, she is going to put up with it. But no matter what, that girl should have told them that she is getting married to Raymond. How can she ignore them? Even if she did not want to, she still raised her for so long. "What do you have to say about that Peter? How can she ignore us like this?" Vivian asked.
Peter kept quiet. He was thinking. He had to admit that Vivian was right. Even though he told her to forget about the things that happened then since his brother and his wife already died he did not forget about that woman. Margaret. Over the years so many times, he wanted to hate her. His life would have been so much better if he just hated her! But he could not bring himself to hate her no matter what. He was caught in a deep web of feeling regret. Would things have changed if he had tried a bit harder? Would things have been different if he could give up the company? She was already dead and so he won't be able to get answers for that anyway
He returned back to the present. Regretting his decision then is completely stupid. Things already happened. People already died. He should not be thinking about any of those things. He should just focus on protecting what he got out of it. Joanna, even if she is getting married to Raymond, she should have told them. Why did they have to find out from the morning news? He will have to figure out a way to deal with this. "Call Joanna later after work Fred tell her to come home. She can't just ignore us like this. "Peter said. He had to be firm. He never really liked the girl anyway.
Lydia was in her hotel room. It had been a really crazy night for her last night. She has gone to the party of a friend and she got into an argument with some other girl. For some reason, the girl seemed to know her from back home. She was away from home now in another country but the girl still recognized her. Apparently, she was from home too. It would have been great to meet someone from back home but that stupid girl kept poking her nose in her affairs. Her father's company is on the verge of bankruptcy and she is currently messing around with whatever money that has left in another country. That is what that girl said to her!
Lydia could not take that. It's her life and she is going to do whatever she wants with it. The company is about to go bankrupt? What a joke! She was sure that her brother and father would save that company. And besides, she still received her monthly allowance right? She still gets paid from the company without doing anything! So how bad can things be? She was sure that everyone is doing okay back home. But that idoit made it sound like like she was ruining her family! Who does she think that she is? She could not take it and they argued. She ended up leaving the party angrily.
She woke up with a throbbing headache. Since that girl said that to her last night, she decided to check what was happening back at home. She opened her phone and the first thing that she saw was the news of her cousin Joanna Anderson getting married! To Raymond Walker of Helian Group! Of course she knew who Raymond is! He is the top CEO of the country. Helain Group is currently the biggest company in the country! So how can she not know him? How come that witch Joanna Anderson is marrying him? The article said that they have been seeing each other for some time but Lydia did not believe it. That witch Joanna did something!
She remembered that recently her father had mentioned an arranged marriage to her. She did not think much of it and said no because she wanted to pick her husband by herself. Does this mean that the person that her father wanted her to get married to was Raymond Walker? And since she said that she isn't going to do it they let Joanna marry him instead? How can her father do this to her? She is his daughter! She should be the one who is getting married to Raymond not Joanna! How can Joanna take away her things from her so easily since childhood?! She did not understand it at all! But one thing was clear. She is the one who should be with Raymond Walker! She won't let Joanna take him. She had to go back home now! She had to make sure that she went back home to get what is hers. A woman like Joanna, she does not deserve to be married to Raymond Walker at all! She is the one that should be getting married to him! Why does she have to put up with the fact that that Joanna is going to steal something away from her this time again? She definitely won't be putting up with her. Her father, Fred, Vivian, what were they thinking when they let this happen? At least she was sure that they hated Joanna as much as she hated her. They definitely won't want this to happen. Lydia really wanted to know what tricks she was playing this time.
Jenna and Sonia were already at the filming set. Since they had a lot of scenes to do today the both of them had come really early. Sonia was already putting on her makeup in the dressing room . Jenna stood by her side looking at the morning news. It had become a habit for her. Since she worked in the entertainment industry she always wanted to know what was going on with everyone. She was still looking at her phone when she saw something that shocked her. She would not have guessed that something like this will happen.
Jenna was completely surprised. Joanna is getting married?! The news that she was getting married was already a great shock but she is getting married to the CEO of Helian Group Raymond Walker?! Sonia had endorsed one of thier products and so they had some business with the company. She had actually met the man a few times and she could already tell that he was not an easy person. In fact the rumours about him were completely true. A cold and ruthless man, not someone that you wanted to mess with. But he is getting married to Joanna Anderson?
Even if Joanna had so many evil tricks up her sleeves, Jenna knew that it was still no match for the CEO of Helian group. The man is a heartless and cold CEO! How did she manage to trap him? Just what did she do this time around? She really wanted to know! And besides, Joanna had never made her private relationships public before. Many people did not know about this but since she had always been paying attention to Jenna, she knew that she had had relationships with quite a few men before. Most people just did not know about it. But why is she ready to make it public now?
Isn't her career the most important thing to her? Did she not try to ruin the lives of so many people because she wanted to hold on to this? Then why she is getting married? The industry had a way of working. Once an actress gets married, they started to become less popular little by little. Jenna knew that if Joanna wanted she would probably do everything to remain popular even after getting married but why did she have to take the trouble? She did not believe the story that the both of them have been dating for some time. She knew Joanna well. She is a woman who seeks straight the most. If she really had a boyfriend as powerful as Raymond Walker she definitely won't hide it at all.
There had to be something else to all of this. What is going on? Did she and Raymond get into some kind of deal? But why will he want to do something like that with such a woman? Because she and Sonia worked for his company and because she had dealth with him a few times, she knew a little of what the man's temperament was like. He was cold and aloof. It was terribly impossible for anyone to get close to him. He was also quite sharp. He could definitely see through the scheming of anyone. Jenna was sure that Joanna won't be a match for a man like that. After all she had dealth with the both of them before.
No matter how hard she thought about it, Jenna could not figure out what was going on. How did she manage to get into a relationship with Raymond? What is that woman planning now? What does she want to do? Jenna could not figure it out on her own. She decided to ask Sonia. The makeup artist was done with the makeup and she was leaving. Jenna moved closer to Sonia. "Sonia take a look at this. I really don't believe something like this at all. Joanna is getting married! To Raymond Walker!" Jenna said. Maybe Sonia can figure out what is going on because she really does not know.
Sonia took the phone from Jenna. She was equally surprised when she saw the news. Just what is going on here? How did something like this end up happening? Joanna is getting married? To Raymond Walker? The article said that the both of them have been seeing each other for quite some time but Sonia would be a complete idiot if she believed something like that. With someone with an ego like Joanna, if she really had a boyfriend like Raymond, even if she did not make it public then she would definitely find a way to rub it in people's faces. She won't hide the fact that she is going out with Raymond! There is something else going on. Joanna is someone who would do anything to get attention. She ruined the lives and career of so many people before and she did not bat any eye lid when she was doing it.
If she really wanted to get rid of her, her relationship with Raymond Walker isn't something that she was going to hide. She would definitely make sure that everyone else knew about it and then she would use it to make life difficult for her. Seeing how she kept it a secret, Sonia could not help but think that she is up to something else.
