Chapter91

Ryan was packed just outside the filming set. He was thinking about whether he should go in to meet her. But right now, she is Joanna Anderson. If he just shows up in front of her like this, it is going to cause a lot of troubles for her. He did not want people to misunderstand her.
Ryan had never cared about anyone's options of him.. he just did whatever he wanted to do whenever he wanted to. Why should he care about other people?
But it seemed that whenever Allen was involved, he was always careful. Not for himself, for her sake. He made a mistake once five years ago, he did not want to repeat it again.
After he returned from abroad five years ago, he was even more cautious towards her than he was before. Like how right now, even though he has been around for quite some time, he won't even go inside to see her. He was still hesitating about going to see her because he did not want to cause problems for her.
He did not care about those things five years ago. But after seeing how she pushed him out of her life without even thinking twice about it, he knew that he had to be careful now.
Ryan made a decision. He won't go inside to see her, but if he waits out here then she is bound to come out at some time right? When she comes out of that place, he is going to see her. And then they are going to talk. Why the hell is she doing this? Why I'd she pretending to be someone that she is not? And why on Earth is she married to Raymond Walker?! What the hell has happened in the last five years when he was away?
Ryan knew for sure that he had to get the answers to those questions today.

Allen was feeling quite heavy headed. She had been feeling an headache since she woke up in the morning. It was not surprising that she feel sick. She had a lot that was going on in her mind after all. She still had not talked to Raymond. He did not know what he was going to do to her. And yesterday, the both of them had ended things on a bad note. He said that she was trying to seduce him but Allen knew that she wasn't doing anything like that. She wasn't so shameless that she would want to do something like that. Why did that damn lizard have to be there? Of all the things that she had to be scared of it was a lizard!
And now, she did not even know when she would be able to bring up the topic to him again! The two of them were in some sort of cold war. He saw her this morning and he would not even say anything to her! Not that she cared anyway....Allen tried to console herself. She tried to console herself that she did not care about him ignoring her but that it was because she had still not convinced him to let her be but she had been thinking about that angry look that was on his face when he saw her this morning! Why is she so worried about it? What is wrong with her head?
Allen was still wondering about all of this when she someone walked up to her and handed her a bottle of water. Thinking that it was Lena, Allen stretched out her hand to take it. When she looked up, she saw that it was Sonia. Allen got up immediately. She was really thankful to this woman. She had been really scared of her thinking of her as a dangerous person but you could never find out about a person's true character without getting to know them personally. She had even agreed to keep her secret for her. Allen was more than convinced now that there was more to the enmity between her and Joanna and it wasn't just about a simple rivalry. It was bigger than that. And Allen was more curious than ever.
Right now, Sonia was smiling at her. And for some reason, that smile seemed to calm her down. Her mind had been a complete mess before she walked up to her.
"Thank you for this Sonia. You really did not have to" Allen said.
"It's okay. You can sit" Sonia said. As Allen sat back down, she took a seat next to her. She had to admit, that she really liked this girl. She saw her old self five years ago in this woman. Nice and naive, without a single idea about how scheming and calculating people could be.
"You seem really distracted when I saw you. Is there something going on with you?" Sonia asked her. She did not even notice that she was standing in front of her until she handed her the water. It must be really stressful for her to pretend to be someone as terrible as Joanna.
Allen smiled. She thought about the things that were going on right now. But she did not think about telling Sonia about them. She has already done enough by agreeing to keep the secret. No need to tell her more and burden her even more than she already was.
"You don't have to worry about me Sonia. I'm fine. Thanks for your concern though" Allen said.
"Allen, since I already know everything there is no need for you to be so polite to me right? It must be really difficult for you to pretend to be Joanna right?" Sonia asked her.
When Allen heard Sonia tell her that she could relax around her, she instantly relaxed. She liked being around this woman. For some reason, she made her comfortable. She felt like she was walking on egg shells around everyone else but with Sonia, she was different.
"No it's fine. I think that it's doable" Allen said. She had lied. It wasn't doable at all. She felt like she was going to lose her mind just thinking about what Raymond was going to do.
Sonia nodded her head. She could see that Allen was lying. She could not hide her emotions at all. Unlike Joanna, even she had gotten fooled by her act five years ago. Joanna was the kind of person who would do something terrible to you and still go on to convince you that it's your fault.
Sonia decided to change the topic immediately "You are really quite good at acting Are you a professional actress?" Sonia asked. She had seen her act and she had to admit that the woman was good. But if there's someone else who looks like Joanna Anderson in the industry, why hasn't anyone heard of her?
"No ..no...I don't act. Actually, it's always been my dream to be an actress. I was supposed to go to acting school, but something happened to my grandmother and I could not go" Allen said.
Sonia looked at the woman in front of her. She was smiling so purely like she did not have any worries in the world, but she could feel that she is someone who has actually been through a lot.
"Oh....it must have been hard on you" Sonia said.
