Raymond too did not know the reason why he was here. He did not know why he drove all the way to this place thinking of Allen.
After all the rubbish that that idioit Ryder had spilled earlier, he found out that he just could not stop thinking about Allen. And what's worse. He kept thinking about the possibility of what he had said. Did he really fall in love with her? How can something like that even be possible?
He had already concluded that it was Ryder's fault. It was his fault for putting such ideas into his head. He is the one who caused it. He was just going to ignore whatever rubbish he said about him being in love with Allen.
But in the end, he could not do it. He was constantly thinking about her. He drove out to take some fresh air. Because he knew that she might still be at the filming set, he drove all the way here.
And what did he see? She was with Ryan. The first thing that he felt was a great surge of anger. She really does have a lot of admirers. Yesterday, it was that idoit Paul driving her back home.
And today, it's this physopath Ryan! Can't she at least find someone that is normal?
Because he was angry, he was just going to ignore her, that was when he heard what they were talking about.
It seems Allen was asking Ryan to leave her alone while he refused. A smile had spread out on Raymond's face just then.
Ever since he met her, she did something that made him happy. She definitely should not have anything to do with this crazy person Ryan!
When he saw Ryan trying to force her, he could not hold it in anymore. He knew that he had to step in.
And it wasn't because he had any kind of feelings for her. It was just because he was a good citizen. He would never ignore someone who needed help. Especially a woman who was being forced by a mad man right now.
"Do you realize that the woman that you are holding right now is my wife? Of course I'm going to be here. What were you going to do to her if I did not come here? You should at least have some moral principles right?" Raymond asked.
Ryan glared at Raymond. What is wrong with these people? Can't he even have a simple discussion with Allen now? Yesterday it was someone called Paul and now even Raymond even showed up! And what did he call her? His wife? How is Allen his wide? Didn't she already say that he knows everything now? How is she still his wife? Ryan felt a great surge of anger.
Since Ryan was so angry with Raymond, he did not use much strength in holding Allen's hand and she was able to slip her hand away.
This simple gesture was noticed by Raymond. He smiled in satisfaction. She is doing a really good job in making him happy now.
"Your wife?" Ryan snorted.
"Yes. Going by the family tradition, you have to call her sister in law. Even if you don't have any moral principles, you should not drag your sister in law into it with you" Raymond said. He had a playful smile on his face. But Ryan knew that this was just the calm before the storm. He just hoped that he won't be forced away this time again.
Allen's brain did a double turn. Sister in law? Did she just hear right? Ryan and Raymond are brothers?! How can something like this be real? Is this even possible?!
"Sister in law ...the both of you....?" Allen did not complete her words. Either way, both men were no longer listening to her. Instead, they were engrossed in thier own little battle of words.
"Moral principles? It's good that you know that I've never had that. You should at least know that I don't care about other people. As long as I want to do it, why should I care about what the other person wants? I don't care. And wife? It's already like this, are you still going to keep pretending Raymond? She is not Joanna Anderson!" Ryan said. He really could not accept another man calling Allen his wife. How is something even possible? And sister in law? What a joke! He will never call Allen sister in law!
Raymond gritted his teeth. It seemed that this idioit knows after all! Is that why he is bothering Allen? Does he want to get something out of her?
"I don't think that has anything to do with you. Right now, she lives with me and she is recognized as my wife! There is nothing that you can do about it!" Raymond said. His voice was much more stern right now.
Allen on her part, felt she was going to get an headache. Can someone please explain to her what is going on right now? Why does she feel like she is caught up in the middle of two men? The pressure was way too much for her! She won't be able to take it.
"She is not Joanna! She is Allen! You should know that more than anyone else!" Ryan said. He really wasn't expecting this. It seemed that Raymond did not mind the fact that she wasn't Joanna. If he wasn't wrong, that look on Raymond's face said that he even enjoyed it! What is this?! This annoying cousin of his did not fall for his Allen right?!
Ryan suddenly had an urge to look Allen up somewhere where no one can ever find her. She attracted the attention of people wherever she went.
"You can think whatever you want. All I want you to know is, she is mine! I would sure like it if you don't do things like this from now on!" Raymond said. He wasn't in the mood to talk with this crazy person anymore.
He grabbed Allen's hand and pulled her away, stuffing her into his car and driving off at once.
