Chapter 63

Ryan got down from the private plan and looked around the airport. This place, is actually exactly the same. He did not have any intentions of coming back soon. He came because....well he saw the news. What really happened when he was not here?
That iceberg actually got married. But his marriage has nothing to do with him. It was the person her married. How did that even happen? But what shocked him the most was why her name was Joanna Anderson instead of Allen Cathers!
He looked at the woman who was in the picture that he had gotten. They were standing in front of the national bureau. How...just how did she get married? He had been keeping up with the things that she has been up to...he knew that she did not have any chance to meet with Raymond.
What was even more mind blowing was the fact that she had the name of another woman. Just who the hell is this Joanna Anderson? When did his Allen become Joanna Anderson?
He really needed to find out about the things that had happened in the time that he was away. He had just heard about her grandmother and was making preparations, and now this happened.
He really wanted to see her right now and ask what the hell is going on but Allen probably wouldn't want to see him right?

"What are you doing here? Who is this?" Raymond asked glancing over at Paul. He did not know who this person was at all.
Actually he had come to this restaurant with a client for lunch and to talk about a business proposal but that man thought that he probably would be easy to fool...he actually had the guts to bring along a honey trap with him!
A shrewd looking man. Raymond really did not know what to do. What did these people think of him? As long as thier business proposal was good then he was more than ready to do business with them, they really did not have to go to such lenghts.
The woman was stupid and kept foolishly trying to cling on to him, he had to tell her off sternly, he even had to bring up the fact that he was married!
He really did not think that that stupid marriage was something that he would end up using in his life. But those people were just too ridiculous.
Apparently that woman was much too used to being used as a tool for exchange that she did not mind anyway. Apparently most people knew that he got married because of whichever reporter did that. She wasn't ready to back off.
She had to use some really harsh words to get the woman to back off. She was really pissed, clearly she was used to having her way. Clearly, there was no way that the collobaration was going to work with that man. So she had nothing to lose. She decided to get back at him. He did not know how she was it but she had somehow seen that Joanna was in the same restaurant.. and she was with some other man....
She had said, "Mr Walker, you and Ms Joanna are always pretending to be a happy couple but it seems that you are only the one who is actually faithful to this marriage. She is even meeting someone else so openly"
Raymond had always been a level headed person. He knew how to judge situations rationally and not act rashly, he probably knew that something like that won't be happening, but when he looked over at Joanna and saw that she kept smiling, he could not help but get angry. Just what does she think that she is doing? Since she already agreed to marry her she should know how to behave herself?
Raymond did not know if it was because of the woman's provocation or because of Joanna herself, but he lost his cool.
He turned coldly to the man, "Mr Jayden, it seems I've been to nice lately. You are already old, it must be tiring to run a company right? Do you want to take an early retirement and go fishing in the country side? I can assure that MK will purchase your company at a really good price"
The man knew immediately that he was not joking with his threat. He knew that this woman was about to get him into some very serious trouble. He did not dare to delay anymore. Clearly, he knew that the collobaration won't be happening.
She was always usually well behaved. Why did she have to piss off this man today?
"Mr Walker, I'm sorry. Please forgive Anita. She spoke without thinking" the man pleaded.
"Get lost!" Raymond said. Even though he put them in thier place, he was still quite angry. He could not even understand why he was feeling angry. What has it got to do with him if that woman is with someone else? It must because of this woman's provocation right? That must be it.... right?
Immediately the man left, Raymond strood over to where Joanna and Paul were sitting.

Paul was still thinking about the things that Allen said when he saw someone walk up to them. He immediately recognized this man. He might not know who he is but how can Paul not know who Raymond is? He would be dammed then. Paul had to admit, this man had an intimidating aura to him. It was as if he was suppressing you without saying a word. He wanted to say something but he was suddenly at a loss for words. He could not say anything. Why did he suddenly start getting the feeling that he was doing something wrong right now?
"Actually..." Allen was going to say something when she felt like someone was standing behind her. She looked at Paul. He had his entire attention of whoever was behind him.
Allen swallowed a gulp. She could really guess who was standing behind her right now. She turned and Raymond's cold aloof and handsome face met hers.
"What do you think that you are doing right now Joanna?" He asked. Was there anger in his voice?
Allen did not understand his reaction at all. Even though she was pretending to be Joanna right now, it wasn't as if the both of them were really married anyway. And by the way, she still has a right to people, why is he angry?
Allen really wanted to snack her forehead when she thought something like that. Is she getting ahead of herself right now? Did he eat that he was angry? Why would he be angry because of this? It has nothing to do with him anyway.
"I'm chatting with a friend. Is there something wrong with that?" Allen asked. Her voice was clear and pure....like she did not have a care in the world.
Raymond did not know how but when he heard this woman's voice, he felt as if he was over reacting. He felt like he was acting out of character right now. He had told himself over and over again that he was going to be calm and not be bothered by whatever reasons she had for being here...but in the end, he actually did lose his cool.
Raymond suddenly did not know what to say to her simple explanation. He was suddenly at a loss for words. He could handle the pressure of all of the shareholders and board of directors without breaking a sweat but Right now, he could not handle this little woman explaining to him and looking at him with those clear eyes of hers? What really happened to him?
Paul immediately realized that something was wrong. Even though he was actually Joanna's friend, he did not think that he was right to here like this, he decided to just leave.
"Joanna, I have something to do. I'll see you later" Paul said. Since he was felt that it was rude for him to leave without an introduction to Raymond, he decided to at least introduce himself.
"You must be Raymond right? I'm paul. Joanna and I are actually quite close, we've been friends for a long time now. I'm in a hurry today, I hope that we can catch up more in the future" Paul said and disappeared. He did not want to be here anymore..
Raymond did not know why but he felt that it was even more suspicious seeing this man leave like this. He did not seem like he was in a hurry when he was talking with Joanna. He even looked like he was enjoying the conversation with Joanna. And now that he is here, he is suddenly leaving? He wanted to go anyway so he won't stop him. He actually felt happy that he was leaving like this!
Allen looked at Paul. She felt that he was leaving because of Raymond.
Raymond looked at her, he felt like he needed to say something to her so he said, "What do you think that you are doing right now? You are a married woman and you are meeting a man in broad day light like this, and you are a celebrity, what do you want people to think?" Raymond asked. He sounded as if he was scolding his daughter right now.
Allen rolled her eyes. "What do you mean? We are not really married anyway. And Paul is my friend!" Allen immediately defended herself.
Raymond suddenly did not know what to do with her. People were always saying that he had an intimidating aura, but why does it seem that it doesn't work with her? "Even if we are not really married, we still have to put up an act!" For the first time in his life, he was getting involved with a petty argument...a few weeks back, he won't let himself do something like this.
Of course, Allen had a comeback. "It's not like I told him anything! Even a celebrity has a personal life!"
For the sake of his mental health, Raymond decided to change the topic. He won't be able to win anyway. "Are you done here. Let's go home" he said. He actually wasn't done with work, he just wanted to escape.
"I.. " Allen wanted to refuse but she could not find a reason to do so. She had to go along with him. Allen sighed. Seems like staying away from him won't be as easy as she thought.
The both of them did not realize it right now but today was the beginning of Allen's free personal chaffeur service.

Lydia was with her mother. The both of them were sitting in her room. Vivian actually thought that her daughter will be able to make some progress with Raymond last night when she left them alone but she had always been quiet since she they left last night. She really wanted to know what happened.
"Lydia, what happened to you and Raymond last night? Did you have a proper talk with him? I'm sure that he must have fell for your charm right? You are much more better than that vixen Joanna so of course he will fall for you!" Vivian immediately tried to boost her daughter's confidence right away.
Lydia scoffed. He did not even throw her a single glance last night! But that did not mean that she was going to give up. If anything, his attitude made her even want him more. If she could have that kind of man then she would be set for life! There won't be anything for her to worry about!
Lydia did not want her mother to keep hassling her so she gave her a simple reply. "Mom, you don't have to worry. I'm going to to make sure that I get him on my side really soon. I'm going to make him fall for me!" Lydia declared. She wasn't going to give up at all.

Rita was just coming out of the hospital after spending some time taking care of Allen's grandmother when all of a sudden, a flashy looking car pulled up in front of her
For a second, Rita thought that the car was going to hit her but then it stopped in front of her. Rita stood her ground, waiting to give whoever was in that car a good cursing but when the owner of the car came out, her mouth dropped.
What is this person doing here?
"How have you been Rita?" Ryan asked.
