Chapter 102

Allen thought that Paul was definitely right. He isn't a good person. And he is dangerous.
"He is someone that I used to know. He left the country five years ago but he recently came back. I don't even know why he came back. You are right about him. He is a dangerous person" Allen said.
Paul sighed. "You know that he is a dangerous person and yet you still went off with him! What were you trying to prove? You should not do something like that again. No matter what he threatens you with, you should not go with him" Paul said.
"I just thought that I should take responsibility for my problems. I don't know how he got to know that I'm pretending to be Joanna but that isn't even the point right now. He has his ways. I just don't want to.get others in trouble because of me" Allen said.
Paul sighed but he did not say anything else. He looked at Allen's face. No matter how many times he saw this face, he just could not stop associating it with Joanna. How can people who look so alike be so different? Joanna...she would never be this understanding. Paul did not even know when he started to make the comparison between Allen and Joanna but somehow, it has become an habit.
Speaking of Joanna, he thought of what Raymond had said. Joanna did not run away because she did not want to get married. She was happy about having to marry him. But that isn't what she told him. She said that she was forced. But if she did not run away, then what happened to her? How is she doing right now? There did not have any clues at all. How are they even going to deal with this?
Allen looked at Paul who was quiet again. No matter what, she could not stop thinking about what Sonia had told her. Allen was sure that Sonia still had feelings for Mike. It was just that she had given up right now. If Paul knew the truth about what happened between Joanna and Sonia .. would he give her a chance?
"Paul ...what do you think of Sonia?" Allen asked.
Paul was surprised. Why is Allen talking about Sonia all of a sudden? Sonia that woman... she...
"Why are you asking about her? Did she do something to you?" Paul asked. He was alarmed when he heard Sonia's name. She isn't bullying Allen right?
"No no. .she didn't do anything to me. It's just that ....I think that she's quite nice. Don't you think so?" Allen asked.
Paul was shocked. "Nice? Sonia? Nice?x" he just could not believe that descriptions of her. That is the same woman who did so many bad things to Joanna because she was jealous of her. How can she be nice?
Allen pursed her lips. It seemed that Paul believed everything that Joanna had said about Sonia. Joanna is the one who set Sonia up using her friend and Sonia is the one who is labelled as a bad person. It just did not make any sense to Allen. She did not understand why a woman could be so scheming.
She did not have anything more to say and so she just kept quiet. What else could she say? She definitely won't be the only to tell Paul that Joanna lied to him and used him to get rid of someone that she did not like. Allen was sure that Paul won't even believe her anyway. Allen felt really bad for Sonia. She has had to go through so much injustice.

Paul and Allen arrived in front of her house. Allen was reluctant to leave. She did not know how she was going to face Raymond if he came back. For a few days, the both of them have been avoiding each other and avoiding talking about what they were going to do. But deep down, the both of them knew that there was no way that they would be able to avioid this situation for long. In the end, they still had to talk to each other. But Allen just wasn't ready for it. She did not know what she was supposed to do to clear this up. She looked at Paul. He was looking at her with a strange look. Allen was starting to get embarrassed. She knew that she could not continue to sit in the car like this for nothing. It was only going to make things awkward and weird for them. "Alright. I'm going to leave now. Thanks for what you did for me today" Allen said. Really she was grateful. She did not know how far that crazy idioit would have gone. What would he have done to her? Allen did not even want to think about it. She knew how crazy Ryan could get. Once he set his mind to something....she still did not know what he was going to do next but at least she was able to avioid him for today.
."You don't need to worry about it anymore. I am the one who asked you to do this for me and so I avoid take responsibility for you. You don't need to thank me for that. About Raymond....I'll find a way to deal with it. Don't worry, no matter what, he won't do anything to you. I am the one who asked you to do this and if he wants to go after someone then he should go after me" Paul said. He had noticed how Allen was fidgeting. She was probably afraid to go back into the house. No matter how terrible Raymond is...he won't be so heartless as to go after a woman right? He probably won't be doing that. Paul looked up at Allen. He had suddenly thought of something. "If you don't want to go through with this if you don't want to live here anymore...you can tell me. I'll find a place for you to live in" he told her. Since he already knew that she isn't Joanna and that she is just someone who looks like Joanna, it must be very difficult for Allen to continue to stay here right? She must be having a hard time living in the same place with this man. Worrying constantly about what he was going to do to her. He thought that if she could not put up with it, then he could find a place for her. So she did not have to deal with it.
