Peter however did not say anything yet. He was thinking. Something must have happened last night for the both of them to be getting married now. It was just as Fred had said. Did Joanna perhaps know something about him and she was threatening Raymond with it? He won't put something like that past Joanna. She really is a cunning and calculating woman and she can definitely do that without bating an eyelid. He was sure that she got rejected yesterday. Her attitude was enough proof. Otherwise she won't lose her temper with them like that in public.
But whether she has something on him or not, the fact that this marriage was happening right now is probably a good thing for them. Thier company could be saved now. The only thing that he was worried about was that it won't be so easy for them to get her out of the marriage if she really is threatening Raymond. He would have to find out what happened between the both of them last night. But for now, he would play along and get the benefits of the marriage. "Maybe it's a good thing. Our company can be saved earlier now"Peter said
Vivian was even more ángry now. What did her husband mean by this? How can he say something like this? He has his own daughter. There is still Lydia. He should be thinking of ways to get her back so that she can get married to Raymond Walker instead. If Lydia marries him they are still going to save the company. It's even better for them that way since Lydia is thier daughter who will do everything for them. How can they be sure that Joanna will help them out in the future as Raymond's wife? She is just a terrible witch who only knows how to make life difficult for them!
Why is she the one who has to marry such a man when she has her own daughter? Lydia should be the one getting married not Joanna! "What is going on with you Peter? I see that you are beginning to support Joanna more and more! Why? Are you starting to treat your brother's daughter better? Don't forget about what that brother of yours and his wife did back then! No matter what, I won't forget what that woman did! We still have our own daughter. Can't she just marry Raymond Walker instead? Why does it have to be Joanna? What does she have that my daughter doesn't?" Vivian asked. She was letting out all of her griviances right now.
Peter shot his wife a glare. What is she thinking mentioning that brother is his? Everything already finished when he gave up on the company and moved far away from them back then. Did he not get the company in the end? Why does Vivian keep bringing it up? Can't this woman be satisfied with what she has right now? He knew that Vivian has sleep been dissatisfied with Joanna's mother Margaret but the woman already died! And they already came this far! Can't she just let if go now? And does she really think that Lydia is a match for Joanna? He hated to admit it but it was the truth. If he had his way he would make sure that his daughter married Raymond instead!
He already thought about the things that Joanna said yesterday. She was right. The person that they wanted is her. They had to be careful for now if they did not want to lose the company that they worked hard for. "Do you really think that Lydia is a match for Joanna? She is my daughter too and if I had my way she would be the one getting married right now! But she is just not it! Joanna is the one who can help the company right now and so don't make any stupid mistakes in front of her. And stop talking about my brother and Margaret. No matter what happened, she already died! Let it go now!" Peter said.
Vivian has to swallow her pain. Yes she hated Margaret. Even though she died she still hates her! One lifetime won't be enough for Margaret to pay her back for the things that she owes her! Thinking about what she went through to get here, thinking about how she went through so much difficulty to get her husband's heart, she hated Margaret even more. Right now she was not sure if she still has his heart or not. He still gets worked up whenever that woman is mentioned. He said it himself that the woman already died. Since she is dead then why won't he let her go? Why does he have to put on such a sour expression whenever she is mentioned?! That witch Margaret! She is dead but she won't stop troubling her!
Vivian decided to not focus on that. No matter what happens, Margaret is already dead! In the end she is the winner! She is just going to focus on her daughter now! Just like how she won against Margaret, her daughter is going to win against Joanna. What does he mean by Lydia is not a match for Joanna? Lydia is pretty too! That Joanna is just a scheming witch like her mother! "What do you mean by Lydia is not a match for Joanna? How can that Joanna be better than our daughter? I am sure that if we get her to come back here and talk to her she will want to get married to Raymond! We won't have to deal with that woman! She is even ignoring us! She did not even think about telling us something like this!" Vivian continued to complain. How can she not complain? Margaret gave her so much trouble before. And now that she died she dumped her daughter for her to take care of! And Joanna took over from her mother to trouble her!
Peter shook his head. How can his entire family be so stupid? He was angry too that Joanna did not tell them about this after they were the ones who told her about getting married to Raymond Walker but still..! Vivian was just being silly because even after Margaret died she is still jealous of her.

"It's already been so long Vivian. Don't you think that you should let go your petty jealously now? What is it going to do for you? It's not as if there is anything that you can do with it right now! Margaret already died. Don't think that I don't know what is going on in your head right now. Stop this immediately. I don't like Joanna either but don't you think that the company should be what is most important to us right now? If we don't have that company then what do you think will become of our family? Can Lydia help us? What is she even doing right now?!" Because he was starting to get frustrated, he could not help but yell out at Vivian. Can't she be more sensible? Back then, she was like this too.
Vivian was really angry now. She was talking about the fact that her daughter should be the one getting married to Raymond Walker and this man is defending Margaret in front of her! She was sure now that after all these years she is not the only one who did not forget about what happened! It's a good thing that she died then! Otherwise, she won't even be sure of this marriage that she left everything that she had to get into! What she she say? She is doing this because of her petty jealousy? No she is only trying to fight for her daughter because her daughter cannot lose to Joanna Anderson!.
"What? What nonsense are you talking about now? Are you trying to look down on me right now? I'm doing it because of my petty jealousy? No I'm fighting for my daughter right now! Yes maybe Joanna can help with that company but will you be able to live with the fact that she helped us? She is going to trample upon us forever. Do you really want to let that happen? You keep telling me to forget about what happened but can you tell me right now that you forgot about that woman? Did you do that?!" Vivian asked. No matter what, a woman will lose her cool when faced with a rival. Especially when that rival id dead. How can her husband make her someone who is jealous of a dead woman?
Fred did not know why his parents were arguing. He knew that they were talking about his aunt and uncle who died and left Joanna to them but why do they need to argue because of that? He also had the opinion that Lydia should be getting married to Raymond instead but his father already explained to him that Joanna is the one who they want. So he had to put up with it for the sake of the company. The only thing that he could hold on to right now was the fact that Joanna did not tell them. What does she think that she is doing right now? How can she ignore them when they were the ones who told her about the marriage? Just what did she do to Raymond?
"Mom, dad, please stop arguing. Let's not argue about this any longer. Mom, we all think that it will be best for Lydia to marry him instead but there is nothing that we can do about that. Joana is the one that they want. We can only put up with it and take the benefits of the marriage. The only thing that I am angry about right now is the fact that she did not tell us about it. What does she think that she is doing? Is she looking down on our family? She should have told us if she already concluded that she is going to get married. At least she is still our family!" Fred said. He did not want his parents to argue but he could not get over it.
Vivian was still very angry over what Peter has said. He is reducing her to a woman who is jealous of someone who already died! She was talking about the fact that her daughter should be the one getting married to Raymond Walker and this man is defending Margaret in front of her! She was sure now that after all these years she is not the only one who did not forget about what happened! It's a good thing that she died then!
