Chapter 75

Raymond had finished talking to his grandfather and he was leaving now. He had finally convinced him to stay for a couple more days. He did not want his grandfather to get involved with Ryan. He will find a way to deal with him soon. He was leaving the hospital when he saw someone familiar. He had got so used to seeing the face that he would be able to recognize her from any angle now. It was Joanna. What is she doing in the hospital? Did she come on her own to see his grandfather? Maybe she was trying to play some more tricks with him?
She was sitting with another woman. The woman looked really familiar. Not that he knew her or anything. He just thought that he had seen her in passing before. He racked his bráin for a few seconds before he was able to remember where he had seen her from. The last time that he had been in the hospital...this woman had come to talk to Joanna! She said that she was her friend after wards. What were the both of them talking about? Joanna did not seem like she was here for his grandfather.
Raymond found himself going closer to her. In his twenty five years of life, he did not think that a day would come when he would have to eavesdrop on someone's conversation like this. But he just wanted to know what she was talking about. He wanted to go what was going on in her head. These days, he barely even got to see her. It was as if she was avoiding him on purpose. He really wanted to know what kind of mind games she was trying to play with him. Is she playing the push and pull game with him? To make him more interested? He could never trust what was going on in Joanna's head.
He went over to them. He was seated a few seats away from them. They were so engrossed in thier conversation that they did not see him. But he could hear what they were talking about. That was when he heard the other woman telling Joanna
Allen, I have something to tell you. Listen to me first and don't panic. Ryan....he came back. He was here to see me a few days ago"
Raymond was shocked. What is going on here? Allen? Who is Allen? And which Ryan are they talking about?
He listened to thier entire conversation. Raymond felt something surging through him. What is going on here? Why is this friend of hers calling Joanna Allen repeatedly? Had he been decieved? The person he married isn't Joanna Anderson but some woman named Allen? How is this even possible? What sort of joke is this? !
[2/22, 7:58 PM] Sonia: Raymond sat down on the couch in his house. He was drinking. He felt like he would lose control of himself and he won't be able to hold on if he did not try to get a hold of his emotions right now. What tht fuck did he just hear today? He had listened to the entire conversation and one thing was clear from it. That woman, she is not Joanna! She is someone called Allen! How did this even happen? He did not know if the Ryan that they mentioned was that crazy cousin of his but he knew now that wasn't Joanna.
No wonder she was so different! She kept trying to avoid him! She won't even have eye contact with him! Is it because she felt guilty about something? She knew that she was lying and decieving him and so she had been staying away from him in fear that she would get caught? Is that it? But still...he still did not understand how she is not Joanna. It was the same. It was the same face. She looked exactly like Joanna! So how can she be Allen and not Joanna? What the hell is going on? How did he end up getting played like this? And the most important question, where the hell is that woman Joanna?
It wasn't as if he cared about her anyway. She is someone that his grandfather forced him to marry. He had only married her for a a while and the both of them were going to part ways in the end anyway. But still, he had his own pride as a man! To think that he almost got fooled like this! He won't let her go! He won't let any of them go! Whether it's Joanna, or it's Allen, or anyone else who was in on this crazy scheme with him, he is going to make sure that he teaches all of them a lesson never to mess around with him again. Did they they that he would be easy?. Someone who looks just like her....posing to be her to make a fool out of him! How dare they!
He racked his bráin thinking about all of the reasons why two people could so be so identical in thier faces. It was either that they were twins. But twins? Joanna Anderson had a twin? Before he had married her, he had done some investigating about her. And she did not have a twin. Back then, he had thought that something was weird too. Before she came to live with her uncle, he could not find out anything about her. All that he could find out that was that her parents died and she came to live with them. So does she really have a twin? He did not think that he was likely. He had never heard about it before. So who the hell is this Allen? And where did she come from? He would have his answers today!
He was not someone that could be so easily decieved. Right now, he did not even know if Joanna Anderson was in on it too or just how many people knew about this. He just knew that she wasn't Joanna!
