Chapter 22

She did not say anything but she found herself on the side of Sonia and Jenna. She did not know what happened but from the looks of it Joanna really hurt those women! Lena was hoping that they would expose her, so the world would know just how terrible and evil this woman really is! She could not say any of this out loud of course and so she could only keep quiet. Lena opened the car door for Joanna. "get in Joanna. You should go home and get ready for tommorow's filming" Lena said.
Joanna rolled her eyes. This is the only thing this stupid woman knows about!
Sonia and Jenna were going home. Jenna was driving her to her house. Sonia was in a really good mood. For the first time she really won against that woman Joanna in an argument! If felt really good. When she said those words to her just now she could see that her expression had darkened. She did not have that sweet smile that fooled everyone on her face. Her beautiful face was struck with horror. And it felt really good to see the woman like that!
Sonia had already decided. For every single time that she had humiliated Jenna and herself over the past five years she is definitely going to make sure that she gives it back to her the way that she gave it to them. Does she think that she and Jenna are pushovers that she can just and get away with it? "Jenna, did you see the look that was on Joanna's face just now? If felt really good to see her like this! Who the hell does she even think that she is?" Sonia asked.
Jenna smiled. She had to admit that it felt really good to see that woman Joanna fidgeting just now. Jenna knew that it won't be easy to get rid of that woman or completely defeat her. It was going to be a really long process but she was ready to do it. Today, seeing how she almost blacked out because of the words that she had said, it felt really satisfying! Why if she had known that getting her revenge on that woman would have been so satisfying she would have done it a lot time ago!
"I really liked the look that was on her face just now. She has done so many bad things and she even had the guts to bring up what happened after she almost ruined you! I keep doing this for you? It's because I want to do them! Who the hell does she think she is to comment on that?" Jenna asked. After Sonia almost got destroyed, she really went through a lot back then. Jenna did go through a lot of things because of what Joanna did. Of course she was angry that Joanna brought it up.
"Don't worry Jenna. I'll definitely get revenge for you." Sonia said. She already said that she was going to do it and she will do it. That woman who made Jenna go through so much, that woman who scared Jenna so badly, she will definitely do all that she can to make her pay. She has been going on and on about how she can do whatever she wants. Even if in the end she has to give up her career, she is ready to do it as long as that woman gets exposed in the end. She is ready to do just about anything at all! She has spent so much energy to make life hard for otters, she will know what is feels like now. She will definitely get what she deserves. Sonia is going to make sure of that.
Raymond was in his house. He had moved out of the house that he lived in with his grandfather when his demands to get married became too much for him to handle. He then got this place. It was really late when he got back home. Because he had spent so much energy dealing with that woman his grandfather wants him to get married too, he was in a really bad mood. Besides, he almost thought that she was that woman that he was looking for, thinking about all of those things really put in him a bad mood.
He decided to work over time. Maybe if he was tried he won't think too much about these things. But no matter how drained he was, he could not help thinking about it. He was feeling really bad. He closed his eyes but all that he could see was the image of that girl. He could see her face. She was struggling in the water, but none of those people cared about her. They were only interested in getting him out, because of what they would get out if it. They all forgot about that woman that was drowning in the water.
That was when he realized just how greedy people were. Because they knew that he was the only heir to Helian Group, because they knew that they could get something out of it. So they all wanted to save him. That girl, she pushed him to safety, and she got lost in the water instead. He did not want to think that she was dead. She can't be dead. They did not find the body then, so she was still alive right? There is no way that she can be dead.
He could feel it that she was still alive. He knew that she was still alive and she was going to do everything to find that woman. He was already trying so hard, he knew that if he kept on trying like this he would be able to find her. The face of that woman he had met at the hospital popped into his head. Why does she have to look like her? Because she looked like her, he almost made a mistake. But thankfully he was clear on things now. She isn't that person. She will never be that person. For that reason he did not want anything do do with her.
Raymond sighed. He really had to find April as soon as possible. He knew that from the first day that he saw that girl, he has lost his heart to her. The time he spent in that small town with April was the happiest time in his life. He did not think that he would ever be that happy if it was not with her. Her happy smile, her cheerful laughter, for those six months, it brought joy to his dark world. How can he even think of forgetting such a woman? Such a girl who made him extremely happy, the girl, who gave up her life for him, how can he forget her?
Raymond was still thinking about these things when he saw his phone ringing. It was the director at the hospital. Raymond signed. What is really going on this time? When he had gone to the hospital to see his grandfather he had looked okay enough. Is he trying to get him to come since he left without saying a word? Is he trying to convince him to get him married to that Joanna? He really did not want to hear anything about that woman. Raymond ignored the call for three times and the fourth time, he finally picked it up. The words that he heard were : "you really need to come to the hospital right now! Your grandpa, I don't think he will make it through the night!" Raymond got up immediately. What the hell happened to the old man?!
Raymond raced to the hospital. He was really worried about his grandfather. He was the only family that he had left. He really wanted to make sure that he stayed alive. He had worked so hard to bring him up. When his son and his wife died, he struggled hard to run the company and bring him up. Because his parents death really affected him, his grandfather sent him to that town to deal with the depression. He went there and met April. And then after that incident, he became even more depressed.
Taking care of the company and looking after him was not easy for his grandfather at all! But he did it. He did his best to make sure that he gave him a good life. But now, he is just going to die like this! Raymond did not really want his grandfather to die like this. He wanted him to still be alive for him. But he was fine when he left the hospital. Why did he get so sick that he was dying now? Is it because he left the hospital without telling him? Raymond was really starting to blame himself for what happened to his grandfather.
Immediately Raymond reached his father's ward, he saw the hospital's director outside waiting for him. Raymond was surprised that the man was standing outside leisurely waiting for him instead of treating his grandfather. But he was so worried about him that he did not think about it too much. He already told himself that he was going to make this man's life hell if his grandfather died because of neglect. He definitely won't let him off easy.
Raymond went to the man immediately. There was an anxious expression on his face. "What the hell is going on here? What happened to my grandfather? He was fine before I left the hospital. How did his condition get so bad that he is dying right now? What the hell do you doctors do in the hospital? Shouldn't you treat someone if he is sick? Why did you let him get to the point of almost dying?" Raymond asked. He was so worked up now.
Under the burning gaze of Raymond, the director almost told him the truth. He knew that the man was ruthless. He would definitely skin him alive if he found out about what is going on now. But he did not have a choice. His grandfather already told him what he was supposed to do. He knew that if he went against the old man's orders then things won't be easy for him at all! That old man would definitely make his life very very difficult! He did not want that to happen. He just had to do as the old man said without getting caught.
"Well his condition was pretty stable a few hours ago but it suddenly started to get worse. I think that it was because something triggered him. I told you that you have to be really careful about the things that you say to him. I tried calling you but your phone was turned off. I guess that you were still working. I was only able to get to you right now. We already did all that we can for him right now, he is awake now but we really don't know when he is going to leave us" The director said. He could see the look of fear that was on Raymond's face. His grandfather really has a great plan.
Raymond was horrified when he heard this. He was feeling really terrible and guilty now. It really is his fault that his grandfather was like this. He knew that it had something to do with him getting married. This topic always triggered him. today, when he did not come back, he must have thought about it a lot and he ended up hurting himself and getting so sick. And his phone was even turned off! He ignored his grandfather for so long. He had turned off his phone because he did not want to talk about what he talked about with Joanna he turned off his phone. .
He ignored his grandfather for so long! If only his phone was turned off he would have known that there was something wrong with his grandfather and he would have come to see him since then! Then maybe his condition would never have gotten so bad. He really is a terrible grandson. His grandfather had done so much for him but he can't even look after him properly. And now he got sick because of him! "He is inside right? I can see him right?" Raymond did not want for the director's response. He went in to to see his grandfather.
