Sonia smiled. Allen saw through her. "I'm going to be honest with you. I really do like you Allen. I really do hope that we can be friends. Even if you go back to being Allen and you don't have to be Joanna anymore, I really want to be friends with you" Sonia said.
Allen smiled. "Really? I'm going to be friends with a Superstar?" She asked.
"I really do like you Allen. Maybe it's because when I look at you, I see myself from five years ago. I was stupid enough to believe everyone. I even invested my feelings... " Sonia stoped there.
Allen did not need to be told that she was talking about Paul. Allen was sure that she did not get over him at all after all these years. Sincerely speaking, it wasn't completely Paul's fault. He had known Joanna longer. Maybe she wasn't like this in the past. She just changed a lot over the years and Paul did not realise it earlier.
"Sonia....you did not get over Paul over the years right? You still love him right?" Allen asked her.
Sonia looked at Allen with her eyes widened. She wasn't expecting her to point it out like that.
"What are you talking about? It doesn't matter if I'm over him or not. It's not going to work out between the both of us" Sonia said. She had already given up a long time ago. She no longer had any expectations of that person.
"I...." Allen wanted to convince her to give it a try but she knew that it wasn't in her place to talk about this with Sonia. It was her life and she must have been really hurt when the person that she loved misunderstood her and started to hate her because of Joanna's lies. Allen could really understand why Sonia hates Joanna a lot
There was an awkward silence between the both of them for a few seconds. Just then, someone walked in. It was Lena.
"Allen quick come out. Raymond is here to see you!" Lena said.
Allen was shocked. What is she talking about? "You mean Raymond is here?!" Allen asked. She was surprised.
"Yes! He's waiting for you!" Lena said.
Allen took a minute to process this information. Raymond is here and he is waiting for her? How can this be possible? What does he want coming here?
"I ..." Allen really did not want to see him.
"What are you waiting for? I'm going to tell him that you are on your way!" Lena said. She could not hide the excitement in her tone. She walked away leaving Allen morphing.
Sonia looked at Allen. Something wasn't right with her.
"You look pale. Don't you want to see him?" Sonia asked Allen.
Allen looked at Sonia with a pained expression. She really felt like crying. On one hand, she wanted to see him, on the other hand, she wasn't ready to face what he was going to talk to her about.
Sonia glaced at Allen again. It seemed that she had figured out something.
"Does he know? That you are not Joanna?" Sonia asked.
Allen was shocked that Sonia was able to figure it out so soon.
"How do you know?" She asked Sonia.
"It's quite obvious judging from your expression. You aren't going to meet him as Joanna right now but Allen. That's why you are so nervous right? Tell me is there something going on between the both of you?" Sonia asked her.
Allen really wanted to know how Sonia was able to guess everything so perfectly. "How do you really know?" Allen asked.
"You do know that your expression gives you away right now right? So tell me, what is it?" Sonia asked. There was a glint of light in her eyes.
Allen could not explain it but for some reason, she felt really comfortable with Sonia. She did not feel uncomfortable about telling her anything.
"Raymond said that he is in love with me" Allen said..
There was an awkward silence for s full minute before Sonia burst out laughing. "You are joking right?" Sonia asked.
"No.. it's the truth. He told me that he loves me. Actually, the marriage with Joanna ..it isn't real. They had a deal ..they were supposed to be separated in six months" Allen said. A small voice told her that she was telling Sonia too much but she pushed the voice away. She wanted to tell her and she was going to tell her as she wants.
Sonia did not find that hard to believe. It sounded like something that Joanna would do. Besides, it never made sense that Joanna was in a relationship with Raymond Walker and she never showed off that relationship. A contract marriage between the both of them was a more believable situation. But Raymond just had to start liking Allen. She thought that Allen would be able to escape from all of this as long as Joanna comes back but it seemed that it won't be possible any longer. Joanna definitely won't stand for something like this when she comes back.
Seeing how Joanna was boasting about her marriage, Sonia knew for sure that she had other tricks up her sleeves. Sonia knew Joanna well enough to know that she wasn't going to sit for being married to Raymond Walker for just six months. Sonia suddenly felt sorry for Allen. It seems that she was about to lose her peaceful life.
"So? What about you? Do you feel the same way? Are you going to get together with him?" Sonia asked her.
Allen really did not know how she was supposed to answer this question. Should she get together with Raymond? Even though she knew that the marriage wasn't real, she felt like if she did that, she would be doing something wrong. After all, she was only getting paid to play Joanna for a few months.
"I really don't know Sonia. I don't know what to do. No matter how much I think about it, I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Even though I know that the marriage between the both of them isn't real, I still can't help but feel that getting together with him is wrong" Allen said.
Sonia really did not know what to say to Allen. Putting aside the fact that Allen probably won't be able to deal with Joanna, she really wanted Allen to get together with Raymond if the both of them had feelings for each other. After all, Joanna was always stealing things from people. It sure would feel nice for her to experience something taken away from her. It wasn't as if Raymond Walker was hers anyway but Sonia knew that Joanna was definitely going to think that something was taken away from her.
"You don't need to feel that way Allen. If you really want to, you can get together with him. After all, you said it yourself, the marriage between them isn't real. I'm just worried that you won't be able to deal with Joanna yourself but as long as you have Raymond Walker, I'm sure that Joanna won't be able to do anything to you then" Sonia said. No matter how crazy Joanna was, she won't try to do anything against Raymond Walker.
Sonia knew that she wanted them to get together because of the satisfaction it was going to give her seeing Joanna lose Raymond Walker but she never really cared. After all, she was never a good person to begin with.
Allen thought about what Sonia said. Maybe she was right. Maybe she should stop hesitating so much. She won't be doing anything wrong anyway, right?
Allen was still pondering about this when the door was opened forcefully from outside. Standing just outside the door was Raymond. Lena was panting behind him. It looked like Lena had been trying to stop Raymond from coming in.
"What are you doing?!" Allen yelled. She could not help it. She was so shocked.
"What do you think I'm doing? Are you trying to ignore me now?" Raymond asked her.
"Ignore you? What nonsense are you talking about?!" Allen asked.
"You knew I was outside but you refused to come out to see me. Of course I'm going to come here to see you! Do you really think they you'll be able to hide just because you want to,?" Raymond asked. He was already tired of waiting. He knew that Allen knew that he was here because Lena went to tell her but she still refused to come out. Of course she did not want to see him! He came all the way her to see her, of course he is not going to be ignored like this.
"I'm really sorry Joanna. I tried to stop him from coming in but he refused to leave. He said that he was going to come to see you" Lena said. She called Allen Joanna because of Sonia without knowing that Sonia already knows that she isn't Joanna.
Sonia smiled knowingly. She took a long glance at the look on Allen's face. It turns out that she was good at figuring out other people's feelings but she wasn't good at figuring out her own feelings. Whatever, since she already considers her a friend, she is going to help her out.
"Lena, let's leave. I think that the both of them have something to talk about alone" Sonia said.
Lena hesitated. Raymond looked angry. She really did not know if he was going to do something to Allen here.
"Come on. Let's go. The both of them are already married. What can possibly go wrong with the both of them together? Let's go. Don't be a lightbulb" Sonia said. She really hoped that Allen could see what she was doing for her here.
Lena looked at Sonia. She could not tell her that the both of them are not really married since Allen isn't Joanna. And, why is Sonia suddenly so nice to her today? Isn't she always mean and rude to her because she is Joanna's assistant? And seriously since when did she and Allen start to get so close? Didn't she hate Joanna to the death? What really is going on here? What are the both of them talking about here?
Lena did not get the chance to think too much about it. Sonia pulled her out of the room with her and proceeded to "conviniently" shut the door behind her.
Allen sighed. It seems that she could not escape this man now. She gulped.
Raymond smirked. He thought that the woman who just left was pretty smart. She even knew to shut the door behind her. How considerate of her.
"So, tell me. Why didn't you come out to see me? You thought that you'll be able to hide here forever?" Raymond asked her.
"Who...who said that I'm hiding? I'm not hiding!" Alenn said. She tried to raise her voice to cover the fact that she was nervous but she just ended up giving herself away even more. She was shaking so much. Allen did not even understand why she was feeling so nervous in front of this man. She did not know what she was expecting him to do to her that she was so scared of him what is she thinking right now.
Raymond smirked and moved closer to her. Allen moved back and Raymond just continued to approach her. The scene seemed oddly familiar. The both of them continued like this until Joanna was resting her back on top of the table.
"You...what are you doing right now? I'm telling you this is the dressing room! Don't try anything funny here!" Allen said. It was obvious that her warning had no effect on the man sradnj even in front of her.
"What do you think I'm going to do to you?" Raymond asked. He suddenly leaned in closer to her. Since Allen could not shot her body anymore, he was really close to her. The both of them could feel each other's breath on thier faces. Their lips were just seconds away from touching.
