Rita was surprised when she came out of the room and saw Raymond Walker. She recognized from all the finance magazines. She never thought that she would get a chance to see this man in real life! But he was actually here right now! It seemed that he had come with Allen. Wait, this did not seem right. He came with Allen?! How can this be possible? Isn't she pretending to be his wife Joanna right now? How can Allen come here with him? Does she want him to find out? What is wrong with Allen? Does she want to blow her own cover. Was she so worried about her grandmother that she just rushed here? What is wrong with Allen?
Rita thought that as a friend, she should try to clear up the situation for Allen. She could say that Allen's grandmother is her grandmother! This was a good plan? Allen won't have to be found out then!
"Mr Walker....Joanna...she..." Rita did not get to finish before the man said in a cold detached voice,
"Don't worry. I already know that she is Allen" Raymond said he could already guess that this woman was worried about the second she walked out. She had been sneaking glances at him. She was probably thinking of a way to explain for her friend.
Rita was shocked. It took a few more seconds for her to process what he said. He already knows that she is Allen?! This stupid Allen really! She just had to be found out in the end!
"Mr Walker....sir ..about that ...Allen ...she...she just did it for her grandmother! She wanted to save her....can you...not be so hard on her?" Rita begged for her friend. She should at least try to reduce the impact of the man's anger on her friend right?
Raymond laughed. It seemed that she really cared about her friend. He was going to do something to her? Thinking about it now, the past him would have done something like that. No, not the past him. He would definitely ruin anyone who tried to trick him like this. But he was quite thankful to Allen for this. He did not have to spend time with that horrible woman Joanna and he found love again, something he thought that would never happen if he did not find the girl that he had been waiting for. He had to be thankful to her. She showed him how to live his life again. There was nothing better than that. Why would he want to do something to her?
Rita was really scared. Scared out of her senses. His laugh made her feel like she was weak in her knees. Her legs were going to give way anytime soon. Seriously what is this? She thought that he laughed because he was disregarding what she said. Of course he was going to disregard it! Who did she think she was? She thought that just because she asked, she could get this man to go easy on her friend? It wasn't that easy. It seemed that Allen was done for this time.
But she just wanted to save her grandmother! Can't he go easy on her because of that? Is he really going to make the life of a struggling young girl like Allen miserable just because of this?
"I know that Allen did something wrong. She dared to impersonate your wife but she really did not mean to! It was all because she wanted to save her grandmother! Can't you let her off this once? Don't be so mean to her!" Rita begged.
Raymond saw the true meaning of the word, "Birds of a feather flock together! She is just like her friend!.
