Joanna was shocked at first. What does he mean by she ran away?
Then she remembered the last conversation that she had with him when she lied to him that she was forced and that she did not want to marry Raymond. It seems that he took that seriously. Thinking about it now, Joanna did not know why she did something like that.
Whatever. She would just find a way to explain things to him.
"Run away? I wouldn't do that Paul. Something happened to me.... anyway it's really huge and we have to see first before I can explain it to you" Joanna said.
"Oh" Paul said. So she did not run away. Does this mean that what Raymond Walker said was true? That she was actually excited about getting married to him? What really is the truth here? Why does he feel like he doesn't know Joanna anymore?
"Well, I think that we really have to see each other too. There a lot of things that I want to tell you too" Paul said. Like how there is someone pretending to be Joanna right now. If Joanna can come back earlier then this means that Allen can leave and go back to her life right? It should be a happy thing for her right?
"Alright then. I'm going to contact you again soon. We should meet up" Joanna said. Something clicked in her head just then. The drama that she was shooting before that happened? How did it go? Did they replace the female lead? Did Sonia get it?
"What happened to the drama that I was filming before this happened?" Joanna asked.
Paul swallowed s gulp. There was no way he could tell her about Allen like this so he had to find a random excuse.
"Oh that? I found a way to handle it for you. You don't have to worry about anything. I have everything under control" Paul said.
Joanna smiled to herself. As expected of Paul. He would never let her suffer a loss like this. He would always put her interests first.
"Alright then. I'm going to trust you to handle things for me. As long as it's convinient for us to meet, I'll let you know" Joanna said and ended the call.
Paul sighed. This was so much like Joanna's style. Doing whatever she wants whenever she wants.
Before he had found this trait of hers good. He thought that she was a strong woman that knew what she wanted and went after it.
But right now, there was only one word that he could use to describe it. Selfish. What really is wrong with him?

"Allen...your grandmother.. she is asking to see you!" Rita said over the phone.
Allen turned to look at Raymond immediately.
"What?! I'm going to be there right now" Allen said and ended the call. She could not be bothered about Raymond and his confession anymore. She had to go to her grandmother and find out how she is doing right now!
The last time that she was there, wasn't she fine? How come she is suddenly wanting to see her? Could things have gone wrongly?
She did not want Rita to tell her anything over the phone. She was going to go over there and find out how her grandmother is doing right now.
"I'm really sorry Raymond but I have to leave right now. My grandmother, she said that she wants to see me!" Allen said..
Raymond remembered that she had said that her grandmother was sick and that was the reason why she agreed to pretend to be Joanna. Should he be thankful for her grandmother being sick so that he could meet Allen?
"I'm going to go with you. It's already late. Let me drive you" Raymond offered.
"No....no.....you really don't have to. I'm going to go by myself. You don't need to worry about me" Allen said. Even if she was worried about her grandmother right now what this man had said a few minutes ago was still ringing in her head. She did not want to be in the same space with him.
"What? You don't want to be in the same place with me? Are you avioiding me now?" Raymond asked.
Yes! Yes she was avioiding him! But since he already put it like this, how could she admit to it? She could not do that.
"No... what do you mean avioiding you? I'm not avoiding you at all!" Allen immediately denied it.
"Alright then. Since you are not avoiding me at all, let's go" Raymond said he had already picked up his car keys and he was walking outside now, without giving her a chance to say no.
Allen realized just then that she had fallen into a trap! What is the meaning of this? Why didn't anyone tell her that this cold and ruthless man that was always scaring her out of her senses was actually this shameless?!

Raymond and Allen arrived at the hospital in no time. All through the way, Raymond kept trying to make small talk with Allen but she gave him half hearted answers all the time.
It seemed that his confession had some kind of effect on her. Raymond was happy. As long as he could affect her in some way, he was going to take it. For now though.
The both of them went into the hospital and made for Allen's grandmother's room. Raymond had already noted that this was the hospital that his grandfather was in. Speaking of his grandfather, he kept wanting to be discharged.
No wonder she had been here that day that he found out that she isn''t Joanna.
Allen went into her grandmother's room and she stayed outside. a woman who seemed to be about the same age with Allen walked out of the room when Allen went in..
This must be her friend Rita. Raymond pursed his lips. Since he was courting Allen right now, he should be nice to her friends right?
