"Why is it that the first time you talk to me it's to ask me about another man?" Raymond asked her. He did not understand himself either. When did he start to keep records of things like this? When did he start to care about the things that she said to him this much? It seems that that idoit Ryder was right. Did he really start to fall in love with this woman?
Allen was still having a hard time collecting her thoughts. What is going on right now? "What are you talking about? You and I talk....and why are you even keeping record of things like that? Besides....you and I....we really don't have much to talk about anyway....you said that you were going to find Joanna....I was just curious about Ryan and...." Allen's words did not seem to make much sense. She was still shocked by what he said that she could not organize her thoughts on time.
"You tell me what you mean by this. Why are you always trying to avoid me? Are you scared of me? Do I look like I'm going to eat you up? You talked so much when you are with that Paul.... but you won't even spare a few minutes to talk with me properly. Why? The first time that you took the initiative to talk to me first you are asking about someone else!" Raymond yelled.
Allen tried to decipher his behaviour. It seemed that he was jealous right now. But is this something to be jealous about? She did not understand it. Besides, why would he even be Jealous because of her? The both of them really don't have anything to do with each other! She is just a stand in for his real wife! He already knows that! And what does this even have to do with Paul? She just wanted to know how he was related to that crazy Ryan!
"What? I don't understand. What has this got to do with Paul? I just wanted to know how you are related to Ryan!" Allen asked. This man really has a strange temper! What exactly is the meaning of this?
Raymond was even more angry now! She keeps mentioning Ryan! How does she even know that person?
"Alright! Let me ask you something. How do you know Ryan?" He asked her.
Allen paused for a second. She certainly did not want to talk about how she got to know Ryan with this man. This was her own private issue and she did not think that the both of them were close enough for her to share such details with him.
"Ryan....he....he is someone that I used to know!" Allen could only come up with this explanation.
"Really? You used to know him? Someone that you used to just know....he said that you should come to him...you and him...what really is your relationship?!" Raymond asked.
Allen wasn't stupid. She immediately caught on that he had heard her conversation with Ryan! That Ryan seriously! He only knows how to land her in all kinds of situation! What can she do to be completely free from that person?
"What relationship can we possibly have? We don't have anything to do with each other! He is completely crazy?!" Allen said. She was so upset about Raymond thinking that she had something with Ryan that she instantly blurted out her thoughts. She really did not have anything with that mãd person! How can he even think that?
Somehow, she really detested having Raymond misunderstand about her and Ryan..
Raymond looked at her. It seemed that she knew the type of crazy person that Ryan was. But still, that wasn't enough to stop him from being angry. She knows that he is crazy and yet she is closer to him that she is with him! And then there is that Paul!
He stepped closer to Allen and she stepped away. He cletched his fists. She is doing this again! Does she want to run away from him so badly?
"What? You want to run away from me so badly? I don't see you running away when you are with Paul and Ryan!" He suddenly yelled.
Allen felt that she was going to have an headache for sure. What has this got to do with Paul again? Why does he keep bringing Paul into this?
"What has this got to do with Paul? He isn't a bad person! He has helped me a lot!" Allen said. She really could not help but stand up for Paul. After all, he has been so nice to her. She even felt quite sorry for him. He was being used by Joanna and he doesn't even realize it. Such a good man...and he is a victim of someone like Joanna!
Her words just served as fuel for Raymond's anger. What? She is even defending him now? How can she defend him in front of him?
"What? You are even defending him now? Tell me Allen, how is that person better than me!" Raymond yelled. He suddenly grabbed her shoulders and shook her. He had never had to compete with anyone or compare himself with anyone. He was the perfect definition of perfect. But because of this woman, he constantly has to compare himself with some actor! He was do angry!
"Why are you acting like this Raymond? What has gotten into you?!" Allen asked. She could not understand this behavior at all.
"You tell me! You explain to me! I don't understand either! I don't why I'm acting like this! Why do I care about you so much? You are not even Joanna!" He yelled. Not that he would care about Joanna either way! But still, he wanted the answers himself. How can this woman who just breezed her way into his life affect him so much?
"Raymond... I think that you should calm down! Right now, you are so angry! Why don't you calm down first and we can talk?" Allen asked. She did not know what she was going to talk about with him. She just knew that this man acting this way scared her out of her wits. What does he want from her? He cares about her? What is that supposed to mean? And if he cares about her...why has she never felt that he cared about her? He was always scaring her out of her senses. She did not even dare to try and look properly at him because she was scared!
"Calm down? How the hell am I supposed to calm down? I think that you should explain it to me Allen! Why do I care about you so much? Why do I care about the people whom you meet and the people you defend? It's not as if I don't have people to talk to me so why do I care if you talk to me or not? Why do I care if you stay away from me or not? Isn't this what I want? I really couldn't have started to like you right?" He asked her. Raymond was really emotional and he was just saying whatever was on his mind.
